Damn, Silk looked like in a lot of pain this episode. In typical fashion, the OP song is played during that fight. Yuke carried that battle a bit like usual but he definitely had help from his party members too. Tears were shed but they got the job done. Truly though, this party really took on their adventures in the most fantasy way possible. Season 2 announced https://twitter.com/Aparidaofficial/status/1938996816412098684 |

The uncle-cousin pair having to deal with yet another Abyss Gate in Tenebre, this could very well be the end of the journey for someone. Saga and Clover reaching Tenebre, which the former apologizes for luring him into the world of adventuring since the day his village was ruptured by the culling, and the monsters themselves testing Clover of all their skills and might to work together to defeat the dragon. And despite the harsh conditions, Clover has finally done it, though at the cost of his Uncle Saga's loss. However, that's not the end, as someone HAS to close the Abyss Gate, and Yuke volunteering himself only earns the worries of the girls. For someone who spent 10 years trying to find a solution to this, Saga ultimately having no choice but to pass this critical role to Yuke. Ultimately, Rune's Wish overriding Yuke's Scroll of Exit to bring Clover out of Tenebre, and the Golden Priestess's parting wishes to each and every one of them with hurting feelings like they're lost one of their very own, it's quite the devastation. Still, with Clover defeating the Achromatic Darkness, and being able to have a funeral for Saga, as well as revisit Mastoma (with the backdrop of Silk being Salmutaria's princess), they're all official Dungeon Counts, with romance and all, with Rain securing another one of her kisses onto Yuke lol, as expected. A decent ending after all's said and done? Surprise, surprise...but the journey's not over yet, with Season 2 on the horizon! That's an EVEN BIGGER SURPRISE... https://x.com/Aparidaofficial/status/1938996816412098684 |

Think we all came into this for the Mushoku parody cast, then stayed when we saw it was a solid story in its own right. The Simon arc in the first half was easily the best part of the show, but I enjoyed it throughout. This finale was so good, I almost cried. I’m kind of surprised to see this getting another season though, 40 episodes of this before 86 season 2 blows my mind 😭 So we finally reached the abyss gate, literally everything Yuke has worked towards in his life, but at what cost! I can’t believe they really killed off my boy Saga, as soon as he got reunited with Yuke after all these years. That’s so cruel, but I like how this wasn’t afraid to have deaths and not give everyone happy endings all the time. He went out like a hero and without sacrifice, they don’t close the door. Such a sucker for the OP playing during big climax scenes. Prismatic missile was insane! Rune sacrificing herself to close the gate is breaking me man. I really wanted her to be happy with Yuke and the gang after they saved her in the last arc. I know she said seeing them happy together was all she wanted, but you know she wanted to be with em too. 😞 it would be so cool if she actually got isekai’d to our earth and writes Yuke and the girls’ story as a Light Novel since she wants to be an author. So that was a really good finale, Yuke’s one of the best harem protags you’ll see and I enjoyed his relationship with all the girls. Just needed more Jamie focus 😭 loved her sm. I’ll be on the lookout for season 2. |

Should have known Rune was gonna be that kind of character damn. But her father and uncle left her in their care and they failed them. Saga also dead, guy just popped out of nowhere and then dies. Also he wasn't Yuke's biological uncle and took him in after his village was gone. Anyway decent magic fantasy anime, not sure if I want to watch more as this felt like a good place to end the story. But hey we got s2 so will be there to watch it. Next up Silk's arc. |

So Yuke was not born a 'chosen one' he was made the hero through his encounters with dark magic. That gate-culling-dragon thing began the creation of its own nemesis when its darkmagic/stalker touched Yuke when he was a child. Termites! I HATE termites. 'You hurt my waifu, I take you lifu.' Saga sacrifices his life, painfully" 'good man uncle.' Rune sacrifices her temporary location to go to another world, with a variety of possible results there: *overwhelming flood of tears* 2nd season is going to start out in Dark Elf Land. Season rating: 8, substantially on the quality of the harem even if lacking originality. Would have given it a 9 if they had keep the level of romancing and eechiness of the manga. I though Persephone and her mark were going to played a bigger role in the story and finale, but maybe they will next season. |

6:20 oh crap Silk 🫢 10:00 Yuke’s uncle 😢 11:00 the whole harem hugging Yuke 🤭 14:30 RUNE NO! 🫢😭 21:30 RAIN WITH YET ANOTHER KISS TO SEAL THIS SEASON FINALE! 🤣🙌🏻 THAT ENDING! SEASON 2?!! 😯🙌🏻 My 19TH AND FINAL WINTER 2025 anime finished! 🙌🏻❄️ Winter anime finally officially over for me with this. This was an enjoyable watch. Once again, I enjoy these types of animes where the MC leaves/gets kicked out of a shitty hero party and creates his own harem/party way better than before 🤣 First half was getting rid of Thunder Pike. Second half was truly Yuke and his party. Rain really jumped the gun and stole the show man. I was not expecting that at all. The other girls had their moments too. Poor Rune 🥲 I was not expecting this either. The animation in this anime is amazing too, especially during fight scenes. Based on that last scene, season 2? 👀 “to be continued” EDIT: YES SEASON 2 IS ANNOUNCED! CRAZY! 🙌🏻 |

Ok so let's me state a fact, a story like this (which is not bad by the way), will usually get just one cour with poor animation. But somehow this anime get two cours with decent animation, and even a second season announcement? Or maybe it's actually me that get used to seeing the source material get treat like trash by anime adaptation, so when I see the anime that get a better treatment, I'm in disbelief myself. |

PREPARE YOUR ANUS, FREAKIN' MONSTER!!! Yeah... We knew that was going to happen: But were we prepared for this one? I immediately understood why she always bowed in the ED: Not surprised we are getting a second season. We need more of Jamie after all. There wasn't any "Jamie time", even though there was some in the manga But still, you know who's the number one: |

A nice-enough middle of the road show. I'll probably check it out for another season, but if I'm being honest I don't really see much of a need for it to continue. They'll have to do something pretty special from the outset to keep eyeballs on it. |

Saga’s death was done so bad. “We did it guys, we killed the monster 😃” “Uncle Saga 😭” “It’s the Abyss Gate, my goal all along 🥰. Thanks everyone” All 3 in less than 30 seconds is crazy. The change up is way too fast |

I enjoyed it from start to finish, all the girls were super cute, the fights were fun, the animation quality was solid thru the whole season, I liked a lot the OP and I liked Yuke, he isn't a wimp nor an obnoxious horny character, just a bit oblivious and he was just a nice guy but there was even at least 1 clear and solid relationship with one girl. There are too many shows I would rather get a second season instead of this one but hey, I'll take it. Best girls = Marina and Jamie. |

Glad there will be a second season, considering the hint was given at the end, Silk and meeting her father, apparently will be the second official wife, I liked it, although in the first arc felt fast pacing, further on to me very good. |

Man, I really liked this anime. Story well tied, has romance development, the girls are very charismatic and closed this arc very well. Honestly I didn't even feel the need for a second season, but I don't complain because it's already Confirmed. In this sea of vegan protagonists, yuki is a little more proactive, very little, but it's a relief. Rain was the most aggressive and made the romance move, so it deserves full credit... Even though my best girl is Jamie. Rating 7/10 I'll be waiting for s2 |

A weird fantasy harem anime. Unlike other fantasy anime, this anime doesn't explain on how things work. How Samurai class is rare, why Marina is a Sword Mage but can't use magic, what does the lv of magic means and what's the max level, how many class can a person have, how many people a party can have, what is the Camerat thing is it object or living thing and can anyone set it up, what's uncle Saga doing all this time and why does he look young? Is it because he went throught time leap like Yuke? With many unexplained things, it failed to make me interested in the world, seems like the anime purpose is just to introduce new girl in every arc. With that amount of girls, this anime has barely any fanservice.. Why they didn't show Yuke kissing every girls? The only fanservice is that Jamie's outfit in the opening get more sexy as the story progress. Maybe because her barely screen time, seems like she changed her outfit several times to compete with other girls lol. These kicked out from party anime are becoming more prevalent, will it be a new theme like villainess anime? Overall just okay even disappointing. Surprised this got next season with that episode count, will next season has same count too? Silk's hometown is coming! |

Yawn. Lame ending, "no Rune don't do this boo hoo, well we all cried for 5 minutes. Rune wanted us all to be happy so let's keep this harem going, we'll never forget your sacrifice...what's her name, oh and Yuke's cousin too. Uncle...oh yeah him too. Now kiss me Yuke! Me, too X 4" 9_9 And a 2nd season? No thanks. I don't care if they are going to the dark elf village. This show started out pretty decent but just got lamer and lamer the longer it went on. 5/10 |

KANLen09 said: The uncle-cousin pair having to deal with yet another Abyss Gate, alongside Clover, and yet, the monster figure gives Yuke and the girls their biggest challenge yet. Saga having to sacrifice his life to succumb to the Tenebre, it's quite the loss for the cousin and the party that they have to concede to to pass through the Abyss Gate. Yet, as the girls try their best to reassure Yuke to get the Scroll, instead uses Rune to bring them back to the town, while she deals with the Abyss Gate with her fate as the Golden Priestess. Even then, Rune will not forget how Yuke and Clover defintely has made her life better when she was alive. Clover on their own expedition, it's off to the far lands for their next part of the journey! A decent ending after all's said and done? Surprise, surprise... And a Season 2, that's an EVEN BIGGER SURPRISE... https://x.com/Aparidaofficial/status/1938996816412098684 I agree even though rune the golden priestess sacrifice herself but on the other hand she is reincarnated and will meet clover again maybe . And what a great ending even if saga had to sacrifice himself but in truth it needs to be done for the sake of their word and finally great ending but i feel the anime ending is a cliff hanger and suprise supirse their is another season but anyways can’t wait |

Honestly this was a pretty good fantasy anime with some decent worldbuilding and execution. Not gonna lie, the first 3 or so episodes I was really tempted to drop this anime because of the amount of uncanny glazing the girls had for Yuke. They definitely toned it down by a lot as the show went on and it shifted more of its focus on the adventuring part With Yuke, I actually appreciate how he doesn't just completely forgot about his old party and view them as nothing but trash not worth looking back on. Yea, they were obviously not good people, and even Jamie to a lesser extent. However I believe, despite how negative things got for Yuke towards the end when he quit the party, there was definitely A LOT of times where him and his time at Thunder Pike was joyous and fun. Where they all had spirits at the tavern and made merry. I do think it's funny that the author blatantly has a favorite girl amongst everyone, that being Rain, as I did prefer Jamie more. However all of the girls were honestly a joy to watch, and its fun to see a harem anime where they are all dere dere right from the start. I do wish we had a more focus on the harem elements and had some more individual intimate scenes with everyone. Plus I do think having 18+ Ecchi in the anime would have made it a lot better. Not To Love Ru levels, but it would have been nice to see some really spicy scenes still Overall a surprisingly good watch, and I look forward to season 2 ! |

For a final boss that fight was over pretty quickly. So I started watching this because I was intrigued by the idea of live streaming dungeon delving. However that wasn't really explored all that well and at best it was a side note. Then I kept watching because I wanted to see Thunder Pike get their comeuppance and that was somewhat satisfying. After that I kept watching from force of habit and here we are now. Overall it was ok, the animation was decent and the waifus were cute, so no complaints there. But the story was kind of lackluster and it wasn't something I awaited each week with anticipation. To put it another way, if I needed to cull my watchlist then A-Rank would have been on the chopping block. However it is going to get another season so I might check it out when it arrives, though given the disappointment I felt with this season I will be viewing it with a critical eye. |

The last few episodes were definitely the weakest. The show's primary strength is the worldbuilding, storytelling, and group strategy, and the last couple episodes just sort of...happened. No real story development or explanation, the big bad was just a generic dragon for no reason which died in seconds, no party mechanics, no dungeon mechanics, the fights were a combination of bad and short with no buildup or strategy...a disappointing end. |

this anime had its ups and downs i guess, at the start it was interesting then it got boring then again it got interesting then again it got boring, the end was interesting anleast, the characters were fine, why did yuke have romantic feelings toward the most childlooking like character idk, there were plenty more characters suited for that role but wtv, but the most obvious problem in the anime was that the world was going to end twice, the first time they saved the world it didn't even feel right you're teling me that the mc got his dream and saved the world in the first 12 ep of the series? the buildup was too fast for that kind of crazy but ok then they saved the world again in the last 24 ep? these guys saved the world back to back, how are they even strong enough?? they never did some special training or anything, and this thing is getting a season 2 i just hope that in the second season the world isn't going to end because it's too boring atp. |

Part of me still holds out hope that Saga made it through somehow. If there was something keeping him young all those years, maybe(just maybe)that same force protected him in the end. I’m also really wishing Rune’s story isn’t over. I know she talks about wanting to be reborn as a writer in her next life, but deep down, she still longs for more joyful moments with Yuke and her older sisters. T_T All the girls have their charm, but Jamie definitely steals the spotlight for me. Her sharp comebacks whenever Yuke starts flirting crack me up every time. (Okay, and let’s be real: her battle outfit definitely didn’t hurt her ranking in my book. lol |

it was nice, I knew rune was gonna do that! but felt a bit weird I guess when Saga died because for the same attack without a barrier, Silk was able to endure it but with a shield and that culling's 3rd~4th of the same attack it killed Saga, that doesn't make sense! |

So we finally reached the abyss gate, literally everything Yuke has worked towards in his life, but at what cost!

@Marinate1016 You get it man, we really need more Jamie, she deserves more love (Rain is still my number 1 tho). One thing I had been thinking for a while now, since this is how harem fantasies usually go, was that at some point the story was going to somehow manage to make Rune into a legal wife for Yuke lmao. Now that Rune's in another world there we have it. My bet is that at some point further in the story she will come back older because of some time-space shenanigans or whatever. Just a theory, but my trashy fantasy sense is tingling. |

Just watched the final episode. It was a decent conclusion and I guess it made sense that Rune had to be the one from a story standpoint. I'm a little underwhelmed by the uncle though. He shows up just to get killed, very little build up, just happens. Kinda surprised this was getting an S2 since I just assumed the 2nd cour was it. Very surprised by that. It does however make me wonder if maybe this season really needed a break at ep12, because it seemed like everything after that felt like the studio wasn't expecting to do this 2nd cour. Nonetheless, it was a good show and I wonder how it'll turn out in the long run. |

that Saga's sacrifical was hmm, it might be too severe to be healed by anyone, even when Rain want to heal Silk, there is some difficulties well ,since season 2 had been announced, it might start from the Clover's visit to Silk's hometown and how the villagers welcome them. but i did hope that at some point of the story, they had to travel different world to find Rune, haven't read the source material though. |

Noooo, I thought this absolute garbage was finally over. It's already 2 cour and it's getting more? I watch pretty much every fantasy/isekai anime and this is easily one of the worst I've finished. It does absolutely nothing interesting and loops the exact same plot points over and over. It's a lot like strongest tank kicked from the heroes party which is also pretty terrible but at least it had some semblance of actually fights and had city building. This show had zero growth outside of increasingly difficult dungeons. Same skills same routine same MC self-sacrificing against his parties wishes. Who the hell ordered 3 or 4 cours of this garbage? |

Seems fitting this trashfire of an adaptation ends with an exposition dump "here's all the stuff we left out of the anime" to set up the next season. Not even the first time it's done that. |

Bruh this episode was absolutely heartbreaking seeing not only Saga die but then Rune's sacrifice in closing the gate :{ I hope that Rune isn't dead, and somehow comes back to Clover.... But we finally got to see Yuke achieve his goal of reaching the abyssal gate but as previously mentioned at a heavy cost to him. Besides this crazy and sad final episode, this whole season took me by surprise. I was thinking this would be another sloppy anime with an OP MC and harem, yet I could not be more wrong about my initial assumption. This show was a hidden gem and a really good watch that I hope people find over the years as I don't see much talk about this at the moment. Yuke and Clover were an enjoyable party to watch grow throughout their adventures and see their bonds develop (deeply for Rain especially) over the course of this anime. I cannot wait for the next season to drop, as I need more of this...and hopefully to see Rune again. Making the full 7th leaf Clover again. |

i didn't like how the writer killed off saga in the most meaningless and pointless way after they were done using him. sure they needed a dilemma for the door drama climax but i felt they could've did something else with it. And also how they just assumed Niberune had "died and was reborn" like that without any verification. Sure they all didn't have to go but i felt if they truly loved each other as much as they claimed they would've just went together and rolled the dice hoping they'd chance upon one of the more peaceful worlds. over all this anime is just average with nothing really stand out but just entertaining enough to spend time on. |

Meh episode. If only fates of Saga and Rune hadn't been entirely too tired and predictable. All that crying was making me ill. Would have been a much better ending if Yuke closed the gate, but then i guess there would be no season two. Unless it was him forming a new harem in some new world. That would be cool. Cooler than what we got. |

The show had a bit of untapped potential, and though I liked how seemingly pure rpg adventure it was at the beginning, that flare began to wear off before the halfway point with all the talking and overly needless exposition. Plus the MC choosing the most underage looking, under developed member of his group...le nay. Intro song was hyped and overal the show was enjoyable at times, but it just felt like it dragged on longer than needed. Which is ironic because usually I want more shows to have more episodes than just a dozen. But it just goes to show that plenty of shows that could be longer, sadly are not, and for whatever reason, some shows should have been kept short and sweet for good reason...lol 6/10. Hopefully season 2 kicks things up a bit. |
