| Shinoa x Yuu is foced ship. Is like one of these ships which I feels like author doesn't really care to give them chemistry. There will create moments to give them chance to have a "moment", so after all it will be doesn't look out as "bad writting". Is like "oh, c'mon they have moments here and there", but it doesn't mean there are "good moments", let them just scream their names, hug them in cliche moments... Like that lastest hug, which just come from nowhere... -.- There will be lot moments where people will say "aww... cute! OTP!", but for me there will be always forced and created just to MC have love interest. |

| Well I like yaoi so I'd go with MikaYuu. that's what I ship BUT it's not what's going to happen. they'll never choose the yaoi end and I don't really mind tbh. I like Shinoa a lot as a female character, which is pretty rare since I find lots of female characters irritating. I don't ship her with Yuu though. The probability of this ship happening is a lot higher. the manga hints at it as well. If it would happen, I wouldn't really mind I guess. (the fact that I like yaoi doesn't mean I can't ship straight couples) the best option would be if they just leave out the romance. I mean, the story is what counts and I just hope they'll go with no pairing. I don't think it's necessary at all. (maybe some side characters though) |

Yeah, but usually before that "cool down hug" usually happens when one side or both love is confirmed or there will more shipping moments or more episodes before that "cool down hug" happen. Here is just forced... I thought when Mika protected Shinoa from Yu this will be trigger to him, but it follows forced "girls hug boy and he come back to normal" so again forced ShinoaxYu ship with that moment. |

| I was honestly not planning on getting into this, but I'm sick and tired of it. If Yuu & Mika had been male & female, nobody would've had any problems with this ship and the entire fandom would've been rooting for them. No matter if the story asked for romance or not. But just because we think 2 male characters could be romantically interested in each other, we are being looked down upon, and are being called disgusting even. I do agree that shippers could ship 2 characters together for just looking at each other, but I don't think that's the case here. There are a lot of moments in both the manga & anime that show that both Mika & Yuu care deeply for each other, how you decide to interpretend that is up to you. If everything happening between Mika & Yuu is just "us seeing things" then Yuu x Shinoa should be more critically judged as well. Just because she has spent a few weeks together with Yuu her "canon" crush is more justified than the chemistry we see between Mika & Yuu? I do believe that's bullshit. My main point is that, the scenes shown between Mika & Yuu are scenes that would lead to canon pairings in romance manga/anime. Obviously this isn't one. So I won't disagree with people who don't acknowledge the ship because they don't think romance is needed for this type of anime. But I do have a problem with the people that call us gross just for liking 2 guys together. If you can have an opinion, so can we. The OP asked who we ship the MC with, and we just answered that question honestly. |

But then again, even if she was older I (as well as plenty of other people who like their platonic relationship as it is) still wouldn't ship them because of the point I stated. I probably forgot to mention, but my opinion on the ships shouldn't really represent the majority's. All I wanted to do was prove against the immediate assumptions made about the shippers. Hell, even though I don't really ship MikaYuu, I ship quite a lot of yaoi/yuri is it weird that I have a soft spot for Yuu x Yoichi? so why assume? |
