I personally don't think I can be that committed to changing my diet like that but how about you?

No and I can't think of a half-decent reason that would make it worth it in the first place.
☕ Truth be told, I'm quite proud of my house blend. To attain my flavor and fragrance, I use five different types of coffee beans. ☕

No, I see no reasonable reason to become either

It's restrictive and unhealthy in some cases

It does for me.

Change doesn't happen over night, it takes time and effort. I am only one of many people who refuse to support (gruesome and senseless) killing of other animals for something as trivial as meat in the 21. Century but the number of people is slowly but constantly increasing.

No offense but you are the kind of person I severely dislike more than anyone else.

Sure, go ahead and have your opinion, but don't push that kind of crappy lifestyle onto others for such a minimalistic reason in comparison to the bigger picture. It's not like that crusade will amount to anything anyway.

EDIT: grammar

I get cravings for meat if I don't eat any for more than 2 or 3 days. With how fast my metabolism is at this stage in my life, I don't think cutting out meat would be all that good for me either.

No, I have no logical reason for giving up on meat. Even if it did have positive health effects and prolonged my life or whatever, I'd rather live a slightly shorter life and indulge in the food that I like instead of restricting myself.

I actually was a vegetarian until recently. But on my rome trip I just thought, hell, when will I ever be in rome again, and then I cannot try the local specialties cause they have meat? And since them Im not one anymore. But to be completely honest here, meat wasnt as amazing as I thought it would be and as people always said it would. Most meat doesnt taste awful but not amazing either. Chicken is probably the best, of what Ive tried so far.

Either way I could go back to vegetarianism. Its not that hard, and it is good since if you are a person that doesnt do much physical exercise it provides a lighter diet.

Edit: I never cared about the animals. I have always been vegetarian because of health reasons, as I said, lighter diet for my lazy lifestyle. Now Im only eating meat occasionally.

Oh, this thread actually popped up. Interesting.

I was a vegetarian for about a year and a half, then when I entered university I didn't really manage my nutrients all too well, resulting in crap health overall. I think that it's a good choice to consider, though, since forcebreeding of livestock affects the environment quite a bit. More so than I had imagined, anyhow. I don't think I'd manage to go vegan, since I'm allergic to nuts and almonds, and if I'm going to try vegetarianism again then I think that I'll first start by going for a pescetarianistic lifestyle (eating seafood and veggies) so that it's easier for me to not fuck up.

If you're loving meat and don't plan on giving it up, then I just advice you to eat less beef if you care about the environment. Cows fart a lot, yo. Or you can simply not listen to me and live life your way.

Edit: For people stating that B12 isn't in vegetables, it's true. There is, however, vitamin B12 in other things that you might not have thought of, such as egg yolk (if you're okay with eating eggs), algae and there's also vitamin pills suitable for vegetarians packed with B12.

I'm a vegan. And that just means I'm a guy that doesn't use animal products as I make my way through life. Have I gotten shit for it? Oh yeah. But, my motto's just live and let live. Whether you're an animal or a human.

Unless you are a human that doesn't like anime, then screw you. Just kidding on that last part. XP

Tigers are natural born predators who are built to eat meat. They don't think twice about eating it, why should I? I'm not going to fight nature. It's how the food chain works. We're the apex race of this planet.

As has been pointed out it's simply the way of the world.

Everything eats everything else, even if those things are simply plants. Don't see anyone campaigning for not eating plants and vegetables.
