The big showdown between Kenichirou and Marito baby! In vain, the true treasure rushes forth, as the one-on-one battle between Kenichirou, the head of the Minato Association, and Marito, the head of the Siguma Squad, begins. However, the NG BOYS, aiming to take advantage of the situation, start to make their move, plunging into a battle against the Siguma Squad and the Minato Association. The conflict between the three teams, and the fate of Arajin and Senya's training, unfold. In this situation, Arajin was quite active in the fight, but it felt like there wasn't a clear goal or purpose driving it. Senya, on the other hand, didn't seem too bothered about anything except increasing the combination rate, almost like he's eyeing a takeover. This leaves the main story well kinda uncertain I don't know. Mahoro really stood out this time as the MVP with her unwavering determination, which was pretty awesome to see. The fight scenes had an extra punch this time, I mean it is MAPPA we'rew talking about. And it looks like Arajin and Matakara might be patching things up a bit. |

Holy animation!! Not gonna let us forget which studio is animating this. Not just the fights, too. Arajin's panicky running looks so goofy that it makes him tolerable and kind of fun. Loved the mom getting all excited when her son walks through the door all beat up. |

Hard to believe that Kenichirou and Marito are still in high school, their character designs are over the top and the fight scene was really good. Arajin kinda maned up by stepping up to Shindo and increasing his merge rate with Senya. At least Arajin carried Matakara back home. This episode felt like the finale, but were at the halfway point. |

Finally! Arajin's character development! I hope with this Arajin has overcome his trauma. Mahoro is also very cool! It seems that the dynamic between Arajin and Mahoro will be better or healthier! Very satisfying! Shindo's body is damaged so will Ichiya move to another body? Matakara maybe? I wonder when Matakara's older brother will be relevant to the story. I hope Ichiya doesn't choose Matakara because that would mean Naruto vs. Sasuke again. There has to be a reason for both Arajin and Matakara to fight. It's very tiring to have another conflict between them after they reconciled in this episode. |

I seriously need to express how much I don't like the main character. The simp didn't get angry when the one friend who still respect him was getting beaten but got the power up when the girl which has been using him and treating him like trash was in danger. And the fact that he was ready to abandon the war once he realized that he couldn't get the girl is just pathetic. Even though the anime is fun, he is the only thing that holds it back in my opinion. |

@TheChadSwordman The main reason Arajin got up was not because Mahoro was in danger, but because Mahoro did what Arajin could not. Mahoro did what Arajin had always wished to do. Mahoro's words to Shindo that Arajin heard were basically like, "Everything is fine. There's nothing to be afraid of." Thus, it healed the trauma. Of course not completely, but it's a good first step. |

There are many similarities between Bucchigiri and the original story that inspired it. For example, Aladdin has a mother and there are two genies in the original story. However, that's not what I'm going to talk about. Did you know that Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp is originally set in China? In summary, Aladdin uses the power of genie to marry a Chinese princess. Here, I believe Mahoro is a representation of the Chinese princess. Before that, let's discuss the debate about Aladdin's setting. Although China is clearly mentioned in the original story, some people doubt it because the country Aladdin lives in is very Islamic. That's a stupid debate in my opinion. What's so strange about an Islamic country being located in China? In Indonesia, there was Samudera Pasai Sultanate, which was very Islamic, where the sultan and the people adopted Arabic names. Does that mean Indonesia is an Arab country? No, it doesn't. So, it is possible for a sultanate to exist in China. In fact, sultanates did exist in China although it was not very Islamic. You can check the Dali Sultanate for yourself. Why is there an Islamic state in China from Aladdin's story? Because they adopted the Islamic system. It's that simple lol. Moreover, Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp is a fiction that depends on the author's creativity. We should appreciate the author's creativity instead of stupid debates. In conclusion, Aladdin does take place in China and it doesn't contradict anything. Now we're back to the main topic. The reason I think Mahoro represents the Chinese princess is because in the ending we can see Mahoro in a middle eastern outfit with a double maiden bun hairstyle. The double maiden bun hairstyle is very synonymous with China. There are many illustrations of Chinese princesses with that hairstyle. The premise of Arajin's dynamic with Mahoro is similar to Aladdin's premise with the Chinese princess. Aladdin in the original story uses the power of a genie to attract the Chinese princess after falling in love at first sight. This is also done by Arajin in a different way where he needs Senya's power to be able to make Marito retire so that he thinks Mahoro will fall for him. So, why am I talking about this? I don't mean to say that it's definitely or certainly that Arajin and Mahoro are endgame. I just think it's interesting. Whoever made this anime really did a lot of homework. |

Definitely the most entertaining episode so far, with plenty of silliness and action. It was satisfying to see Shindo get his ass beat, but I'm wondering where the story will go from here. As someone else pointed out, this felt like a finale but we're only halfway through. |

Nothing's going to change my mind about Arajin being a piece of shit, he was ready to abandon his childhood friend AGAIN and didn't care about stopping the war simply because the girl he's simping after doesn't want anything to do with him. Up to when Mahoro stood up against Shindo, Mahoro had bigger balls than him. But seriously, what the heck were Mahoro and Shindo thinking? Mahoro was just willingly going to die against Shindo even though her brother isn't dead, and Shindo was going to kill a girl just cause she insulted him?? The heck? Well at least Arajin was willing to lend Matakara a hand with his broken leg - though that's the basic of human decency - but hopefully Arajin won't be actively avoiding Matakara anymore and his character development will go up from here. |

If it’s one thing that villains should know by now it’s that you do NOT fuck with Mahoro around Arajin. Banger episode that honestly felt like the finale, I wonder what’s in store for the second half. MAPPA cooked with the production values in this one, had to flex and remind y’all that it is MAPPA in the driving seat for this one lol. Those action scenes were great, culminating in that punch from Arajin. But before that, it was so cool seeing Mahoro standing up to Shindo. With everyone unconscious, she couldn’t have expected anyone to come and save her so she was fully expecting to die there. Seeing her so determined and resolute in the face of insurmountable odds really triggered something in Arajin. Proud of him for stepping up and protecting the girl he likes. I know some people have talked about the virginity gag being overdone, but this has always been a memey, over the top anime ass anime so I don’t really understand what people were expecting. It’s true to what it is and I think it executes it well Taking down Shindo has made Arajin a celeb instantly, even Mahoro looked speechless lol. He may have finally won her over? It’ll be interesting to see in the next episode(s). And the biggest thing, he’s being nice to his childhood friend again, finally. My biggest issue has been how much of an asshole he’s been to Matakara so hopefully that’s done |

@takashidraylus That's very interesting. Man, this episode was the best until now, I got some last episode vibes. I still think Senya is very suspect about want this fusion/full sync. Marito's tattoo is clearly a JoJo reference, but I don't remember someone talking about this on discussions. |

Peak episode. Loved it throughout. Arajin. My boy. You beat the shit out of Shindo and finally stood on your own feet. We got the backstory on Ken, Marito, and Outa as well. It was pretty nice. Hajime Ohtani. Peak. Some people hate you. Don't mind those idiots. You're a good boy to me. Mahoro was amazing as well in this episode. Love her as well. |

man I'm so frikkin' bored of this anime. We're halfway through the anime and I feel like there's been no story being told here. Just fighting and an unlikable shitty mc. The mc still sucks, while he had one shred of character development in this episode it's not really saying much. The one positive I can say is that animators did a really good job with the animation here, so props to them I guess. Though they probbaly had to do it under awful working conditions sinc this is MAPAA after all. Curious where the second half of the anime is gonna go story-wise. I have a feeling Arajin is just gonna regress to being a simp for Mahoro. It'll be annoying if she suddenly starts to like him or someshit. And while I no longer care about Arajin and Matakara's non existing "friendship", this episode give you a tiny shred of hope that Arajin will stop being such a dick to Matakara.... |

Those were some amazing fights! I love how Shindo knocked everyone out with the insert song in the background! And while it concludes the first "arc" of the show, there are more questions than awnsers. There's still next to nothing on the relationship between Ichiya and Senya or why Arajin doesn't want to get close to Matakara. But what really stood out to me was Mahoro. She might be a huge simp, but she's also smart. So I wonder which side of her stood up to Shindo - was it just the desire to protect Mahito? Did she expect Arajin would save her? Or does she have yet another trump card? Let's see where this show heads next! |

Omg man the animation in this episode was GODLYYYYYYYYYYY MAPPA really can never disappoint me man I love this studio, Shindo got his HANDED to him by Arajin I love the whole sequence shit was amazing😩🔥 NAHHHHH MY GIRL MAHORO REALLY MORE OF A REAL NIGGA THAN ARAJIN??? SAY IT AINT SO🤣🤣🤣🤣 but fr tho Arajin was actually cheesing me out in this episode and it’s really hard to make me get mad at an MC but bro was such a fucking pussy ass nigga ong, like your childhood bro is getting his shit rocked and you don’t do shit yet you see a girl who you barely know and you boss up like what? Like I’m lenient when it comes to weak MC’s like Takemichi but at least Takemichi ain’t letting his bros go out alone like Arajin, at least he Matakara a hand with his leg I really hope bro changes as a character bc yeesh…😐😐 So I’m guessing the battle ended in a draw since both leaders were on the ground, I wonder how Marito’s gonna do considering he kinda didn’t win? And what’s with Senya wanting to merge with Arajin so badly? Bros acting hella suspect🤨 Mahoro’s actions really made me respect her a lot more she really looked like such a badass out there even though she isn’t strong at all but she has heart to walk up and stand up to ppl who are clearly stronger than her and that’s what made me love her character even more, especially when she got up like seeing her skirt blow in the wind and one of her buns undone gave me goosebumps ong cant wait to see how she feels about Arajin after this😍🥰😍🥰😍 |

Mahoro was awesome this episode, I can forget her manipulative personality for a bit. The backstory was interesting to see, the bromance of the other characters in comparison to the MC does balance things a bit; you can really appreciate how true friends always stick with each other, their values and moral even when they're delinquents. MC does not deserve his mom. The Honki looking at the butt tattoo with his subtle remarks always makes me laugh. |

Everyone mad at Ara-chan but I think this ones a coming of age story. Hopefully we watch him become the friend that Matakara deserves. When they walked home together, you can't tell me that shit wasn't wholesome. Plus he didn't get up solely for Mahoro. He had flashbacks of Matakara getting beat as kids and the helplessness he experienced then. It's his trauma and self-loathing that makes him keep Matakara at arms length, he abandoned him when they were kids, but Matakara completely forgives him and even wants to be friends again, which makes him feel even more shit. We can't really be surprised at him being a simp. I mean he made that cringey forever stone, he lives with an emotional doting mum, and he's also never had a girlfriend, so it makes sense to me. It serves as comic relief. I'm more interested in the man he becomes over the course of this show. Really like the way Mappa are handling this. |

I'm really hoping that the whole reason why Arajin is such an unlikable protagonist is that Senya plans to permanently take over Arajin's body, which would give us a reason to be perfectly okay with such a horrifying plot twist. Why else would he keep looking over at Arajin's tramp stamp so evilly. |

Blergh. This episode was written by the book of shitty shonen. * Long unnecesary flashback to elongate an already overhyped fight ✔️ * Main character and possee getting beat up like dogs for torture porn ✔️ * Main unleashing power of friendship trump card to save his peers in the last minute✔️ Such a waste of top tier manpower animating a great fight, it goes down the drain for the lack of originality. Well, at least I do give them credit for making Mahoro the true mvp in this hellhole. Such a shame that they can't make an unlikeable character like Arajin likeable like they did with Mahoro despite her being literally the worst girl in the show. |
