| lol..the only reason ufotable projects are what they are is because they took forever to be made..the same goes for kyoani and Wit Studio to a lesser degree.. they can't do more than one-cour anime (mostly 13 eps) every once in a while, they can't release more than one anime per year, and when they tried (releasing UBW 2 and God Eater in the same year) they fucked up the later with shitloads of delays..it's mostly just about damn time.. |

| For me ufotable is a bundle of shit and wasted effort being cucked by Bandai and Type Moon. Wish they would get better source material but they are only used for video game adaptions at this point. |

| The video doesn't really dispel the unlimited budget meme but rather transforms it to unlimited rendering times. However their fights lack impact, the pew pew from the fate series is not satisfactory most of the times. |

UBW has like 5 good fight scenes but most of them, especially the ones with caster, are just shitty cg beams with shitty 3d background spinning everywhere. Zero has fewer fight scenes and none of them are as good as the best from UBW but definitely more consistent. Like there are more fights that are mostly choreography like both saber vs lancer fights and kirtisugu vs kirei in zero. |

I didn't post it because I think they're having great directing style, but because how they achieve their high quality animation, and, in the end, the directing style is up to the director himself and how he'll utilise the most of a scene, and sadly, most anime will give you a headache because they're overusing the shaky cam, close shots and quick cuts. |

The one from kara no kyoukai in the digital reel is however justified using the spiral cam as spirals are a huge motif of the movie so very fitting that that is what the camera does during the climatic fight scene. I don't think they could have made it a particularly great fight scene with conventional choreography either because araya's fighting style is pretty static and they only exchange blows for a few seconds as shiki pushes araya down the corridor. The action scenes in kara no kyoukai 7 however are amazing as they have great choreography. You'd be hard pressed to find a better knife duel in anime at least, with most of the fight having a no thrills fighting game esque perspective as shiki and rio slash and kick against each other. |

Close-up > camera randomly rotating Haven't seen yet knk but from what I've seen Madhouse is way superior in having epic fights than Ufotable. |
