| So far, Yu and Mikaela have the best interaction. Yoichi is like the overly aggressive home wrecker who is coming between Yu and Mika. Kimizuki has some potential, though he's a bit to tsundere. The one ship I hope does not happen is Shinoa. The two have zero chemistry together. Any romance between Yu and her would seem shoehorned in. |

| I'm not a fujoshi and Shinoa is the only girl (still alive) on that list. I don't like Shinoa but it's better than a yaoi ship. edit: I guess Mitsuba's there too. idk, I don't like tsunderes either. |

| I voted for Mikaela because Shinoa and Yuu show no romantic attraction to one another and imo it would be OOC for Yuu to suddenly go all lovey-dovey with her. He wants revenge and that's the only thing on his mind, that and Mika. Besides, I dislike the stereotype male MC and female MC couple that has zero chemistry and happens just because both are MCs. All other characters would be too much of a stretch. At this point the only realistic couple would be Mika/Yuu but it's way too early to judge. |

I love Shinoa, but there's a fairly common trope for her to be shipped with Yuu and there doesn't seem to be much between them (not that I can't say the same for Mika lol), even if it's inevitable that it's most likely going to happen. But the manga makes it so obscure that I don't even care anymore. |

| Even though they have both great friendships, Mitsuba and Shinoa have no chance, it is cute tho, their crushes (& denial ofwhich) on Yuu. Guren and Yoichi both have brotp-tier friendships with Yuu, love it. Kimizuki and him have hilarious interaction, and prolly the least explored of the friendships of the shinoa squad w/ yuu, as in Shinoa/Yoichi/Mitsuba/Kimizuki (pick 1) x Yuu. Maybe even Mitsuba is least focused than him b/c she's the newest to the team, but I dunno, I think her scenes with Yuu are deeper so I'd put her slightly above him still. But all of them are great and meaningful friendships, no matter how much Mitsuba and Kimizuki attacks Yuu when he's being an idiot/dork (all the time!) Mikayuu always my favorite. Akane is kinda irrelevant tho tbh. Guren-Especially with ch33, I am loving the kinda brotp, nearly father-son, support thing they have going on. Yoichi is so cute though, after Mika, he's prolly my favorite to pair with Yuu (but then again, i rly only ship Yuu romantic with Mika, platonic basically w/ all the others), though these all are great shiping and interactions. Even Akane, her scenes in the first ep with him (the like one scene they were alone) I loved it. shame she irrel now. |

| People shipping Yuu with Shinoa just to have a straight pairing so it won't go the yaoi route that is called disguisting and bad taste is truly sad. Then again,he's the MC so he's shippable with any other character. Shinoa is objectively one of the best characters,but despite that her relationship with Yuu will never advance in romance terms probably. Like it or not,Yuu and Mika are made for each other. Not necessarily in a romance way of course but they have a really deep and strong bond. Mika is basically the only reason Yuu is living for (besides hurr durr killing all the vampires). |

| I would say with Mika but first I would need to see how they interact now that they are no longer kids, how their friendship evolved. I don't ship Yu with Shinoa but I'm not against it. As for Guren I see him as his father or big brother. |

| I ship Yuu/Mitsuba and Mika/Shinoa but don't think it'd go that way as Yuu/Shinoa is more likely to happen. Also, it seems that Yuu is starting to care for Shinoa more which most probably will turn into love. |

In my view as an asexual though, I think Mikaela and Yuu are more suited to each other. More so after reading the manga. Never really watched or read any Yaoi or BL so this is the first time I've ever really shipped two boys. Though I predict a good amount of c*ckblocking by Shinoa. True Love vs. The Troll! Shinoa is cute in her own way and I start to like Yu in the manga so either ship is fine by me. |
