| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This felt like another waste. I'm left with this horrible feeling that all of the content could have been pulled off in 10 minutes and real progress in the plot could have actually been made this episode. Oh well. |

| If they had went all out with the fights then it would've been interesting. The BGM at the end with the chanting was pretty awesome though. Lol at Hisagi fighting without calling his shikai since he hasn't even revealed it yet in the manga. |

It's kinda nice to see that they all didn't just immediately abandon Ichigo and Rukia either. In the end, it's still filler, though I'd argue is insurmountably better than it has been lately. I was kinda pissed off watching Kira not just release while fighting those ninjas considering it probably would have sped that up quite a bit. |

Soul Society always has and always will be one big mess >_< LoL the squads are waaaaay too competetive , instead of working together like they SHOULD DO, what a noobs lol :p I liked the episode though, wasn't all that bad although it was a bit slow-going, way to go Kira, you did a hell offa job ! ^_^ Next week is gonna be cool.... Kira vs Kifune hopefully !! |

| Well the episode was okay, i'm looking forward to the Kira fight, but somehow i thinkg that fight will only conclude in ep 185 as imo it looks look in 184 they're gonna spend a lot of time explaining Kifune's motives. I bet 184 will end just as Kira releases. But i'm looking forward to Kira fighting |

| Like everyone else it was boring until Kira's fight, and the chanting and the BGM I really enjoyed...I can't wait for more. Doubt Kira will be able to handle Kifune..but hopefully he won't get wtfbbqowned |

| pretty good episode. my only complaint was that with the swords that get stronger based on eating the person. they made it sound before like there was a limited amount when they said that it was weird taht one family had 4 of them. but now all the ninja have them.... oh and that is some shitty ninja if with that power up kira was still able to beat them only getting hurt once and not even changing to shikai. |

| If Kifune gets Bankai that would be pretty sweet. I always thought that his swords power was pretty tough, especially if he uses it intelligently Also sets him up to be a captain should whats his face get written out like everyone thinks he will. Guess I will have to wait and see. |

Guess I will have to wait and see. There's no way he can become a captain, he's already effectively betrayed everyone in Soul Society, and it's a filler. The three primary filler characters (Kumoi, Amagai and Kifune) have to be killed or exiled. Kifune will likely die as he's the crazy evil bastard, same with Kumoi. Amagai will likely take his leave elsewhere and just leave Soul Society in the same fashion Isshin did if he isn't killed by Kifune. Then we're out of filler hell, and into the main story again. The reason I don't include Enyruu, Kenyruu or Lurichiyo is based on the fact that they're Soul Society royalty and don't generally step on the toes of anyone else so they are pretty much left to their own regards, perhaps to hop in at random filler episodes, or for a few filler moments in episodes to provide comic relief much like the Nova, Ririn and Cloud (the Mod-Souls from the Bounto arc). |

| actually, that episode was much much better than i expected. The sides split up by personality and depending on how much personal trust they had in Ichigo, the music was good (especially at the end), and the episode had what might be the first badass thing Kira has done. the animation did suck though. |

Kira's pretty good when he's serious ^__^ Really the only thing that still annoys me about this episode is the fact that if they're already Shinigami's and like already dead... then how come they can die again?? o_o... but I've been wondering that the entire series so ._. This arc is getting a little better IMO >.> |

| Well this was a pretty good episode, lots of fighting. And if you think about it, aren't all the shinigami like several hundred years old? If so why is their reasoning so simple? Wouldn't they be a little wiser? Just something that crosses my mind. Also wouldn't they be stronger? Heck Ichigo is bad ass and he has only had his powers for a year or so. Imagine what he will be like if he had several hundred years to train XD. Maybe the reason the commander is so stubborn is that he fears Ichigo's power and doesn't want to be spanked in the ass by someone like him. That would be funny. So he sends his subordinates out to get him instead. Anyways the arc looks like it is finally coming to a close. I'd say around 5 or 6 more episodes and then back to the main story line. WOOH! |

| This is a filler remember. They don't want to take chances in characterization here. Since the Commander has never rooted for Ichigo nor really been one to trust his judgement, they of course will keep to that and make him a real stick in the mud. Also, of course Ichigo is a special case, or have you missed the serveral dozens of episodes where everyone, be it Shinigami, Arrancar or Vizard, has been amazed (openly or secretly) at Ichigo's insane power growth. I think in terms of power Ichigo has reached a stop now that he obtained his Hollow powers. Instead, he will now grow stronger through experience, as he grasps the extension of his power through the cliched life or death battles shonen manga/anime are famous for. In my opinion whether or not Ichigo is potentially stronger than the Captains (or the Vizard for that matter) is a moot point. He may be "potentially" stronger, but as he is right now, the experienced Captains will make mince meat out of him, as will the Vizard (who all have more experience in using their Hollow abilities). Duly note the only Captains he has ever defeated were Byakuya and Kenpachi, the first through sheer luck and the second due to Kenpachi's lack of synch with his zanpakutou. Okay, I went through one hell of a digression there, case in point, this doesn't matter in the broad scheme of things anyway, moving on. |

| This episode was better then what I had expected. The small fights were semi-interesting, and the chanting music with Kira at the end was quite good. 4/5 from me. A bit of next episode looks like flashback. :| |

The fights were a little interesting (wasn't as boring as I thought they would be), and I actually sort of like filler!Princess. Shinigami Cup was awesome again. SHOEHAY, YES. ♥ |
