WTF! Why does Shirota remember Ellie but not Takamine? They have been with him since grade school, so why does he not remember her? It doesn't make sense. Also, I’m glad she didn't rewind the whole day and prevent him from meeting Ellie. That would've been a sleazy move on Takamine’s part. Still, I’m upset that he couldn’t remember Takamine even though they both remember him well enough. I wonder what happened to make him forget. Did Takamine do something with her special powers to make him forget? I hope she didn't do something terrible because of something he did or didn't do as a kid. That would be so sad. Still, this was a solid episode once Ellie joined the fray. She’s so bold, but I do hope they don't try and force a harem on him. That would ruin a perfectly good story so far. Studious Takamine is so hot! 🥰🥰

It is really very stupid to forget his own female class mate who confessed to him, but to remember another girl from the same class )))

Ill say it again: i really dig the relationship between shirota and takamine.

They could remove all the unnecesary and forced ecchi stuff and we would have a really solid romcom.
The forced ecchi tropes are just lowerering its standard... I simply will never understand the appeal of ecchi. Its just so random. Noone in his right mind would say that greys Anatomy where everyone randomly flashes their boobs eould be a great idea. So i really dont get why people think its worth it in anime..

Im not prude btw, if there is a reason i have nothing against showing tits and whatever. I just feel like those random ecchi scenes are just cheap...

Short blond hair childhood friend who doesn't wear a bra called Ellie appears and plays water baloon pranks that backfired on her and got her shirt all wet and exposed her female chest, Takamine got jealous and went full yandere because she thought the baloon was a condom and that Ellie was soliciting sex, but Ellie is very friendly and has some yuri scenes with takamine and the she tells her she goes to cram school with the boy, takane is surprised and decides to b com his personal home tutor dressed as a sexy teacher/secretary/office lady with sexy pantyhose feet.

@Wrathberry84 First, this ecchi anime is not a romantic comedy. The romantic comedy here is a secondary actor. There are several animes with romantic comedy that prioritize romantic comedy, so your complaint doesn't make sense. An ecchi anime will prioritize ecchi, not romantic comedy.

Second, I've been watching anime for much longer than you since you can't even tell what an ecchi anime or a romantic comedy anime is, which makes it clear who's been watching anime for longer. Third, I've already refuted your arguments because they don't make any sense and I know that this discussion won't lead anywhere, and it's better not to waste my time here since I'm not going to make you change your mind, nor will you change mine.

Its a fact that the anime is nothing besides a classic romcom with added ecchi tropes. Ecchi is not even a genre. Its just something that gets plastered on shows of mixed genres...

But let me explain to you. Ecchi is a sexual parody with sexual jokes with the intention of making the audience laugh at embarrassing moments using sexual jokes. Now you understand ecchi.ecchi is a genre yes

Some are funny, some are not.

And takamine still is a mix of ecchi and romcom. Because all of it reeks romcom. It has all the classical tropes.
You can deny that as long as you want. My ooint stands: the ecchi in takamine is nothing but added for cheap clicks. Take it away and nearly nothing changes. The romcom is a much bigger part, especialy if you realise that we mostly have a single ecchi scene in the whole episode.

There might be shows where the ecchi is more important and plays a bigger role. But takamine would work as well, maybe even better without the 1 ecchi scene per episode
