| I believe that this movie was one of the greatest I've ever seen so far. @Meddigo, I'll give Evangelion a shot, but no guarantees that in my view that it will be better than Haruhi. | It just hit me that even though I've posted a lot in this discussion, I never expressed my opinion about this movie. Well, here's what I wrote the first time I expressed myself: "I went directly to Mazui's site and grabbed it in the middle of the night after over 9000 F5s. Then I watched it for the fifth time and I died all over again because of my inability to cope with the overwhelmingly awe-inspiring details, events, music and everything in this movie. My jaw fell off. My eyes popped out. I was temporarily unable to express in words. My legs and arms were numb. My tears didn't stop. Am I overreacting? Does it look like I'm overreacting? Maybe xD My body will never be ready for this movie. Do I even need to say it's the best movie I've ever watched?" That didn't really go into detail as to why it is so incredibly magnificent, but there's enough of that in the reviews. |

| well... a good show, but not GREAT... I don't understand why this movie get such a high score (9,16...) this show is overrated... very boring at first (kyon monologue) ---> interesting (kyon search haruhi desperately) ----> average (kyon back to the past) -----> dissapointing all that trouble just because 1 little girl with glasses is tired... solid movie... a solid 7/10 |

| The movie makes up for the shitiness of the Haruhi Franchise. The psychology scene is amazingly awsome. But jesus, Asakura is one crazy bitch, but where did she come from? Anyhow, it reminds me of School Days =D |

| First of all, why are we talking about other anime in a Haruhi Movie Discussion thread? Is not even related to this movie. PLOT TWIST, the last 40 minute was like WOW! Asakura came out of no where with dagger and stab Kyon and then Kyon watch Kyon dying. In that very moment 3 Kyons + Mikurus were in existence. |

| Excellent movie, faithful to the source material and really well done as well. Easily covers 7 regular aired anime episodes. That last scene at the end of the movie was really cute too. |
| This movie was like KnK5. Everything is like omg wtf, then it all works out in the end and your're like: holy f*** that was amazing. IT was worth the wait... Season 3 please? I might start suffering from lack of haruhi syndrome. |
| Let's see, December 18 4 am: 1 Kyon got stabbed - Older Mikuru from the future was with him 1 Kyon came from the future - Along with Future Mikuru and Future Yuki was with him 1 Kyon is sleeping - Present Mikuru was sleeping and the present Yuki was reborn Technically, there are 3 Kyons, 3 Mikurus and 2 Yukis at that time Assuming that the 1st Kyon really died from that stab. There's still a reason why the future Kyon still exists. There is another Kyon sleeping. So I was thinking that his death was inevitable but wouldn't really abide the law of time paradox... just my crazy thought, you guys can criticize with this xDD |
| Finally got around to watching it since I was afraid of giving it a 10. Lucky for me, it wasn't the masterpiece that other people tried to push on me. I'm well aware how the Haruhi franchise works in the anime and although it was either touching, dramatic, or suspenseful, it lacked something that I am unable to convey to you because you wouldn't understand. That makes everything I said pretty much worthless. I loved seeing Asakura again though. Getting stabbed by a girl seems to now be my fantasy. |

| Actually, there are 4 Kyons (lol). The 3 years younger Kyon who has no idea of what is going on, the Kyon that comes with Asahina and helps Haruhi with drawing whatever it was, the Kyon that gets stabbed, and the Kyon that saves the stabbed Kyon. Oh, the movie? An easy 10. Though, only because of this: This had me cracking up for so long that I had to stop the movie. It is just so Kyon (hey, I made up an adjective!) that you can't help it. |

I'm not even that huge a fan of the whole thing. Mostly because I don't really like Haruhi, but this movie might have changed my mind. She was tolerant and kinda sweet here. Still not near as sweet as either Kyon, Yuki or Koizumi. Everything about it was just enjoyable and I will say, without shame, that I shed a few tears near the ending. Ok, alot of tears, actually. I blame Yuki for that. Well, and the soundtrack, very haunting. But now, I'm not sure who I ship anymore. Pfft. I was a Kyon/Koizumi fangirl, cuz it's fun. But now, dammit.. I really like Kyon/Yuki(that scene on the roof, gosh..) , but the Haruhi/Kyon scene in the hospital was so sweet as well. Bleh, not important. 10/10 from me! <3 |

| I had high expectations with both the series + movie and they both delivered. Still a little confused with the storyline, but overall it was far better than what I had expected. The ending was a nice touch and it didn't leave me on a cliff hanger. I have to say it was time well spent. Can't really think of how this movie could improve. I don't even have to think about this one. 10/10 No more, no less. Perfect. |

| I was surprised when I saw that it would run for almost 3 hours, but it was the best 3 hours of this week in retrospect. It had everything I like about the Haruhi series and fiction in general. And Yuki...I'm speechless. 10/10 from me. Edit: I also like how they conveyed the feeling of emptiness after the SOS Brigade is gone. It's one thing to express what the character iis going through, and another to make the viewer feel the pang of loss as well. Nicely done. |

| Those 3 hours flew by too fast... Without a doubt the best anime movie thats come out in a long time. Easy 10/10 I never really got into the whole Nagato Yuki craze, but this movie has made me a complete and total Nagato fan. She was just so cute throughout the entire film. I love the new shy Nagato. |
| long but entertaining throughout. slightly confusing after the stabbing. the "other world" Nagata was much nicer. very cute. also the long haired Haruhi was nice to see again. I can't say in that situation I would have done the same thing. good movie though, better than any of the first 2 seasons. |
