| This show continues to be really damn impressive on all fronts. I love how harmonious the scenes are, from the content to the music and the artistic nature, all of it feels like they're all married together in various scenes and makes them more impactful in the process. Like the scene with Miyokichi interacting alone with Kikuhiko, felt a lot more memorable with how subtle everything felt from both of them and the music and art complementing the atmosphere so damn well, making it much better of a scene to watch. Kikuhiko finally had a great performance too, even if it took dressing up as a female character to get to that phase, that sort of unlocked his rakugo potential since it forces him to really play a different character and throw away whatever made him, him beforehand on stage but also made more sense in understanding how female characters would think, making his rakugo performances on themes like eroticism feel much more natural compared to how stiff he was previously when trying to deliver the same emotions. |
| Miyokichi was a lot more likeable in this episode. That play was absolutely wonderful, especially the moment when Kikuhiko's character revealed herself to be a man. Actually ALL of the performances so far in this series were so good. |
