| Last few years: Last 6 Months: Last Week: I listen to anything that sounds good, I go through phases of music. Though I never get over a certain genre, I still listen to Punk, Ska, Metal, etc. But right now I mostly listen to more laid back and mellow music. |

I think it's the only type of music that I do not particularly enjoy. Dupstep, to me, sounds like a bunch of overweight dudes humping each other in a very small room. If anyone listens to Dubstep, please tell me what's the appeal of this music. I mean I listen to songs with dubstep elements to it, but a song just entirely dubstep just makes my head crumble. Alright, back to LoL Eh most music sounds like that to be honest. Just a taste thing I believe. You have to admit the beats of humping whales really makes you want to dance. |

What my statement was meant to convey, is that I don't only listen to one genre, or dismiss a song if it doesn't fall under a certain genre... if I like it, I'll listen to it. I listed my two favorite genres (which I concluded were my favorites because my collection has more from those genres than from any other), but essentially this thread asks a question that is inherently flawed (although that is not the fault of the OP, as there is no way to classify music generally other than by genre). My true answer would be that I listen to what I believe to be good music, regardless of genre. I don't have a favorite genre. I don't prefer or dismiss certain music just because it does or does not conform to (or stray from) the parameters of genres it does or does not fall under. |

Top it off with some military pop in all seriousness, i listen mainly to alternative rock, math rock, some pop punk......and to top it off, punk hardcore.....yah kind of a big jump but hey this shit rocks to me |
