| Kyle made his mind to get stronger after all. It looks like he wants to avoid whatever that dark future he saw before. Episode also introduced Urza although I'm not sure how to feel about her character yet. Kyle is still the main focus here and this story follows his journey. I wish they gave Kyle a better personality. The guy is way too straightforward and all business. |

| 4s4ki's OP is alright, nothing special at all...as is Mahiru Coda's ED. Kyle getting the training he needs, and Liese just being jealous that he's after a girl (same likewise with Theron), his master Layla sure is laying the foundation thick for him to understand the world around him and become a hero quick. And it wouldn't be a journey without people accompanying him along the way, and a farewell kiss and reassurance to Liese that Kyle would come back alive. However, meeting the elf of Eksess Urza, coincidentally almost creates quite the harrowing scene for Kyle and Liese, not to mention the history they had in the previous timeline as lovers. In this new timeline, however, everything is reset, so Kyle has to make do of reassurances to Urza the elementer with the Application of the Contract, which can only be done in a full moon. Together with both Lieze and Theron, Kyle's material may not prove effective, but in the right hands, can reveal hidden treasure. And just like all men with ulterior motives, Theron wanting to spy on the girls' bathing sure is one, though Kyle will always be the serious one for his hero business, which the treasure trove of money they found, exposes Theron's true heart, and the hidden sword that Kyle has been finding all this while...converted into a girl. Yeah, there's just too many moving parts for now, so hopefully we'll get some time for breathers as and when. |

Anyone who thought classic fantasy was boring is in for a pleasant surprise. This series is definitely showing it has a lot to offer.
Kyles relentless determination to avert the dark future he is seen is truly the heart of the series. It is incredibly compelling to watch him strategically lay the groundwork to become a true hero. His straightforward nature and clear focus are refreshing making him the ideal center for this engaging story.
The team dynamics are both amusing and exciting! Lieses charming jealousy and Therons playful quirks add just the right flavor to the adventure. But the real highlight is the encounter with Urza. Since Kyle clearly knows her from his future timeline this dynamic opens up a new dimension of depth and complexity giving his decisions entirely new weight. You can tell this is far more than a simple heros tale.
The hunt for the hidden treasure is brilliantly executed. Instead of getting caught in the old labyrinth full of deadly traps and tricky puzzles they take a refreshingly pragmatic approach this time: they simply dig a tunnel. This clever shortcut perfectly suits Kyles straightforward personality. And his swords transformation? Absolutely fascinating!
Even though the series uses a familiar fantasy framework it is told with such engaging storytelling that you just have to keep watching. I cant wait to see what other surprises Kyles journey has in store. And honestly that OP song is still a total banger.

| I think I'm good lol. I really do not care enough about this show to keep watching from here. I don't like the red-haired girl, the blonde guy is kind of annoying too, and this all just feels really similar to the usual fantasy anime you end up seeing every season. I saw one guy defending this and saying that people who think this is generic fantasy anime trash are in for a surprise, but I doubt that. I'd love to be proven wrong though! But for now I think I'll either put this on hold or maybe even drop it. I'll give it like maybe one more episode if I'm even slightly interested enough a week from now. |

| What the hell is this even about? It's just a bunch of generic anime teenagers talking. The MC rattles off his lines without a whiff of emotion. Why is the soundtrack ELEVATOR MUSIC ?? How is this so boring? Who greenlit this crap? |
Great episode, the jokes from the original are preserved when compared to the manga, I'm used to the new design too, how great Kyle and his friend are if they keep the story as it was, will be seen in the future. |
| Bro is using foreknowledge to fast track and cheat his way to becoming the hero. But this made for a dead boring episode. Honestly it's a pretty bad move if you are trying to get people to read/watch your story. Another point against this is that Kyle is just too perfect. A flawless character is a boring character. One more episode left to convince me, though I am already leaning towards dropping it. |

| This episode went by pretty fast. While Kyle is showing signs that something is off with him according to his friends and family, I wonder when he'll come forward and admit that he came back from 4 years in the future, perhaps after he has done a couple more things that shows he knows more than he should. Regarding Liese and Urza, the former has brute strength and the latter has magical power, and they both seem to have had relationships with Kyle, I'm thinking a rivalry may form between them but I hope they continue to get along regardless. |

You forgot the part where Lieze and his mom were killed when the demons started their invasion in the original timeline sending Kyle on a quest for revenge. Along the way, he somehow got into a relationship and married Eksis which would pretty much be legitimate because his relationship with his childhood friend Lieze never developed. Since he's no longer on a quest for revenge but rather on a quest to prevent the tragic events he's now between a situation where he's going to choose between his established future wife Eksis or his current girlfriend who didn't die. Kuh kuh kuh... I love this subplot. |
