Valve confirms credit card companies pressured it to delist certain adult games from Steam

Who knows...Maybe it's some weird attempt to keep kids from using their parents cards to buy this stuff? Personally I wouldn't want some credit card company knowing I bought a porn game to begin with, but that's just me. I might be over thinking that. If this is the intention, it's not going to stop people of any age from just pirating these games though, so really all it'd do is take money from devs. This is just speculation on my part.

Than these companies will be the next target for being stupid. First we have greedy AAA devs whom still hasn't learnt and will very soon learn they lesson such as Ubisoft and Gearbox Software and few more [although I don't know if Gearbox could be counted as AAA, they're similar to CDPR so I guess they would count]. Some companies learnt that pushing their agenda and propaganda won't sell a product ex. Dragon Age Veilguard, Assasin's Creed Shadows and Concord and many more. Now we have this and Stop Killing Games petition, I wonder what's gonna be next.
Now we have the forced ban on products just because they are 18+, I literally swear they are never learning... Absolutely never, I am surprised these people making those decisions got in theirs position considering how stupid choices they make.

@Zettaiken you have gog galaxy which is a launcher created by cd projekt and they offer no drm for games in whcih then you can download offline installer of the game you own in your libary on your website and also many visual novels got uncensored release on gog unlike steam like saya no uta is fully uncensored on gog

Tbh I don't care cause I don't have adult games on steam/other platforms, nonetheless it doesn't mean I am gonna be positive about such movements.

Well, apparently Steam just removed a large amount of adult games. Hey look, the thing people said not to worry about is happening, what a surprise. And days before a feminist group from Australia was apparently demanding Steam to do this also, and people keep saying they don't target games. Ha.
