(1) Reply with a music recommendation to the user above you or anyone else who has already posted, including myself. It's best you provide a link on Youtube or another site so we can go straight to the music. (2) Also post a link to some music you like. This way other users can recommend music to you! It's optional but you should provide a reason why you like this particular music or video. I'll begin. I really like Same Blue by Official HIGE DANdism because of the changing odd time signatures and the lyrics! Top Tip! Use Video Important! Music Swap will close at 23:59pm Sunday 23rd GMT+0 The tickets will be given in batches, by Myself, @ScaryOwl, @PokefanPT & @eirian_j during the day. |˶˙ᵕ˙ )ノ゙ thanks for your music recommendations! | @nightfury10 I definitely have my picks for video game music, at least. This here is my first thought for something to get the blood pumping As for my personal everyday taste, I'm a goth girlie at heart and Voltaire here has the most playable macabre music for me. He has more famous tracks than the one I'm posting, but if anyone ever watched the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy as a kid, then there are a couple tracks that should jog your memory His other hit from that series is "Land of the Dead" which was the opening song for the movie "Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure". |

@MonsterGH Wow, Lord Kenshi in the Gundam opening, incorporating some trance elements into this music is very interesting. That vibe reminds me of the anime ED from Link Click (JP version). ======= And while we're talking about songs in anime, a few weeks ago I listened to a remastered version of a song. I recommend it. It really felt nostalgic even though I've never watched the anime.😅 < SUKIMASWITCH - HELLO ESPECIALLY>

@RaiYou I've got a couple things you might enjoy. Links below to Periphery's Hail Stan album, Pure Power by Zardonic, It Has To Be This Way from the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance soundtrack, and Unstopable by E.S. Posthumus. I hope these can also add to your plot armor. For anyone who wants to give me any recommendations, my own tastes are pretty in line with the things that I posted above. But I'm also partial to a good blues song. And big band. Any new artists/bands in these genres would also be appreciated.

@DessiJ If you're looking for idol music, I think that Perfume might fit (might not be similar to idol bands such as AKB48 though if that is more what you are looking for). The next band was an interesting take on the idol scene, they tried to become an underground shoegaze idol band. Really nice sound to their music, if you like that type of genre. Live version of ねぇ As for me, I am open to any music. If anyone has any song they want someone else to listen to I'm all ears :) Otherwise, I usually listen to shoegaze and noisepop. Coo:ya's album 静焔 has been something I've listened to for quite a while, my favorite song on the album is the second track. The album also has a great opening track! Yet another band that I've been listening to their albums on repeat basically, their synths carry a sort of bittersweetness to them. Not unlike the title (translated loosely into: "Heaven is still far away") the song feels very isolated and "open". Quite a large ambience to it, and carries a lonely feeling with it. Depending on how you listen to it, perhaps it may be a bittersweet "longing" or "missing" within the sound, rather than just loneliness. Whispery vocals, noise and a tinge of longing. 揺らぎ (Yuragi) is also a really great band that I think others would like. To end this wall of recommendations I'd like to finish it on one of my all time favorite tracks within this noisy genre, Bright, by Tokyo Shoegazer. Absolutely fantastic album, but this song is exceptional. It has such a dreamy vocal performance that fits perfectly together with the instrumental.

@sawamura02 Here's my recommendation for you - the second opening of Ousama Ranking! It's really a masterclass of cinematic storytelling by Yamashita Shingo, a first-wave web-gen animator, also known for making openings for Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen. Not only is the music epic and emotional, but the visuals are top-notch. He masterfully incorporates story beats and major character moments without it seeming like spoilers, giving the opening a new experience after you finish watching the show. For instance, my favourite part from this opening is at 1:05 - (spoliers ahead if you care) The lyrics and visuals depict the world from the POV of Miranjo, the witch in the magic mirror at her lowest point, when she was about to jump off a cliff and end her life. At the very last moment, the giant king Bosse catches her, and the rest of the scene is Miranjo's POV travelling around with Bosse and him showing her the beauty of the world, until her "mask" (shell) breaks and she falls in love. This was never shown in the anime and only eluded to as backstory, which I think is pretty neat. As for the music I like, I quite enjoy j-pop like Lagtrain by inabakumori or Hai Yorokonde by Kocchi no Kento. I also like Joe Hisaishi, Eve, Yoasobi and MYTH&ROID, if that's of any help :p
