| With the Boelate wizards of Meynard Swan and Kaie Chiffonlits raiding Kari's inn to claim Luna by hook and by crook, with Klen not around, Alicia must fend for Luna's safety at all costs with Nelluru stranded against iron. However, it's a former hero and the troll that overcame their initial struggles to escape freely, as much as the bugs are Meynard's control to surround the area until they subside to create an opening. And since both the former and Kaie failed to capture Luna, turning their attention to the Shiron townsfolk to get assistance to hunt Alicia, Nelluru and Luna down, is but only the natural progression for the Boelate army. Elsewhere, the Eslinn army with the Hero descendant Royes dealing with General Drel and stop his advances with his Regalia spear Frost Flower, against the former's Regalia sword Strength of the World, the legend of heroes may have past and lived on towards destruction, but one thing stays the same: heroes never die. Even with Klen showing his beastly self against Drel to ask of this "magic" that's keeping both children and dark beast younglings captive, Drel preparing his body for the moment to seal Clevatess with his Prison of Dark Ichor that proves substantial, is this the end game for the Southern Lord of Dark Beasts? The strong have come to play, and this is real business. |

| Drel got some tricks but I do feel he underestimating Clevatess power. With Alicia still awake Clevatess is not being completely locked of. |
| Well, that was an unexpected turn of events, It served to highlight Boeleta superb intelligence gathering. Meynard turned people against Alicia by basically telling the truth and Drel anticipated Clevatess return, preparing never seen before secret magic technique to seal him. What a dire situation, I wonder how Alicia will turn things around.  |
| Meynard's va is putting in hella work. Kinda wild how people just find a scapegoat to hate when things go wrong. Like if they had killed Clevatess, the heroes would be loved and praised, but because they lost now they're scum worth hunting down to kill. Invading army threaten all the villagers? Oh, they just want the hero. We can ignore the destruction of the inn and killing of one of us, as long as we can kill a hero how kind they are for helping us out. I'm sure they have good intentions That Drel vs Ice Guy was pretty underwhelming. I can't remember if it was even worse in the manga or not. I love the show, but I don't glaze enough to be blind to stiff and kinda meh animation here and there. Most of the time it's good, so on average I don't notice anything. Since Drel's physical body is gone, his current form has to use magic or the sword's magic to create/simulate a physical form since he's obviously not incorporeal. |

| Threatening Luna is a great way to experience Nelluru's mama bear troll strength! Charging bulls don't quite compare. Drel's a relentless guy, but he's no fool. What an insane feat of power to seal Clevatess like he did, even if it meant sacrificing his body to do so. He's really in it to win it now. Also I can't believe Meynard really had a whole moment of maniacal laughter and still convinced the villagers to help him search for Luna and Alicia. That bug army of his has to be quite the convincing bargaining tool. |

| Careful Nelluru, that could've hit Luna. Well, I'm glad she was able to get out of this herself instead of relying on Alicia. Now that's what you call a blood prison. Clevatess has been using ichor to resurrect, but now it's used against him. The question is, who's the demon lord who bestowed Drel with dark ichor to use? |

The adaptation really knows not to rush and present the story slowly and to its greatest extent!
There're so many good things to say about this episode, about the 20 seconds long laugh of Meynard at 08:29 - 08:49, about the sound of impact, wind, and then finally music as Clevatess presents themselves at 17:04.
The antagonists are presented really well... but in the next episode, the table will turn. Looking forwards to the next episode as well as the final arc of the season.

| @Akaseaka This indeed feels like a good adaptation. Especially love the pacing and how coherent everything is. Way different from many LN adaptations that try to cram in too much while also skipping essential parts. I wish Übel Blatt received as much care as this. |

| Anime of the season man. This is how you do dark fantasy holy shit where to start, so much hype stuff today. First off, Nelluru powers awakening? Looks like she’s got some sort of super strength which I guess is a result of Clevatess Dark Ichor being used to revive her? I got so hype when she threw the bed through the wall to save Luna. NO ONE fucks with her adopted son. This is also really cool because as we see later in the ep, Clevatess won’t be able to OP his way thru this story. This is a changing world and he’s going to need to rely on humans to help him. I love how Meynard is so fucking cartoonishly evil that even his subordinate looks at him with disgust as he talks about torturing Alicia and Nelluru 😂 the people of Shiron talking shit to him like he doesn’t have an army of bugs is hilarious, but it’s cool that he tries to turn public opinion against the heroes and use that as a weapon rather than straight up killing the townspeople. Makes him an even more interesting villain. The action in this show isn’t bad, it’s solid, but my goodness the sound design is the best part of the action here. Rhode activating his frost spell and his fight with drel sounded absolutely delectable. Reminds me of Re:Zero and Sengoku Yoku’s sound design. Clevatess comes face to face with Drel finally!! Love how he just aura farms to try and intimidate Drel and while it works for a minute, clearly Drel has been planning for this day for a long time. I did NOT see him being able to seal Clevatess tho wtf. He’s quite literally become one with his own sword. If he can seal dark beasts, who can stop this dude? This keeps things interesting tho with Alicia and Nelluru having a lot of responsibility since Clevatess is weak to humans’ magic. It makes the enemies feel threatening and adds stakes I’m really excited to see how this plays out and how they’ll get Clevatess out of that prison. No way he stays in there long term so they’ll have to either beat Drel or punch thru it with Nelluru abilities? I also find it interesting Drel wants to overthrow the age of heroes because humanity keeps sending people to die against the beasts, but he’s clearly making magic that can fight them. Sounds like he just wants to replace them as the global hegemony. |

| I gotta say, Drel is a proper villain here, not like Maynard, who, as usual, acts all mighty and all, and will probably have a slow and painful, but equally satisfying death. Many things impressed me here, but especially Nelluru, which, out of nowhere, just launched two very heavy beds towards the bad girl. I wonder if, even after Clevatess is trapped in the ball of blood, the dark thingy he has will "transfer" or something like that to the two ladies, especially Alicia. I hope the landlady of the site they were staying at protects them somehow. Or, well, some blood will run in that town... Or perhaps a ton of bug spray in the form of Alicia with her sword.  |

| While Clevatess is incredibly powerful, it would have been disappointing if he had taken out Drel so easily; we would have been left without a real villain. I really liked how Drel managed to stop Clevatess. No plot armor: Clevatess barely knows about sorcery, and simply underestimated a human who happened to be one of the greatest sorcerers alive. In a way, Drel proved that his goal of ending the "hero legend" is not entirely wrong. If humans want to defeat the beasts, they should explore other methods, and sorcery is a good option. It has already shown that even one of the beast kings can be restrained with it (although it is Clevatess, so he won't stay restrained for long maybe later Alice will have her moment to shine). All I ask is that they kill that idiot Meynard for once. |

whoa whoa whoa.. I thought those legendy swords made by the king just with special material, but I didn't know they come with some sort of magic ability... all of the sudden you got spear with ice and now a sword that... call out dragon claw and some sort of blood trap? why didn't Alicia use any magic ability when she got a hold of Regalia? now she and Nelluru still trying to escape and with Clevatess trapped... it doesn't look good
| @Kai200X Like we saw in episode one of the fallen heros try and create like a magical construct with one. Alicia also created like a magic fish with stream splitter in episode 4. The material these swords are made from are clearly magical. |

| As one that likes to read an anime's manga along with the anime. Just finished reading up to where the anime is. So far adaptation is pretty accurate, had to stop mid chapter this time though to stop spoiling myself though. I do feel the fight between Drel and Rod could have been presented a little better, but it was just about as one-sided in the manga. |

He wants to break the cycle of humanoids being kept and controlled by the legend of heroes that never really amounted to anything. For generations, they are given the carrot and the stick belief that there's a vast world waiting to be explored yet they need to defeat the beast lords that rule every corner of their realm. So far I see Drell as the anti-hero stepping up to liberate all of humanity by conquering both beast lords and rival nations. He's so far a well-written character that has a goal that's worth considering. |

| The way Clevatess acted when Drel said prison of dark Ichor, and the same bone popping sound that we hear from Alicia when he came out of his sword makes me wonder if Drel either is having help from one the other 3 lords since Clevatess has Dark Ichor or he figured out something. He is highly implied to have been taking babies from the bandits so maybe really messed up stuff to get that power, like draining their life or something. |

| Great ep That Clevatess blood be hitting at the right time. These townspeople, man...... Happy asl to se Rhode get humbled, way too cocky. Drel's regalia tuff asl and finally Klen / Clevatess has appeared. Interesting, Drel might have plot armor, but for how long. Is that seal that strong for Clevatess? Will Alicia and Nelluru get away with Luna? 9.5/10 |

| @Marinate1016 It's implied that Clen also used parts of the dead troll to fix Nelluru's body, hence the super human strength to carry the baggage all the time which was extremely heavy to the two inn brothers. |

I'll admit this anime is a little bit harder to predict what will happen next compare to other shounen anime.
| @phantomfandom Is it though? I'm pretty sure next episode Clevatess will effortlessly break out of the blood bubble and kill everyone of Drel's men, while Drel himself will escape since he's likely to be the main baddie of the story. |

| @Janethan23 Agreed. I can't bring myself to disliking Drel. Quite the contrary, I'll be rooting for him. I'm not a fan of the edgy insect guy from Drel's army though. Gravity girl seems fine. I mean, why shouldn't we root for team-humans? Should we root for arrogant dark beasts who want to annihilate humans instead??? Naah! If not for personal vendetta and forced obedience, Alicia would've sided with Drel I'm sure. Drel made a good point too. Who the F decided that humans should stay in their lands and never cross into the realm of dark beasts? "It's in the law" my ass. Drel seems to be the only human (so far) who CAN make a difference. Go Go Drel! I doubt Drel succeeded in sealing Clevatess there (will likely burst out next episode I think), but I hope he'll become a real headache for Clevatess and other dark beasts in the future. It'll be a shame if he gets killed in next episodes. |
