| This last episode was so great, so many fights! After so much effort, they won, now Germany will unite. So many people died only to make Germany united again! Great story. So many things could have changed if only West Germany had arrived earlier... And i'm not even talking about Theodor, he simply let Irisdina die in his hands lol The time that he wasted looking at the city, they would probably have enough time to reach a hospital. | Instead of going to the hospital they decide to enjoy the view of the sunrise because going to the hospital is for pussies. This reminded me of a movie I've watched before where the girl is dying and the guy decided to bring her to the beach to watch the sunset lol. Well Gretel survived that's good. Axeman should've had a slow painful death, too bad he got shot in the head. This anime started of really boring but it got a little more interesting later on. The show , unlike most mecha anime, was focused on two things: Fighting creatures and politics. Although it was obvious it was leaning more on the latter. Unfortunately the characters are not fleshed out enough so it's hard to feel bad for them. The show expects its viewers to have already watched or played muv-luv, resulting in a lot of confusing plot points. Overall it's kinda decent but forgettable. |

| Oh, come on. I really wanted to give this an 8/10, but it screwed it up just before it finished. Really, so you immediately take away an enemy on a stretcher for first aid, but Irisdina? Nope, gotta enjoy the view. And she talked so long that it's really hard for me to stay convinced she was going to die anyway. Also... Anett. Will she ever stop killing teammates? Why on earth did she toss the gun to a person with their hands tied, instead of shooting Axeman right there herself? Jfc. Some real BS happened in the last few minutes, I'm really disappointed it turned out the way it did. Still, the 11 and a half episodes before this one were a solid 8, and I truly enjoyed every minute of them. Final episode: 3/5 Series overall: 7/10 Even though I'm probably paranoid, did Irina die just for the sake of Theodor and Katia being a thing? Because if so, I'm gonna take another point off. Hoping for a season 2. |

Well, the anime had a good effect, fights were better then the TE series (The last fight between Yuuya and the controlled Cryska was pathetic) we can obviously deduce that the fight between Beatrix and Theodor was an epic battle with amazing effects. I give the anime 8/10. Bernhard im Schatten would be a good choice to adapt as either in TV series or OVA. |

| Gosh, it's probably because I've been binge-watching to catch up on all the series that aired, but man I have seem way too much of the notorious illogical anime decisions that end up ruining moments or entire series just because of how idiotic the situations are... Like I knew it was coming, I was 99.9% sure they'd kill off Irisdina, but I wanted to hope that he would end up with her, guess not since there was so much more focus on Katia T^T My ship took a shot in a vital spot and sank mercilessly Anyways decent ending except for some very standard cliches and whatnot but there aren't many anime that don't incorporate those in some way nowadays, but overall it wasn't that bad, I sorta liked it, you know... Until my ship was brutally shot down but whatever, satisfied and done |

| WTF, man. What does this series have against busty girls? Irisdina, and even Slyvia. FeelsBadMan. At least Gretel managed to survive, although I don't understand the short-hair. Overall, I'd say I enjoyed this more than Total Eclipse, which was mostly a mess. |

| Yes, at least Anett didn't die. Iris dying, quite sure that doesn't happen in the VN. Yaay Megane is alive. RIP Iris though. Taking her to a hospital instead of showing her Berlin could've probably saved her. Overall okay ending for an alright series, not bad. |

| compared to the last Muv Luv anime... they are definitely going to the right direction. There are plenty of things they could have done better but this was a solid anime. It is nice to see that some creators listens to their fans. They even pulled a luluxsuzu somewhere in this episode! see you in R2 |

| I'll ignore the Iris scenes flaw as this is one of the few mechas I genuinely enjoyed. Not fond of the talk shit in other mechas. MAL score is 7.02, I don't get it. I guess most people just have shit taste hehe. |

| For me the show was pretty average. Maybe I've seen too many mech shows, but neither the story or the characters were very appealing. The predictable deaths at the end felt like a lazy last ditch attempt to garner some emotional connection to the characters. |
| I really want to give it less than 6/10 ,but I can't...I'm too nice. I don't mind deaths and all that...but there was too much of it and killing Iris was not a good choice imo The ending was kind of stupid,because: A) Why Anett didn't shoot this Stasi guy by herself? If she did,I think iris would still live B) WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE HER TO A HOSPITAL,WHY?! SHE STILL PROBABLY LIVED FOR LIKE 10-20 MIN (getting on that hill to see Berlin + the conversation probably took some time). As much as I like Theodor,boy,you are dumb. At least I finally got my nr.1 hated character :3 God damn Lise was so fucked up. I was cursing whenever I saw her on the screen. So overall killing off 90% of characters and a very sad ending killed the serie imo. |

| That was nice. It had good amount of mecha action. But I felt like the writer gave too much importance to Stasi and their political motives while the BETA became irrelevant. The characters were okay. The ending felt rushed. They could've at least had more scenes with Iris and Theodore instead of his insane sister if they were planning to kill her. 7/10 |

| Ending.. Well i really felt though this anime, the story, the animation, characters. the military style, as for the interesting history. Already in the begining i had the intense, epic, " I NEED TO SEE MORE" feeling. Enjoyed watching this to the max, not a masterpiece, But a sure 9,4/10 This anime defiantly deliver what i needed, epic, fighting, military, betrayal. an intense story. Defiantly worth watching. and going to recommend this to an plenty of friends right away! ^^ |

so gretel lived after being sprayed by an AK-47 and almost burned while iris died with 2 shots of a hand gun. wtf? was sight-seeing the best option for a girl who was shot in the stomach? >.<  anyways, this anime was a bit slugish *even with only 12 episodes* and there were loose parts all over. it dragged a bit coz the show was not focused on anything. they were having different agendas and was not even focused on the alien army that could destroy their world :p there was a chance for a harem but the MC chose the pseudo-incest path. then he confessed to a dead girl when he didn't even show that he likes her *claps* still, would rate it 5/10 *kek* |

| Hmm so that was the last episode. The fight between the TSF's was nice. Walther and Sylvia I will miss them :( Katias speech was perfect, with this everyone recognized that they have to do something against the Stasi. Beatrix got absolutely rekt by Theodor, I liked that sword fight a lot. Fuck Axmann.....this fucking guy...why? Why had Irsidina to die, that was so fucking sad for me. I really liked that show and it was very interesting to watch, but that ruined it a little bit for me ;_; Even if I'm happy for everyone who survived, Gretel got also shot in the stomache survived and Iris can't? That makes no sense to me. Theodor like always to late, he should had said that he loves her. Now it's to late. Oh well.... Great that the west came to help against the BETA, that was very important. Even with this ending it didn't felt like a happy ending. But I knew something bad would happen in this last episode. There were not many people who died, so they saved it for the final. Anyway I'm glad for Katia and Theodor :) I don't know how much material there's for a "maybe" second season but I wouldn't mind it. I liked the characters, the animation was great, the music was also nice and the plot interesting. For me overall a 8/10. :) |

| Really enjoyed the show. It had good pacing and a nice blend of action and drama. Like everyone else I felt like the Iris death was a little silly but it was still a very beautiful scene. I wasn't a fan of how (almost) everyone died but still enjoyed the series. I'd rewatch it so 8/10 |
