| Woah epic chapter, the new captain commander has been chosen. Good thing it went to Kyoraku. Knew it all along that Unohana was the strongest and the most badass, can't wait til see what she can do. Hopefully an epic bankai. |

| HAHAHA teach Kenpachi the art of killing? E. P. I. C. Haha even Yamamoto didn't take training too far. Huge compliment that they are banking on Kenpachi to be able to make the difference between the destruction of Soul Society and its survival. Not only that, the fact they also think he won't be able to be stopped if he does power up and start a revolt shows his potential is REDONKULOUS. Clearly we now see the true reason as to why he's considered a special war potential alongside Ichigo and Aizen, not that we never understood it to an extent before! |
| What a great chapter i haven't been this excited for anything bleach related since the beginning of the aizen conspiracy. I hope Kubo doesn't troll the fandom again since things are finally looking up for bleach again. It may of took him a long time but the bleach universe is finally starting to coming together as one cohesive entity in this finale and I'm fucking excited. |

| I love how much of a freak Kenpachi is. I mean, to become the current Kenpachi he defeated the former one, and each Kenpachi is the strongest shinigami(aside from Unohana I'd safely assume) so for him to come off the street out of nowhere and actually kill the Kenpachi at the time, nice work! I wonder what his relationship with Unohana is though? I mean, he said he named Yachiru after the only person he ever CARED about. To actually care about her means there's some backstory to them. Can't wait to find that out too! |

| So Unohana is not only a kendo master but the 1st kenpachi. It'll be interesting to see her and Zaraki interact. I don't know how i feel about zaraki getting a power boost though. His power level was already over hyped and all his fights, excluding the last one, ended with him killing the enemy with one hit. Giving him a bankai is probably just going to allow him to continue his streak of boring one hit kill battles. |

| Very good chapter I like Shunsui, don't know why he still hasn't his eye healed though x). So this "very fishy" reason why they didn't take Zaraki is because of his incoming training(the thing when someone from the 0 division said to Unohana that there is something she has to do or should be doing). I like this better than fan-fiction writer's version ;]. Some things that bothered me. 1. So Okikiba lives? Man, you really have to be smashed into pieces to die in Bleach. 2. Yama tried to teach Zaraki the sword, but stopped after one day. << But yet because of that training he was able to defeat Noitora? 3. It was hint of Ichigo's 'amazing' speed? When Yakuza-dude punched him? It's kind of frustrating to see it only when Kubo remebers about it. Still: 4/5. |

And are the war potentials strictly down to the Shinigami side or can it be somebody else? Ishida is meant to have some uber power, and there's gotta be something up with Isshin too. During the Turn Back the Pendulum arc, wasn't she already Divison 4 captain? And Zaraki wasn't around then? He must be quite old to have a history with a woman who was in the Gotei 13 1000 years ago. It's funny how people are trying to make up reasons for Bleach being still bad when it's obviously getting pretty good, whether it's in the ratings (last 2 weeks it was in the top 5, this week it's in the 7th place) or the general opinions of people, or the actual content. It's also pretty ironic how people think Oda and Kishimoto were/are planning things out for a long time and Kubo isn't. (I know Kubo was just milking money in the last 2 arcs, but that doesn't necessarily mean he didn't have plans for Bleach's "last" arc) Though I'm still wondering why do people take it that seriously when it's supposed to be just entertainment.. Kubo obviously did a lot of planning - for example, Shinji was on one of first chapter covers, Aizen and Ichigo facing Juha Bach(or Soul King, its unclear since its just a black human-shaped shadow) was on the double-spread at the start of Fullbring arc, fishy-stuff about Badge was foreshadowed by Ishida at the end of SS arc, etc(I am sure I am missing some of that). Yet people still act all "NO WAI, ASSPULL" when it becomes relevant. While all it takes is Kishi using one throw-away name from few chapters ago(Madara) for the name of the supposed final villain and entire community starts praising his name. It seems, people just love to underplay it in Bleach due to the whole "omg trolling" fad that has been going on for past few years. Zaraki is the 11th Kenpachi of SS - that means there were 10 before him and Unohana most likely who STARTED the tradition of calling that position a Kenpachi - its quite obvious that Unohana is one of Yamaji's accomplices from Divisions-times. We do know that she is older than Shunsui and Ukitake, though. |
