Do you watch more than one anime at the same time ? or not ?
Not like watching at once, but rotate between animes.
For example after watched 2 episodes of X anime you watch 5 episodes of Y anime and so on.

If you answer is yes, how do you do it ?

As for me I can only focus on one anime at the same time otherwise I feel confused and not fully enjoy any of them.

I watch seasonals so, yes, I do. And no, I don't get confused... unless the anime itself is confusing. You don't just follow one show on whatever platform you use, do you? (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, cable TV, etc) So why confine yourself to just one thing?

Well, actually I don't use any services you mentioned.Furthermore I didn't follow any show these past few years.

Whatever it is I enjoy only focusing on one thing.
I guess my multi-tasking abilities are bit low :D

Yeah, it's convenient this way.
But I never go beyond 6 shows, excluding seasonals.

Yes, or I used to. Recently I've only been watching 1 anime at a time, but I'm building myself back up to how I used to do things. Anyways, it kind of just happens for me. I remember most of what happens from the previous episode, so my enjoyment isn't really effected as long as I get back to the anime in a timely manner. I'm able to juggle a bit of shows without being affected by the other anime's story/characters too. Usually, I look forward to 1 anime more than the others, so I watch that one then I move onto the others if I have time. If I forget then I just skim the previous episode its not that hard.

Sometimes it's hard to do but it's very doable. If you have time on your hands, I'd imagine you wouldn't want to binge all of the anime unless it's that good. It's a little easier to take on multiple anime's while their airing around the same time, but sometimes you forget within that week of waiting what happened on the last episode for each anime. Test out your watching method(s) and see what you like, which looks like something you figured out.

I mainly watch seasonals now, so yes. But on the past I would often watch 3 animes at the same time, but at some point I always gave priority to the one I liked most.

Yeah, but only for ongoing anime.
I don't do that when I binge watching an anime that completed.

for seasonals yea ofc.

for ones that have aired already. I usually wait til i have the right mood to start/continue something. So i might have a lot of anime i watch at the same time but i dont really have a rotation. It really depends lmao.

its not really confusing for me.

For off-seasonals, I try not to. Well, not really, I have some categories. Basically, I have shows that I watch alone (1 at a time, as much as possible), I have shows that I group watch (can be several at a time, though just through scheduling it's rarely more than 2-3), and then seasonals where I either try and limit myself (like this season, where I'm gonna be watching 6-7 probably) or go wild (I think I went close to 20 some seasons).

Short answer is I try to only watch one show at a time by myself.

I used to watch multiple animes at a time like 2 ep of first anime and then move on to another series. At one time I watched 5 different series for a week until all 5 got finished.

Nowadays I just concentrate on 1 or 2 series a time.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

I used to watch very much anime at once (that shows you my watching list length too), but now I trying to complete all of it and just focusing max 3 shows and seasonals at once. But I watch much airing too, so it's probably will be at least 30 anime this way too.

I also switch between different anime. When I feel bored or think that the next episode is a bit "predictable" I change it to the other anime. But I guess my max is 4.

I usually watch 2 animes at once, i've never tried more than that. One of the two animes i watch will be a slower one because if both are fast paced then that's when you can't fully enjoy both of them.

I'm currently watching 5 anime + a seasonal with another one to join this lineup.

I've noticed that after I go over 8 animes overall I start to confuse the stories and characters, so I usually stick to 7 animes per season with most of them being older animes that've been finished instead of animes that are coming out.

I watch some ongoing usually so yea... But even without seasonals I watch more than one at the time. There are anime that I like to enjoy in "smaller bites" for example, episode of calming slice of life anime before sleep. First comes in mind is Mushishi - I don't think I'd enjoyed it that much if I binged it in few days.

Sometimes I do, when seasonal anime are airing week-to-week. I did this with season 2 of Maid Dragon and season 2 of My Next Life as a Villainess. But overall, I prefer to focus on one show at a time, or sometimes one season at a time. That way, I can keep the plot and characters straight in my head more easily.

Yeah it's nice to mix different genres of anime. I've got Sonny boy and Owari S2(Both are fairly complex series) and then I've got Gintama which does well as a comedy anime(haven't got to the serious arcs yet). And I've got Koyomimonogatari, which I watch only if that episode occurs after the events of the arcs that I've watched so far in the Monogatari series.

Oh yeah, for sure. Though I think there's a limit to how much you can watch at one time before things become too much. But I suppose it depends on the length of anime, airing time and whether the quality just lapses. I have so many on hold though. So it isn’t a good thing.

I watch seasonals but excluding seasonals i usually only have 1 long run/completed show im watching (i.e i got caught up on one piece, watched all of parasyte,monster,etc.). I like the feel cause i stay up to date and have something look forward to with seasonals and then am absorbing one big show in any free time i have. Normally i don't have 2 big shows im going through at the same time but sometimes theres exceptions. When i was watching katanagatari i felt i needed a break after 3/4 episodes (episodes are long and a little slow early) watched another series came back and really enjoyed the rest. another example if a show/movie i have been waiting for comes out all at once (netflix, star wars visions, etc.) ill watch that interrupting what i was currently watching.

if you want good story, read novel. if you want good graphic, read manga. anime is beyond that.

My highest number of animes watch at the same time is 15 ig. (Most of them were seasons)

But yeah, I never binge more than 3 animes. As for Season animes. I can watch 15 of them at the same time, because its just one episode per week for each.

Yeah, I watch two anime at a time. One episode of one, then one of the other. I used to do it with 3 anime close to when I started watching regularly, but I felt like it was too much, so then I reduced it to alternating between just 2.
Usually, I like watching 2 anime with completely different vibes, but sometimes it's also good to watch something like Texhnolyze and Serial Experiments Lain back to back, and experience my brain melting.
