| Nothing :( (Not because "nothing is perfect", I'm quite willing to use the option since it is present, but rather because of my tastes and my normalization method) Last thing I rated a 9 though was NHK ni Youkoso. Due to alterations to my rating scales to reflect degrading entertainment from anime, I've now upgraded my three 9's to 10's. See: KGNE, NGE, NHK (In case you were wondering... novelty wore off, and seen most of the obscenely popular and thus more likely to be good anime, due to that I am rating more and more anime on a lower scale, and my 6-7's were being polluted with stuff that was 'good' but not really 'good' at all. The change to my rankings helps give more perspective on this.) |

| I rate based on enjoyment mainly with other factors in consideration sometimes Gungrave was my last 10 I think because I was surprised at how I was really pulled into the show and was not bored while watching it. Never had that happen to me before. I even avoided watching it for a long time because I read the description and thought I'd be bored watching it. At least when I finished it, I couldn't find any flaws with the show. It's like they did a perfect job with what they intended to do. The fact that I've avoided rewatching probably keeps those memories of it. All the reviews give it a 10 as well...why not go watch it? My other 10's may be based on excellent animation and setting (Ergo Proxy), nostalgia (DBZ, Kenshin), effects they had on me/being notable (Evangelion), or pure enjoyment (FMP) |
