| Everyone has different taste in anime, tv shows, movies and pretty much everything else. So I see no sense in getting upset over what someone says about the shows I like, nor do I care what shows other people like. |

| I get excited cause that means I can tell them their taste is shit too :P Jokes aside I don't really mind and kinda like it. Arguing over who has shit taste is one of the cornerstones of the anime community. Compared to communities where arguing and being critical is discouraged / seen as being "mean," I much prefer the one where we all can argue with each other over stuff and not have any hard feelings about it. Criticism is how we get better after all. |

| I usually have a lighthearted argument about it as we laugh. I used to always diss my exes taste too, so I don't take it personally. My jimmies were genuinely rustled when he said that he didn't finish Konosuba because it was "unfunny and boring". Oof. If it's a close friend who says something I think is great is shit, I lose some respect for them and feel bad for them cause they can't appreciate how good a show is. |

| I just laugh it off. Taste in anime kinda feels like team sports, Pepsi vs Coke, Ford vs Chevy, Trump Vs Hillary. To see people become so poisoned by the team sports mentality and the results of such, to me it makes no sense to become so entrenched in that mindset, especially where friends are concerned. |
