I would love if someone could recommend me an anime from this list in the unwatched section https://anime.jhiday.net/hof/challenge/unpopular?user=acestrawbs#challengeItems

or a horror anime (or both if you can/want)

Tokkou is something I watched recently and is on your list as requested. It is nothing exceptional or great, but it is an interesting watch. It cannot really be called horror, but there are mystery elements, paranormal happening and a lot of action in this anime. I hope you can check it off your list and will enjoy it to an extent, even if it isn't the greatest series of all.

@SoraShiroTenshi That anime was pure diabetes I liked it. I was about to recommend you The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil but it was already in your watching list, I suggest you watch it, that one was mix of diabetes and Comedy.

Since you've watched a lot (and I genuinely mean a lot) of anime it was hard to find one to recommend to you. But I noticed you've got good taste in Isekai anime and got few favorites too. I just cross checked with my list and finally was able to find something to recommend to you! It's The Wrong Way to use Healing Magic. I highly suggest you watch this one, it's fun but captivating story too. I started it's manga right after 2nd episode and without any spoiler I would say that the story further is very fun and interesting.

You should also try Isekai Quartet . Since you're a fan of Konosuba (a massive W) and Re:Zero (another W), I suggest you watch this one. You'll enjoy every bit of it and wish for more. This is an unexpected but highly welcomed collaboration between major Kadokawa Isekai series and short but fun episodes.

I'm a big fan of any Isekai whether trash, overpowered mc or idk how but I've gotten into Villainess stories too. So you can recommend me something along those lines.
@Asylum0741 for isekai addiction you're at the right address here, I'm into that shit (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)

and you've already seen so many, nice collection! I managed to find two I'd actually recommend from my list, which are both op mc ones:
Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear - funny and totally wholesome!
My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World - lone traveler who'd rather stay low style. with a wimpy wolf & feisty slimes. ngl big fights are just an attack spam fest, but it's one of those brainless, rather relaxing anime that you can watch when not having much concentration left to offer. and the slimes are so cute!

𝗆𝗈𝗈𝖽: 𝗃𝗎𝗌𝗍 𝗋𝗈𝗅𝗅𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗐𝗂𝗍𝗁 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖿𝗅𝗈𝗐
𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗌𝗈𝗆𝖾𝗍𝗂𝗆𝖾𝗌 𝗀𝖾𝗍𝗍𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗋𝗈𝗅𝗅𝖾𝖽 𝗈𝗏𝖾𝗋.

I'm obsessed with this man
and his smile. why is he so fine ᥫ᭡

@jypcan I'll recommend Kono Oto Tomare! It's a great slice of life drama centered around a high school koto club, with some amazing character moments. It's a personal favorite of mine, so when you mentioned wanting a music anime, it was the first that came to mind. Hope you enjoy it!

@Bahamut_Zero If you want a good sports anime, try Run with the Wind. It's a great sports drama from 2018 that I don't see many people mention. Not too long of a watch at 23 episodes and a complete adaptation. Hope you enjoy it!

@AppleIceCream Hi, I would like to recommend you to watch Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.

I think it will fit your watching style from looking at your higher scored animes - it seems you like a mix of fantasy fighting anime that has a darker feel / appearance to them. I hope this show is somewhat to your taste :)

@Fish4Seagulls Thanks for the recommendation, I actually had never heard of that one before. Just added it to my PTW list :)

PS: please don't mention the obvious or which are present in plan to watch. That would be a waste of this event's purpose. Looking for hidden gems.

I'm currently confused on which anime titles to prioritize finishing before 2025 ends, among my "currently watching" or "plan-to-watch" list.

I'm aware there are some great titles there but i would like a push by someone who've finished and truly enjoyed them.

Thank you for your help.
@Xavion I found a couple of cool anime for you (from your watching list).
I wasn't sure what genre you're most into right now, so I picked a few different ones

Romance: Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku
Drama: Sakamichi no Apollon
Adventure: Kanata no Astra
Comedy: Isekai Ojisan

The last anime I got really into was Kusuriya no Hitorigoto. I’m looking for something with standout characters (and not the dumb kind), plus a bit of romance — preferably as a side element so it doesn’t take over the story — and nice character designs too. I’m open to any suggestions :p And if someone recommends me something, I can recommend something back as well!
@sylargbrl I'm not sure if I didn't misinterpreted your preferences, but maybe you'll like Lycoris Recoil...? It's not a boring slice of life, I laughed and cried while watching. There are hints of a romance between the main characters, but you may see them as best friends as their bond is important to the story and it wouldn't be a problem.

@RandomStrawberry I feel like Himesama "Goumon" no Jikan desu is one that got slept on that Dungeon Meshi fans might enjoy! It's more on the comedic side but still had that food art and a surprising amount to say about its fantasy world that keeps its central gag from going stale. https://myanimelist.net/anime/55774/Himesama_Goumon_no_Jikan_desu

If you want to watch something longer 'Clannad' (especially after story) is a good show with a lot of heavy emotions.

I saw your post asking for "emotional rollercoasters" similar to Nana.

You absolutely have to watch this one! It is from the same author as Nana (Ai Yazawa), so it has that same unique art style and mature relationship drama you are looking for:
