The trans character started talking about their trans agenda out of nowhere. That's not what HE was being asked about. Anyways dropped, slop meant to pander mohdern western audiences. The terf trash took itself out. Imagine dropping a series because of someone's gender identity. Good riddance. I watched one piece, danganronpa and a lot of anime that includes femboys/gays ehich I found great. This one is clearly pushing a woke western agenda, sad that you can't see it tho. good luck taking the hopium pill in the hopes that this show gits gud, it'll be a painful and long 10 episode for you. |

The investigation is going well. That old lady looked so cute and kindhearted, no wonder the baklava was the best in the world. OP and ED themes are fire, I like them, it introduces you a better mood and pace-action. I wonder if the secret agents will find the lost grandson. |

“Edgelord much” haha yea bro so much worse than ignoring Skinner’s warning about climate change and literally walking out on his speech. You didn’t care about the world ending in 3 years then but now you do because it’s at your doorsteps.
@Marinate1016 99% of the world's population RIGHT NOW doesn't give two fukks about 'climate change' ... because they're starving to death or poor as fukk and living day to day or just BARELY above that living day to day level of income and are ONE MAJOR HOUSEHOLD FINANCIAL EMERGENCY away from living day to day. and Lazarus' world-level of technology is oh... about 200 YEARS more advanced than we have right now. a FREAKING MAGLEV TUBE TRAIN from wherever the team is based TO TURKEY! During Axel and Doug’s search, they ran into Skinner 😭—he was right there, dude! Right in front of you, lol. Meanwhile, it looks like Christine and Leland have recovered the antidote for Hapuna. It’d be really funny if that turned out to be Skinner and Hapuna. Skinner was never really an evil scientist or a bad person—he’s just the kind of villain we need to actually change this world for the better. I am glad I am not the only one who thought that |

@KiliianSleipnir The fact that everyone has used the drug is what's unrealistic to me. You mean to tell me that every single human being on the face of the planet has tried Hapna before??? What about infants, what about people who don't have access to the drug?

There's no way that every single person has tried it.
@Runasius infants are given Tylenol and Motrin regularly for fever reduction and pain relief due to Reye's syndrome and aspirin. let's see... you're no longer an infant after 1 year of age, Hapna has been out for a smidge more than 3 years... so the kids BORN when the drug was first introduced probably got it for a bumped head, fall etc. access? uhhh... you do know 3rd World Countries have CHEAPER DRUGS and FEWER DRUG CONTROLS that the EU/NA ??? the two cheapest drugs on Earth right now are Tylenol and Aspirin. if Hapna is AS CHEAP as those two? everybody's taking it. if Hapna is cheaper than HEROIN and isn't gonna kill you or get you addicted, but still 'makes you feel good'... yeahhhh everybody on synthetic opiates and heroin etc. is switching over. it isn't that far-fetched to say that EVERY human on Earth has used Tylenol or Aspirin or Motrin at least ONCE in their life. if Hapna is as widespread as those three drugs? yeah... it is obvious. |

The hunt for Skinner continues to intensify, we’re as close as anyone has been in years to finding him thanks to that Istanbul intel, but the more this show goes on, it’s clear that he’s not the monster he’s been made out to be. Growing up is accepting that Skinner did nothing wrong and humanity clearly deserved to get wiped out if they were doing it to themselves and destroying the planet. You look at that video he sent his grandmother and this isn’t a dude who harbors any sort of ill-will towards anyone. Dude got laughed out a UN climate change meeting because he had the audacity to hold the biggest polluters to account. But what made this episode amazing for me was the fact in a fucking anime, I just saw two characters have a discussion about and bond over the discrimination that Black people and transgenders face in society. That Doug convo damn near brought a tear to my eyes. Thank you Watanabe. Means the world to me. Always been an ally. Hearing the call to prayer in Istanbul was also a dope moment, but LMAO at Leland wearing a Saudi outfit in Turkey 😂 not all Muslims are Arabs bro. Didn’t have a ton of action in this episode, but when we did get it, it was dope. Axel vs the hoodlums was awesome, you can feel Chad’s touch all over this series. Baited the hacker award. I’m surprised Skinner’s partner fell for that Axel bait. Can’t wait for next episode to hopefully get some more on him. This could be the most cringest thing I have seen here lol. I had to come to see why people were criticising the last episode and you made a great argument why |

That our culture is included in such productions is a source of pride but I want to note a small point: Turks do not wear Arab clothing 🙂 Nevertheless, if one day your path falls, you must definitely try real Turkish baklava and tea! As in you aren’t creating something original while dragging it on and also misrepresenting the whole problems with scenes like that… Scenes like that doesn’t help their cause but drives normal people away from them. Hence why the world and culture is changing back to what it was in 90s in almost every country. We have actual animes with racial discrimination and trans issues done correctly without the overbearing of conversations like that. Trying to pander to an audience on twitter ironically won’t help it get more people… And yes the ones who like these scenes are from twitter and reddit of all places |

I don't know what this episode did, but I was completely digging the vibe of the episode. In terms of plot, we actually are starting to get somewhere, so I really enjoyed it. This episode also had really good shots and talks between characters. And we still got a good action scene, that was really well animated. Kinda funny how they stopped attacking Axel and Leland, when Leland said they were just there for Belinda's Baklava cake! Also, the OST for this episode was on point. I really enjoyed how we got to see more characters interacting with each other, and they are switching up the pairs too. And with things like how Doug had that story with that ex-teacher, that stood up for him when he was expelled from college for not taking up those racist remarks, makes us know the characters little by little, without just doing an exposition of what they did in the past. In relation to theories, knowing that Skinner probably doesn't what his grandmother to die, I wonder if that flower he gave her is the antidotte for the drug? Also, they never mentioned the drug they found on his home earlier in the episode. The episode ends with Elaine finding out who's the hacker helping Skinner, let's see how that works out in the next episode. Overall, I feel like this was the best episode so far, and mostly because it completely got the vibes for the anime right, in my opinion. Really excited to see how this anime will develop, especially story-wise! |

@Runasius Yeah, like what about people too poor to even AFFORD the drug, and some people are isolated from modern society and wouldn't even take the drug. Some people wouldn't even take the drug because they are too smart, "too good to be true, im not taking that shit". |

@Marinate1016 anti-woke people on MAL don’t realize Watanabe has always been open about diversity. Cowboy bebop literally has a racially diverse group of characters. Same with Carole & Tuesday that had a same sex on screen lesbian kiss, non-binary character and metaphors for discrimination & immigrants. @KiliianSleipnir The fact that everyone has used the drug is what's unrealistic to me. You mean to tell me that every single human being on the face of the planet has tried Hapna before??? What about infants, what about people who don't have access to the drug?
There's no way that every single person has tried it.
There's no way that every single person has tried it.
@Runasius Think about it: to terminate our civilization, it is not needed to kill all of us, but the critical mass who gives form and sustains it; the chain reaction triggered by the chaos completes the process by itself. |

just wanted to say, the intro to this episode was mad vibey... had an ethereal feeling about its composition, with the philosophic discourse contributing greatly to the feel of it. a solution for all your worries and pains, is that even what one would want? can there really be life without pain? is everyone else odd for buying into a cure-all or am I the odd one out for doubting this panacea of a drug? to trust your gut in the moment or the entire world breathing down your neck? |
