| Exactly what it looks like. Dime a dozen stereotypical harem ecchi that looks like it was ripped out of a really bad eroge. Why does every season have to have one or even more of these types of horrid tripe? These sorts of shows make K-On look like the Magnum Opus of anime. |

I'm liking this more than the manga. This scene was adorable lol. --- Don't expect too much from this series, and yes Fumino is like this because of her past. If you've watched this ep I'm pretty sure Takumi says Fumino is like the way she is because of him We can see flashbacks of Fumino and Takumi's childhood in this. Can't you see him say stuff like "Tell them Die Twice!" She's said this numerous times, she's like this because of what Takumi told her when they were young when they both got bullied (cmon, this ain't a spoiler, there are rocks being thrown at them and the opening scene + they're orphans). ---- Their eyes don't have much shine in them LOL. |

| I thought it was fun and entertaining enough to keep me interested. I'm used to tsunderes so I didn't really find Fumino to be annoying, and damn she's as tsundere as it gets. I'll take her over Shana/Louise any day. The cast is amazing. I like every single voice in it so far... Azusa and Ritsu from K-ON!, Saten, Mikoto, Index and Accelerator from Toaru Majutsu no Index and Minori and Kouji from Toradora. They're all great imo. Opening and ending were okay but nothing special. Maybe I'll grow to like them better the more I watch them. |

But for the love of God don't go around giving 1's to series just because you've seen the first episode or so. Like a guy previously said; if you don't like the premise of the Anime, then don't pick it up in the first place. Because face it, we all get annoyed when an anime we like gets dissed by idiots who think that watching 1 episode is enough of a warrant to give a score. I'll admit I used to do that myself to some extent; but I've realised how much of a retard I was back then. |

For example am not against fanservice comedy moe shows but this was really bad and i thought of dropping it from the first episode. I barely decided to watch at least another episode thinking that it may have sucked because it was introducing the characters. If it was some political,psychological,action even shounen series it may developed differently as it goes so giving a few episodes it's logical but really how different can a show like this become than what it already shown in the first episode. Someone who saw quite a few anime knows that it probably won't change much. So if i drop it with a bad score after two episodes i have every right to do it. |

| Monad, all I can say is that you ought to read the 3 chapters of the manga that have been scanned and judge whether or not you'd like to continue before condemning it to that degree. As for the episode itself, I wholeheartedly agree that merely based off of episode 1 it seems to be little more than generic and rather uninspired. It seems that they're trying to move at the pace of the light novel, in which case I'm not sure how it'll turn out since that typically only works well for more dialogue intensive series. However, Yabuki's manga adaptation moves the plot along quite nicely and I hope we see the same sort of development in the anime. On a side note, Fumino's "opposite speech" is the most creative dynamic I've seen used in a long time. She can be as endearingly tsundere as she wants without plaguing the audience with the time wasting misunderstandings that usually arise since everyone knows what she means. Given how honest she is when it comes to romance however (especially since she knows takumi understands the opposite thing) , it's not really that necessary =\ (If you've only watched the episode you havn't seen this yet). |

| Well, in my eyes a pretty good first episode, especially seeing as many series usually get a pretty bad first impression from many because it may seem generic from the beginning. I've seen worse first episodes. The voice acting was great for the entirety of the episode and the animation is a sure-draw for people like me, especially after seeing AIC's previous works over the last Fall season, Nyan Koi! and Sora no Otoshimono. This is not gonna be one to like if you hate plots like these, but I personally find these shows enjoyable because I, unlike many detractors, do not have high expectations, exactly because I KNOW what to expect, so I just enjoy it. These shows rely strongly on the character interactions and I found them pretty decent. This sets up for the second episode, so I'm just hoping it really does get better from here. |

Being a harem doesn't mean there isn't some sense of purpose and the crazy pace jumping from one scene to the other with out clear coherence is certainty something that doesn't characterize every harem school-life. And seriously the characters where to much and too childish something that also doesn't go for all this type of anime. There is a line before your characters jump from a little more intense in being complete craziness and this episode crossed that line. Anyway i agree with you that posts saying "This is shit, Dropped" with out making any decent comment sound annoying but you can't judge them for giving a bad score if that really is there opinion. And anyway i don't think you should worry about 1 episode score because if am not mistaken MAL accepts score in the statistics only if you saw at least 2 episodes. |
