| Seems my cope theory is at least partially confirmed by now (about this season being handled like shit because they want to get all the prep out of the way for season 4, which maybe will get better budget and care, but i'm not holding my fingers out for that last part to be true too anymore).. |

That was literally one of the worst anime episodes I've ever seen in my life. They couldn't even make up their minds for which canonicity to even adapt ffs.

Are people seriously asking for the entire episode to be consumed by the Zombieman vs Vampire fight? Cause that's what it sounds like when I hear people complaining about this cut.
I'm glad his fight got cut short. I don't know what I'm missing, but a stretched out Zombieman vs Vampire battle would be the third episode in a row focused on a single hero.

| Oh man, at this point, I'd be surprised if Saitama shows up for the last episode. You know what the mark of truly shit writing is? When the writer can't figure out how to use his/her own protagonist, so they try to do everything BUT write that fucking character that made their show. You see this shit in a lot of isekai shows, where the MC is made OP and the writer can't figure out how to make things interesting past the first episode/season. Anyway, I'm guessing 11th episode us where Saitama will eventually reach the fucking lair and get into fight, probably like 3 mins reserved for this while rest will be filler fights with third rate "heroes" and "dragon threat" level villains like.. Dracula (very imaginative). Then the 12th episode will have slightly more action and screentime, before the day is saved. And here I thought that season 2 was utter shit, but it seems like a fucking masterpiece compared to this shit-show. |

As both a manga and webcomic reader, I literally don't understand what the complaints are talking about. The animation could be better? Yeah, sure. Still nowhere near bad enough as the 1-3 episodes. The fights were well paced, good voice acting and fun moments. Does anyone even remember how Season 2 looked?

| Holy slideshow, this was probabl the worst one so far. Whole fights getting offscreened and even in the fights shown mostly still frames. And in some instances it seemed like complete images were just missing, for an action anime that's really really bad... also no Saitama to be seen anywhere -_- |

| It’s been a while since I read this arc in the manga, so my memory was hazy on some parts. The only reason I even bothered sticking with this was for a simple recap… and now they go and adapt a part that was literally discarded and retconned. Like, congratulations! | It’s not just that the animation is bad, it’s badly directed. The fights have no sense of impact, no rhythm, no buildup. Hits don’t land, cuts feel random, and there’s no weight to anything that’s supposed to feel explosive. I mean you can have limited animation and still sell impact with timing, framing, and pacing. Right now it just feels flat and unconsidered. |
| Well, so now this arc is becoming a rundown on how every here battles. Honestly, the pacing was once again horrible, it was super fast, like "oh, here's the zombieman, now here's the big hero, now here are the disciples of the Samurai hero, oh, but look, it's Sweet Mask". For me, it just didn't make the episode enjoyable at all. The animation was inconsistent, there were some good shots, and some shots where there was 0 animation with the fights, sometimes to the point it was hard even figuring what was about to happen. The best part of the episode was the 1st part with Zombieman, since it was the more slow paced one, and it was still fast paced, so yeah. Once again, this episode shows the problem with this season isn't the animation only, the pacing, directing and even the overall plot are not helping. Edit: Forgot to mention, it was mentioned this episode that Sweet Mask is a monster, but I'm not sure if they meant it for real (and hence why he didn't want the Samurai disciples to be there) or just in the way that he is ruthless with monsters (I mean, he didn't even flinch to kill the brainwashed humans). Also, just discovered now that Zombieman's lollipop is supposed to be a cigarette in the original source... xD That's actually so funny, especially because they switched it to one of those big lollipops xD |
