Maaan, that's disappointing. We're back to God of Highschool's "all movement, no animation" fake sakuga, I should have seen it coming. Such a bad, uninteresting episode.

Mahito is that kind of villian, the worst of its kind. Villians with strong sense of principle like him are the worst to have, since they are usually the type to attract shattered individuals to evil. I can see why Junpei decided to go with him, but I hope its not too late for Yuuji to knock the sense out of him.

So far, I am not seeing the shounen vibe, the series gives off a dark, psychological, and awesome fighting atmosphere but I need to see the "talk". I have faith that yuuji will be our shounen boy. I'm excited to see how Yuuji will influence Junpei. I love it as always <3

Another great episode! "Overgrown children" might not be that far off, might just be correct.. a lot of teachers either don't notice or ignore bullying; they're really just massive morons, their ineptness is the crux of the matter. The action part was also nice, but it should be even nicer the next episode!

Yeah honestly I enjoyed the fight but they added a lot of unnecessary movement. Like Nanami is strong, but with the movement they do they make him seem like he's teleporting. Doesn't ruin the fights for more, but it definitely makes me appreciate the fight in the manga more. However, I will say they improved the Gojo vs Jogo fight with the movement there but it just doesn't apply as well in this episode.

Yeah, exactly, I agree. For me there was a WORLD of difference between those two fights. Gojo and Jogo were actually hitting each other lol. And maybe Mahito wasn't really introduced properly, but I couldn't feel the difference in power between them or why he's supposed to be so dangerous. His character in the anime has been actually kinda boring in my mind.

Hopefully it isn't due to budget/manpower constraints since Mappa will be extremely busy with AoT.

awful and poor choreography, the movements felt clumsy lacking impact and fluidity. They wanted to be showy but they don't have the attention to detail and they tried to cover more than they can give.

Throughout this panel you can feel the fluidity and impacts of Nanami's blows. Gege has proven to be very detailed when it comes to his choreography in hand-to-hand combat, You can see Nanami stopping one of Mahito's blows with her elbow while trying to attack him with her weapon.

The anime lacks these details in addition to stretching the combat in an inneseary way.

but what can you expect from the director of God of the high school

I feel really sorry for Junpei because he seems like such a sweet person but he's also so vulnerable. Meeting Mahito before he met Itadori was the worst thing that could happen to him because he just wants someone to treat him like he's worth something but unfortunately, the person who did that is a frickin' psycho filling his head with twisted shit.

Nah man, those guys, that bitch who was their friend and that teacher deserved to die. Junpei was literally TORTURED and nobody did NOTHING, i hope you dont believe that karma bs, that the "bullies will get what they deserve in the future" thing. I know it sounds kinda edgy, but thats the truth, usually these type of "bullies" (they are torturers) live theirs lives normally, and the person who got fucked, cant ascend in life bc he's broke inside (and sometimes outside too).

Oh, I totally agree! They deserved what they got but I feel like Junpei owes it to himself to still be a good person because those bastards should not change the sweet and kind person that he is.

No I do not believe in karma at all. I've had experiences with bullies and I'm pretty aware that they don't get what they deserve in a karmic way

Another great episode <3. Mahito is definitely an opponent that can keep you on toes. Kento vs. Mahito was really cool. Poor panda! He just wanted to wear the jacket. Satoru taking Nobara's skirt was pretty funny though.

It was a good fight, and he hasn't even taken it seriously yet. Itadori was funny stealing the teacher's pants.

I guess there is still time for Yuuji to make that kid switch sides. If he's a potential lvl 2, he could be a great addition to their team.

On the other end, what a fight! And here i thought he was gone lmao, next episode will be even better!

Part of me really wanted to get an English, "Over-time" out of Nanami. Oh well, guess he doesn't care if we think he sounds cool or not. Which, of course, only makes him all the more bad-ass.

Also, I've seen entire series with less effort put into them than that post credits sequence.

Explanations take time, but they're always nice if they clear up the dark points of the plot and script, making the narrative easier to follow. Not bad the action, the cliffhanger is more than satisfactory because it takes a bit off guard, as there seemed to be a certain misalignment between the strength of the two challengers, I can't wait for the next episode to come to understand how the clash between the character of Nanami and that of Mahito. The other aspect that takes me by surprise is how Itadori behaves towards the Junpei professor.

P.S. Give us Nobara back as soon as possible, that girl is too funny. X°°D

Sometimes I seriously wonder if bullies IN JAPAN can be this "cruel". Honestly, it seems really forced and hard to believe since they look more "cartoonish" than anything else but well. The useless fat teacher being totally clueless about everything was quite on point tho.

Overall, nice episode. Mahito's way of thinking has me quite intrigued and the fight with Nanami is being fantastic so far. Looking forward to its conclusion now that Nanami has to work overtime.

The bad coreography and the filler annoy me.

At this point I don't know if they will end the adaptation at chapter 64 or 54. But if second season has to cover the current manga arc they should go for the former.

This man gets it. Instead of high speed fight they should've shown a more grounded fight like the fight between Sukuna and Curse womb. The scene where Mahito turns his legs into that of an animal which allowed him to speedblitz Nanami would also then feel natural if they fought at reasonable speeds in the first place.

You two have no clue what you are talking about smh. Talking about fast pace when this was actually one of the slowest episodes yet, it didn't even adapt 2 chapters. The bight between Nanami and Mahito finished much faster in the manga. I have no idea how can you say the fight was fast-paced when it took a couple of minutes with moments in-between where they stopped fighting to have a short conversation and even then the fight is still not done and it's going to continue next episode. What you say doesn't make any sense.

Says a random dude that has no idea how animation works. Sunghoo Park is considered one of the best action directors by the industry, just say you don't like it personally and that's alright but don't go around talking like you know anything.

So... is Nanami really going to die in two episodes? Man modern shonen is weird as hell.

---------------------------------------------------
What Mahito said about the soul giving form to the body was interesting, because it goes more on the religious side of things (in Asian religions, not Christianity) but the whole "Just do whatever idk" is such a weird thing to say. I guess it is expected from a demon taking human form I guess, but still.

nice episode, lots of deep dialogue in this one ngl, Mahito seems like one hell of a curse, Yoshino seems to have a pretty harsh backstory and time at school, can't help but feel bad for the guy. Itadori intervening at the right moment, Yoshino was gonna pull out a stunt that i don't think was gonna be a pretty one. Feel like i could kinda just guess Yoshino and Itadori's relations.

Nanami and Mahito fight is pretty good, Mahito keep a stockpile of disfigured humans as weaponry is pretty fucked, as well as his ability to alter his body and directly touch a persons soul.
Damn that last one liner from Nanami was badass though, nothings scarier then a salary man who can wield fucking supernatural abilities working overtime.

Fucking Jujutsu stroll are the cherry on top for each episode i swear. Kugisaki bonking panda and Inumaki was amazing, i can see they are also men of culture, but fucking Gojou man, no chill.
