| Productions better than expected and the character designs are quite nice but that's about it. Also, questioning planes and phones but has cameras installed in the palace. Ah yes, they must be magic cameras. |
| Gorgeous pictures. It's been a while since an anime was done old school style with hand drawn arts, most of them now in days are using those Computer copy and paste pre-defined anime arts libreary, or in worse case those really janky horribly animated 3D graphics that makes you want to puke. I like the manga, and I'm so glad they did such a good work with the Anime, it really brought it to life. |
| The episode felt rushed and the animation quality was bad. Dropping it after one episode. A shame because it was the only new anime that felt interesting this season. |

| Akira might be a brooding loner who likes Isekai, but he's trope savvy enough to not trust any kingdom that summons an entire class to a new realm. Austin Tindle is doing great work as the MC. I wonder who placed that curse on Tsukasa. Shouldn't the people around him want the hero to succeed? A lot of shady things are clearly underfoot here. |

| The animation is pretty good. The dub is trash though FYI. You would think your average Japanese student would recognize a summoning by now and evacuate the area if they didn't want to go. So the kingdom swept up a classroom as a job lot to sift through for a hero? Pretty asinine to just randomly assign classes too, what kind of half-assed system do we have running here? Naturally everyone is pretty calm in being abducted, oops I mean "summoned" to fight in some war. The king seems pretty shady but Saran isn't on the same page which is an interesting twist. I guess I'll see where this is going for now. |

I wonder if that first scene is what we're going to be leading up to all season... the world is named Morrigan... knowing what I do now about the lore of a certain person named that, I have a bad feeling about this, though it could still be entirely unrelated..... oh man, the dub doesn't have the on-screen translations yet.... I hate it when that happens... hidden cameras..... I agree with our MC... they're DEFINITELY hiding something... hmmm not sure if I trust this captain yet... though I think he's lowered my guard a tad when he said not to tell the king what he had just said... | Ok I'll take a little more plot, mystery and a little less mediocrity and generic MC with my isekai order please. You have my interest. Plot seemed to move very fast for the first episode, my only real critique thus far. |

| I like to watch some anime, I like to talk about some anime, I dislike wars over some anime, but more than anything I love to live my life, anime is an enjoyable and entertaining addition onto my life but it's not my whole life. |

| @UtakaSenpai Well the random guy noticed him so his kokoro was happy.. :') He did say he was the first person to ever notice him so.. who cares about morals lol.. //then again did he totally forget and ignore his classmate who noticed him in class and actually tried talking to him? yeah. In all honesty it felt really suspicious to me as well. But the whole ep was so rushed that I can't even tell if they are the good guys or not, for now, seems so. I mean the princess's eyes were pure evil looking .. we have nothing else to go for here |

| Ok so in this episode, my smooth brain saw: - OP and cool assassin MC, that kinda sounds like Batman at times - Animation and sound design which was of really high quality - Sweet action scenes with cool spells and sword play - Interesting plot developing around why they were summoned (...yay Isekai....) - A bromance forming :} So basically, I'm really interested in this anime and cannot wait to see more :} |

| Really nice first episode! It kinda felt a bit rushed like the whole summoning and mini training arc but so far the visuals are decent and the mc isn't a douche bag. I will say that good looking commander doesn't sit well with me, I feel like he is hiding something very obvious and is just trying to have a good relationship wiht the mc only to betray him later on. The whole interactions with him were very conviniently placed. Regardless good episode and I can't wait for the rest! |

| dammm! even with the isekai elements, this 1st ep gave me Record of Lodoss War vibes! :D this was some really great work! :D i did notice one bad spot though, the first fight in the dungeon wasn't detailed, choreographed, or animated fully. the team took too many shortcuts in that fight. what i don't get about the story so far is this... Why is there ONLY ONE Doubting Thomas in that whole gaggle of HS kids? or is our MC such a loner that he isn't interacting 'now' enough with his classmates for us as the viewers to learn more about the kids? a small homage to Fullmetal Alchemist with 'the thing' being hidden inside the cypher of a cookbook. ;> |
