It aired in Japanese theaters in January. I saw a theater camrip not long after. The Japanese Blu-ray was released September 25th and online HD downloads (sub and dub) were available shortly before then. I'm the type of person who does lots of rewatches, so I've seen the series and movies of Madoka numerous times, both subbed and dubbed. I guess when you're in the mood to rewatch the series for both of those anime, you can check out the first two movies for each.

Made In Abyss is on your favorites and you haven't seen Dawn Of The Deep Soul yet?! Oh man...you need to! I think I like it (and its soundtrack) even more than the series. It's available in 1080p on Nyaa. Madoka Magica: Rebellion is also worth watching. (I prefer the first two movies over the series since they have better music, animation, voice acting and some new content. I favor sub for the series and dub for the movies.)

Kaiba does seem very interesting, indeed. My biggest problem with Yuasa in general is that he has this very unorthodox art style, but the stories themselves are usually pretty straight forward and tame. Don't get me wrong, they're still good stories; I just think it makes for a weird sort of clash. Kaiba seems a bit different from what little I've seen of it, though. You should try out Mind Game someday.
