Quite too much especially when it's so small. Most of the figurines I yearn to purchase when I get spare cash are proxy 1/7 and much grander, yet even those don't come close to $200.

I saw some of £400, pretty good scale, detail was great, and the design was good, But I don't see much use for it for poor people like me.

If you're itching to get some anime figures but unwilling to spend over $60 for them, I'd say nendoroids are the best figures you can get for around the $30-50 price range. OP likes Haruhi so to get you started:

http://www.hlj.com/product/GSC96308 (Out of stock)

or her latest movie form:

or figma's:

Like a lot of previous members said, the figure you're getting is insanely overpriced. If you really selective and only want characters that you like, you gotta follow a lot of figure sites and see what they're releasing every month just like watching anime schedules. They usually don't restock after the first release, so make sure you get a preorder on some before they release!

Not even if it is a Transformer or gundam (what I collect).
Even for YUgioh I NEVER spend more than 25 for a single card.

Holy shit! $200 for a freaking doll? Listen, go learn the value of a dollar, settle for something less than $20, and put the other $180 in a savings account.

That really depends on how badly you want something. From a logical standpoint, buying figurines at all would be "too much". However, when you work for your money nobody has a right to tell you what is too expensive and how to spend your money (well, except your starving and neglected children)

Personally, I find figurines to be too tacky. However, if I had a bit of extra money, I'd definitely buy a good replica of a Rozen Maiden doll, I believe I seen a really good Souseiseki for $2 000.

LOL, very well said...

I personally have never bought any figurines, and I don't plan to...

However, if that's something you're into, that's fine.....Just remember the old saying:

"Too much of anything....Is a bad thing"

Could try searching there. Obviously there's probably some that aren't in their database, but if so, they're probably long OOP and too obscure to find anywhere anyways.

I've got a Mitsuru Kirijo FES figurine (still sealed in it's original Japanese box!) that's worth about 200-250 buxx :P. I don't know who the hell would buy that, but thank god for EBay, amirite? haha.

If you think that you'll still like the figurine after 1-3-6 months then it's ok :] I've always believed that as long as you're happy with it you can do whatever you want with your money! :P Personally I would never spend so much on a figurine but that's another case xD

Really? Ridiculous how much the price jumps up. I got mine for about 5-6000 yen. If I'd known , I should have bought a couple more to sell on Ebay later :/
