March comes in like a lion. All time favorite.
Excellent drama, stunning visuals and animation, beautiful music/soundtrack, wonderful characters.

You do have to like the pacing of a sice of life show, though.

In my opinion, Violet Evergarden, After the Rain and Kids on the Slope also meet your criteria. And they're all drama shows... because that's what I rate the highest.
I also like drama anime but I want to have a little bit of mystery in there aswell

If you mean perfect like "I don't have anything to complain", then mainly these (no order):

- 86
- Shinsekai Yori
- 12 Kingdoms
- Princess Mononoke
- Natsume Yuujinchou

They are also some of my favorites.

Atm rewatching Cowboy Bebop with a friend and almost forgot how great it is and how much I loved it. ❤

No, I don't think one exists lol, but I am sure there are some that come close like I would say Gintama season 4 but I would not say that it is perfect anime.

Gintama season 4 fits the requirements

Shogun assassination and farewell shinsengumi were dope but I think the normal gag episodes were kinda lacking. Not saying that they were bad but the comedy in season 1 and 2 felt better to me atleast.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but, Steins;Gate! I was overwhelmingly surprised to find out all the hype around it wasn't undeserved. The characters, the sci-fi, the feels, the way the plot points all meet together so perfectly without any plot holes (none that I could find anyways).

If you look it in that way, then JoJo seem to be the only one case

(Some other are there in terms of quality but jojo has more in quantity. Thats why I chose it)

I don't consider any anime as perfect. The only anime I have seen that fulfills your requirements is Gintama, but even that has its flaws. I don't believe any anime is absolutely flawless.

I look at how much a given Anime personally affected me when determining it’s worth. If it has a powerful enough message that literally changes my world view, I consider it to be perfect, even if it may not actually be flawless in the most rigidly nitpicky technical sense.

However, this does not apply to Neon Genesis Evangelion which literally is perfect in every regard and stands as the single greatest work of fiction ever created in the history of man.

No, the magma episode does not exist.

Even some "perfect anime" sometimes has pacing issues or some sort of problem even if all those other things on your list were perfect. There's usually something that'll throw you off from a near perfect anime which will not make it perfect. If a perfect anime truly existed then the #1 anime on the top list would be 10/10 but even the top anime is in the low 9s/10

If those are the requirements for a perfect anime then Urusei Yatsura 2 Beautiful Dreamer is perfect which makes me happy. It also means that Initial D is not perfect because the visuals suck so fuck that.

Initial D visuals are good though? Just cause its old doesnt instantly mean its bad visuals

Stages 1 and 2 have crap CG while stage 4 has early 2000s digital 2d which doesn't look all that good. Only the last two have both good 3d cars and 2d characters. Still, the other aspects of the show are good enough for me to ignore the visuals.

The closest one to perfection is Legend of Galactic Heroes (OVA) I think, everything is spot-on and despite having over 100+ episodes there is none episode I dont like.

Very recommended to just watch the OVA (old) version instead of the remake one. The remake is mediocre and kinda cringe, better to avoid if you can.
Just my opinion but, the remake is so inferior in every way to the OVA one.

My favorite anime steins;gate hits all these points for me. Unique interesting story that is really interesting. Deep characters that are unique and developed really well outside of the main characters. Art is probably seen as the weak point, but I think it works well with the more grounded setting.

The sole perfect anime (and really, media entry of any medium period) for me to date is Koi Kaze (as my longstanding avatar would suggest, for anyone familiar).

As for my other 10/10 anime series, of which I have six at present (and this hasn't changed in a long time; wish I could add another to the esteemed family of 10s or even 9s soon):

Inuyasha, Haibane Renmei, and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni are what I would characterize with language such as "near-perfect", "perfect enough to me", or "if not technically, than functionally perfect".

Kenpuu Denki Berserk, Serial Experiments Lain, and Usagi Drop I don't consider perfect either in the objective or wholly personal sense, but are still masterpieces.

I don't care about requirements and I don't think there's a need to have. Unless you are a truly professional critic that can really see 'objectively' without feeling any biased, maybe you can find a 'perfect' anime in all aspects.

If you think in your whole life (5, 10, 20+ years of watching anime) you have found an anime that makes me you go "Ahh.. This is it. This is what I am looking for. This is my GOAT. It will be my number 1 until I die even if my completed anime still counting. It WILL stay up there." This feeling alone represents the perfect anime for you.

So in this case, YES, I have found my only one PERFECT anime :) (which is showing everywhere in everything of mine lol)

But still, if I look at your requirements, Gintama does hv all of these below:
-Top tier story/plot
-Top tier characters/cast
-Top tier music/soundtracks
-Top tier animation/visuals

The top tier order I would say 1. Characters 2. Plot 3. Music/Soundtracks (OPs, EDs, OST) 4. Animation (early years are the 2000s animation but quality escalates from season 2). I may be biased, but it is also a fact.

good know you found your perfect anime but I have heard gintama doesn’t have good visuals.

I have seen one piece up until end of Zou and I truly believe that one piece could have been the greatest anime of all time if they went seasonal after the time skip and improved the pacing. It hurts when I see incredible source material being made worse because toei just care about the money.

yeah, i hate that a lot, and just because i wanted to experience it again without the bad pacing i hrad the entire manga too. and imo the manga would classify as "the best" for many people because it doesnt have the only flaw which bothers me in the anime.
the manga is much worth it, i recommend checking it out too
