It’s too bad that many other shows use this “mad sadist, smug girl” archetype character, like in yakusoku no Neverland, Higurashi, and Elfen Lied. Takano from Higurashi is so bad it actually ruined the second season. This type of character only works when mocked, like in Kaguya-Sama (main heroine) and One punch man (parody). |

| I don't have that many characters I hate. I don't find characters that annoying for being a little bland or a really good villain. Mostly ones that are really self centered and whiny. Basically I just have five: 5. Nina from Code Geass The only character that gets a lot of hate I understand. They try to give her a redemption arc but it's too little too late. 4. The Principal from Ranma 1/2 He's not in the show as much but his introduction and the way he flaunts his power to make unreasonable demands of his students and then pretends it was all a test at the end is frustrating to watch. Also he has a really annoying voice, especially his laugh. 3. Miu from Ichigo Marshmarow This character almost single handedly ruined this show for me. I hate her inability to consider the feelings of her friends and the way she always throws a tantrum or becomes petty when she doesn't get whatever she want no matter how unreasonable it is. I think she only does one nice thing throughout the whole show and it's just handing someone a tissue they could have easily gotten themselves. 2. Mihoshi from Tenchi Muyou The most useless character I've ever seen in a show. The only reason why the other characters ever take her seriously or voluntarily bring her along on an adventure is because they're mostly pretty stupid too. Her voice is really annoying and her blissful ignorance and whiny cry baby attitude grate on my every nerve. 1. Happosi from Ranma 1/2 I'm not really a fan of the old pervert trope in general but this character goes beyond just that. He's overpowered and rarely gets put in his place. He always whines when he doesn't get what he wants and makes excuses for molesting young girls by insisting he should be given special treatment because of his age. He sometimes makes for a decent foil in the show but his domination of episodes almost makes it unwatchable for a while after he's introduced. |
