AbemaTV streams this a week early. Episode is fine even though the goddesses in these type of shows all seems to have the same type of personalities. The main guy Takumi Iruma gets the alchemy skill which turns out to be far more than what he bargained for. Not much else to say as their world contains the typical fantasy stuff including the usual creatures. Iruma better get used to his skill..although I guess it shouldn't be hard given what alchemy can do in this show. |

ABEMA Early Weekly Airing. Novelist Maru Kogitsune's series is a return to the "Am I the Greatest" shitck found in all of Isekai. Can be fun, let's see. DIALOGUE+ is nostalgic news, and this OP...is kinda OK. Same goes with harmoe's ED. The nobody of Takumi Iruma being mixed up with the summoning of heroes towards the fantasy world of Asgard, Mildgard, in the Holy Sidonia Empire, to then be offered any skill he wishes from the Goddess of Lady Nolyn (which conspicuously IS Aqua's VA Sora Amamiya of KonoSuba fame) as compensation (and adding her blessing of protection), with the jobs being offered just like any game-like RPG is a starting point alright. From figuring out what he can do, to saving a girl out of trouble from monsters, and learning as he goes. The chosen heroes, on the other hand, get their standard Isekai-summoned introduction at the Holy Sidonia Empire, and this is only the start of their troubles. Takumi meeting hunter Banga and his wife Martha by bringing their daughter Molly back to the village where she came from, and already he's making his fame and reputation known by becoming the alchemist and blacksmith he wanted to be by helping fellow blacksmith Bobon with the fusing of different ores into ingots, but too much mana usage can literally dry him to death. But to come across a Huge Armored Boar stronger than him, and an injured Poison Spider missing a part of its legs to help Takumi a bit to help defeat it, it eventually stuck with him taming it, thinking of him as a friend and naming it Maple with its evolution into a Killer Spider, and the village benefits from his endeavors once more bringing the boar back for a celebration. And to think that Takumi's summoning was a year before the actual hero summoning, what gives of the world-building going forward? This is a start alright, it's decent. |

Except the "sent one year before the actual summon happened", everything is business as usual for isekai anime. |

The first episode establishes a classic isekai premise, with the protagonist being transported to another world and gaining special abilities. In terms of narrative, the episode quickly sets up the setting and the protagonist’s objectives. However, the story could delve deeper into Takumi’s motivations and better explore the world around him, avoiding common clichés of the genre. |

There are a lot of so-so isekai in the current season... Well, artwork is there at least. Some logic, I guess. It's nothing so far. But it's not disgusting either. It's worth watching the next few episodes. The first one is a practical standard run. It's like entering the game menu. Hopefully the secondariness will end and there'll be something. |

Ah, so this is the kind of Isekai where they acknowledge the existence of Isekai and are aware of the premise... I love those, so much potential for meta humor. Poor guy, summoned to another world because a God made a mistake- I can think of a few protagonists that can relate, lol. Always enjoy a nice, light hearted Isekai and I hope this is the one for this season. Probably won't be spectacular, but its something I can enjoy. Looking forward to next week |

@Jigglephysic If Im being honest that's probably just something they do so the Main Character has someone to interact with and we, the viewers, don't get board by the MC just speaking in monologues. At least when he has someone to have dialogue with, the scene feels more watchable. That's probably why they make the animals talk, if I had to guess |

I basically picked this one because I knew DIALOGUE+ would be doing the OP lol, the premise sounded like it could be fun but it wasn’t one that jumped out at me when I was picking Winter 2025 shows, but you give me DIALOGUE+… I come running lol, always love hearing this group in an anime season, not sure how I’d pair it with their past songs yet but I do really liked it, and it’s not their only OP/ED this season either. I also really liked harmoe’s ED, I’ve only heard them in two other shows but they make cute and catchy songs, I still hum “Love is a Potion” often lol, and the visuals of the waifus were quite tasteful, they’re definitely something I’m looking forward to in this show. And as for the episode itself, it was the typical Isekai start, our MC Takumi got sent to another world and quickly started getting abilities and skills, and in the process befriended villagers and got himself a spider companion, and the spider is definitely cute too, I don’t mind that it talks really, although I thought it would become a waifu at first lol, looks like that may not be the case. There’s an interesting thing happening with the plot in this one tho with Takumi being sent to the past while the chosen ones are in the present, I can see some cool things happening with that. But overall this seems like it’s gonna be more of a chill Isekai show, if so I’ll be happy but I’m down to see if Takumi’s alchemist path brings in some action too. |

When the villager said "Everyone knows you can't tame insect monsters", clearly he doesn't know much about biology, as spiders are not insects. I have a feeling the author had this misconception and this "insect taming" is just supposed to show the protagonist is special. But a bit more homework wouldn't have hurt. |

It also reminds me a lot of "A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring", same preamble. If the local mc-kun has more balls than his counterpart, it would be more interesting. |

Typical Isekai anime. Music is ok, pacing, characters and power scaling is all pretty typical as well. Next few episodes will really determine strength of the show. |

@Trivia-man-Frank Nah, she explained it was this Empire that used the summoning spell, so she patched things up so they can't use it anymore.. but now can't send him back either. Anyhow, I think it's fine so far. Felt like they made a funny jab at the other isekais when the goddes was like "I could send you to the Empire but you would be mistreated as you are an accidental summon". |

Seemed a bit generic, but I did like the humor. I also liked how the female summoned hero picked right up on how shady Elizabeth REALLY is. I took one look at that Empress & distrusted her on sight. She looked slightly high & definitely shifty. But so many other things were straight up MMO derived. Oh well, it's to go to the existing template I suppose. |

It was fine. The MC isn't infuriatingly dumb like the Parry dude from last season so it's already on the better side of generic. I'll count this as one of the filler turn your brain off shows between watching the big ones this season. |

EP 1 talking 4.5 mins of talking the op song is slightly ok i guess more talking building intensifies uh its kind of funny because i was literally reading about these topics recently ... hmm convenience So honestly speaking I initially planned on skipping this Looking at ep 1 it really isnt very good Its not completely terrible the problem is its just ep 1 syndrome and theres really very little reason The OPED shows a few girls although realistically who knows whats gonna happen in a week or so The OP song is slightly above average(?) and thats about it |

Yup, generic isekai anime right here but tbh, I quite enjoyed that first episode. The MC, Takumi is funny and quite vibrant too. I like the way he is OP and creative plus he knows that he is OP. Looking forward to the 4 female MCs showing up. They all look pretty cute and pretty. I'm definitely sticking to this one. Edit: The animation is surprisingly good. I thought Comet was gonna be Polygon Pictures or Seven Arcs terrible but I was wrong. Nice job. |

Norn has a better character design than Aqua... lmao I'd rather have Norn than the drunkard Aqua. MC has a very generic personality and voice actor, in a sense where there's yet to be something that would make him standout... probably. MC: "I don't want any fighting jobs, that leaves me with production jobs" MC: *accidentally killed a big rabbit* MC: *acquired a fighting job* lols P.S. The Character design is good, because, fortunately, the animation is solid and smooth. My current expectations: 9/10 |

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

that was very generous of the goddess to give him some really OP-ish skills. the other girl summoned with the guys was gifted with a good skill, and although she didn't hear the goddess's warning to our MC, her instinct activated a good skill for her to use & she was right to not trust that woman. will her path cross with our MC's i wonder. |

Close enough, welcome back Aqua. It’s not the most original story is it? But the fact it’s self aware of itself and able to make fun of common isekai tropes means this has the potential to be fun. Takumi’s alchemy ability has some interesting possibilities and most importantly, the girls look cute. Sending him back one year in the past instead of to present day is also an interesting development. We’ll see where it goes, again low expectations but first ep wasn’t bad. |

As a manga reader, I guess it will go past it since Mani hasn't arrived yet. So I guess the LN has Takumi sent a year before the summoning while the manga sends him 3 years before. I don't think the manga tackled Akane, Elizabeth and the others. I'm surprised the subs call her Maple instead of Kaede like the manga. Shougo Sakata is already eating it in his role as Takumi. I didn't know DIALOGUE+ does the OP, it'll probably take a few weeks to get me warmed up over it or not. Of course like in the manga, Takumi makes women's clothes also as shown in the ED. I wonder how Takumi got the god/goddess wings? I love how Martha became wary whenever Takumi because he might overwork himself. |

I loved the first episode! I'm really curious if anyone has read the original? Because, as the commenter above wrote in the manga Takumi was moved to a new world 3 years before he was isekaed and I have my doubts about whether it made sense for manga adaptation to stretch out the plot, but maybe I'm wrong. I think it was the anime's writer who shifted the time frame from 3 years to a year to fit everything nicely into 1 season. |

Nolyn's super support is awesome. Takumi already has a versatile skill set and a great place to call home. I can't neglect to mention that reveal of her sending him into the past one year before the hero summoning. She must have really disliked this extra work that holy sidonia empire left for her to deal with. Also Akane's first skill being a blaring warning that she's in trouble is wild. I can't help but wonder what exactly that empress has in store for the heros. |

They took so much inspiration from Konosuba for the scene before the OP, they even had Aqua's VA in the role of the clumsy/silly goddess, haha loved it. Other than that, it genuinely looks like a really fun slice of life isekai. It's only the beginning and we haven't met yet the cute female cast but I already love the MC, his pet spider and the villagers! The story about the empire, sending him back into the past and the guys summoned from our world... are all intriguing facts for sure, I imagine it will play a role in the later stages of the show. Was not expecting anything coming into this one, but it looks like it has some solid writing and voice acting, so I'm looking forward to the rest of the series :) |

i like the characters, beside the goddess. Takumi isn't a battle junkie who's overconfident with his OP skills and the villagers are nice folks where they welcome the outsider and made him a home. Takumi shares a boar's meat together and a comment between villagers that Takumi's presence made the village brighter are just wholesome moments. nice episode...for an isekai |

@Adverrito Um... For a village in the pre-industrial era, this was the norm. And, yes, you would hardly rush to build a house overnight. In reality, it would normally take a peasant community about a week to build a house. With magic, they could do it in an evening. The surprising thing is that they accepted him into the community so easily. And hospitality, like letting him stay the night, was a normal practice. |

@FutoiOtaku Same problem. All bugs are a type of insect, but not all insects are bugs Spiders belong to the class Arachnida. They are not insects or bugs, but those mistakes are commonly made due to looking insect-like. |

In common use Japanese spiders ARE bugs, hedgehogs are needle rats, platypus are duck beaks, etc. Your over-critical thinking is not relevant to a Japanese speaking medieval type villager. Being elitist by calling people out for normal speech is ridiculous, the ‘error’ is in the translation, not the original writing. |

My this was a first episode with alot going in quite a high tempo. Wish we could see more of him trying to figure out things, because it seemed like he knew how to do everything from the get go. Oh well, i ended up enjoying the episode non the less, and will be looking forward to seeing how the story will build up (though the end seems to give quite clear hints as to the direction it will head). I wonder if Takumi could hear the spider talk, or if that was just a treat for us viewers. He didn't seem to really react to any of it |

An unpromising anime, just delivering the classic and basic isekai that has been repeated over the years Well, this first episode shows the protagonist being summoned "accidentally" by a mistake, and because of that he reincarnates in this world, where he gains blessings and everything... which is strange that the protagonist doesn't want fighting skills, maybe in next episodes he has this thought that he will need this, well let's wait until then. |

@LacingMaster didnt know building a home for an homeless outsider in preindustrial era was considered a norm, thought they would just let him stay the night at best. Anyway, what stood out to me was less about realism in the fantasy setting but how wholesome it was to see the villagers accepting him into the community. |

Not a terrible start. Interested enough to keep watching I guess. I want to see what exactly the Goddess has planned for MC, like why did she send them a year before the others were summoned? And they told the summoned heroes to not trust that queen or whatever? Seems a bit off. Maybe she's counting on MC helping the heroes when they get there in some way. |
