| Ines and her sword skills...yeah, she's definitely someone reliable in boss-like fights from this episode. This episode had dragon slaying themes which really fits with the title's name. Also, even if Noor thinks himself as "not hero material", he takes on the role of one. |

| The Dragon of Calamity is clear for all to see in the Empire of Mithra, though Noor just sees it as a typical dragon that he can deal with, much less Lynne's father who decides to deal it on his own willpower. And at the request of Ines and Lynne, teleporting Noor straight to the empire at ease...to parry the Black Death Dragon, it's both hilarious and laughable at best for a dense person with an OP sword. The effect of Lynne's Wind Blast with Noor's Physical Enhancement to make it into the empire in one piece and parrying the dragon in one swoop, it's definitely beatable with his rather weird sword that's just as unbelievable to parry even its strongest attack, giving the Elder Dragon an identity crisis in pure defeat and submission. Well, more than being the best episode thus far, even a dense nerd like Noor has his moment to shine. |

| Surprisingly good episode actually. Noor was competent for once and they wasted no time getting into the action plus it looked great. Noor even parried the king’s suicide attack unintentionally 😂 He’s now written himself into the history books just like the dragon slayer he read about growing up. Today is like the last day of Noor’s old life that’s for sure. Only Noor could face down one of the strongest creatures in existence with no fear and treat it like it’s a joke. The dragon damn near starting to cry because of how lightly Noor was taking it had me cracking up. Poor guy was trying his hardest to be intimidating 😂 kinda reminds me of Veldora. Smart decision in the end to just give up and be friends with Noor, anyone that strong is someone you should serve. It’s wild that other king was willing to destroy an entire kingdom just to get whatever’s in that dungeon, but it failed miserably as Rolo and the calamity dragon are now on Noor’s side lol. Also the dragon’s horn and scales can be sold and bring a lot of wealth to the kingdom so by trying to destroy his rival the other king actually just gifted them prosperity. |

| It is ludicrous, how clueless Noor is. He still got that childish naivete on him, he still finds that dragon to be mesmerizing rather than terrifying. It got the moniker of "Dragon of Calamity" for God's sake. So, everyone's bemused as how Noor still remains calm albeit seeing that monstrosity. This is wild, man. Got a laugh over it. |

| Animation was fire compared to previous episodes. That hole in the clouds was some Saitama level of flex. But I am a bit disappointed that they decided to show that railgun launch sequence a few minutes after it as a short flashback, that kind of spoiled the impact |
| This is one of the coolest anime episodes I have ever seen. This anime is completely underrated. Although I still don't like that "misunderstandings" being used so much. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

@Ahkrin I was surprised how he understood that it was actually a dragon, so I've clearly been affected by watching to many episodes of this show. Since they called it a something something "maryu", I figured Noor would take it as something similar sounding and think it's just some weaker, related creature. On the other hand, he didn't seem to understand that it's strong for a dragon, though...
| @meganimeman His knowledge is all about what he learned reading books with his father, when he was young, that's all he knowns about how monsters look.. and we literally saw his father showing a dragon that looks like the one he fought in this ep to him, hence he knew it was a dragon. How he sees things has been quite consistent. |
| After 8 whole episodes they finally returned with an animation quality on par with/ better than its first Did all the other eps got outsourced or sth??? i guess this is an important episode but still Edit: lmao just noticed a whole studio was credited as a single sakkan in the previous episode and the members aren't even listed as LO staff |

@TiagoCosta There should've been something about demonkin in them, I'd think. Also convenient there weren't any regular goblins, bipedal cows sending trained soldiers flying, nor giant frogs devastating nature with their breath in those books, then 😉

| Another cheesy but good episode; wonder what is going to happen with the dragon. He says he isn't cut out to be a hero, meaning he won't kill it once it stopped attacking, but I think the city people will see him differently. |

| Best episode of the series by far! Noor finally listened to what people told him and didn't say some nonsense like 'it is a big bird'. He also got confident in his skills. I don't think that will last but this episode shows how this anime could be closer to Frieren. |

| That was just EPIC! I'M LOVING IT EVEN MORE! Even with these misunderstandings, the characters besides MC are growing at a rapid rate which makes this series a great one. Well damn, I need more! | It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| This was the first episode I have enjoyed since like, episode 2 or 3. And I think it's because almost the entire episode was just a fight scene and the MC didn't get much chance to talk. Every time he speaks he is so indescribably stupid that it ruins the episode. I am fairly certain that watching this show is giving me high blood pressure. |
