Just watched the movie today at home, it isn’t bad. There is enough dialogue and action in it to keep me entertained.

| The movie had some pacing issues, especiall at the start. The first negotiaton of the Paladins with Ainz was completely skipped, when he talked to Neia in the stables it skipped weirdly ahead, we didn't see anything to what happend to him when he was "dead", not even a short scene where he admitted to himself that he underestimated the demon (obviously he would limit himself to a certain power level). They also explicitly took the head of the priestess with them and nothing really came of it. The paladins themselves were stupid. Weak as hell even against ordinary enemies. Heck, the actual paladins didn't even fight much - while Neia was rallying the ordinary soldiers, the paladin marched through the city. And Remedios personally was extremely stupid. As someone else before said, her personality consists of being angry. That's it. The princess and the high priestress at least played off each other..until they died. The other paladins were even less remarkable, except for the two that died off screen when they were supposed to keep the two other enemy leaders busy. Neia herself is also a bit weird, she immediately fell for Ainz..maybe because she's suffering under Remedios, and being known for her stare can't help either, but we never really saw all that, if we've had a seaosn where she appears every now and then while bascially living her life, and we saw what motivates her, what makes her suffere tc., and then see how Ainz fits that/takes advantage of it, it would be different, but she is immediately fangirling over him without any context. It's tough putting that much stuff into so little time, but why make it a move in the first place? Maybe two parts would have been enough to kinda tell the story, an actual season would've been best, this way it suffered from bad pacing and being rushed. Maybe it'll fit a bit better if they pick up what happend here in a later season again, but they'd need easily half a season to fix the most glaring issues, and then what do you do with the other half? Open a similar can of worms because you don't have enough time to properly adapt it? |
| Very low quality of animation and about an hour longer than it should be. 4/10 AT BEST. I wish they'd invest some budget into making something more watchable. |

| This was a fantastic movie, After finishing the entire movie now I can proudly say that neia is one of the best girl in this series(^o^). She was too damm adorable with her weird looking eye and her sister like interaction with shizu just makes her genuinely the best part of the movie. That scene of fire demon throwing out that princess gory body genuinely makes me feel bad for her, quite brutal（ ´_ゝ`） This movie take place inside overlord fourth season and I'm glad I finally get to watched it. 8/10 |
| Nice film!!! Well, the action were cool although the directs combats were shorts!!! The strategy were amazing, the way to controller a country, not now, in the future!! kekeke |
| it was a good movie not a memorable one but it was nice to see them back i love the spirit, they can kill people without hesitations but the scenes with the children was tough... 7/10 |

| Okay so I am obviously not pleased about the cut content (especially towards the start and end) but whatever they decided to add, it was adapted beautifully. Neia Baraja- Live! Animated!! Voiced!!! And her fealty And devotion to His Majesty Lord Ainz Ooal Gown Sama!!!! I wasn't expecting them to potray Remidios that well though. Her VA did a great job with her, making me sad for her. Poor Calca and now it's her turn... I feel so bad for what she's about to go through later but all and anything for the 1000yrs plan!! |

Wasn't Pandora's Actor rank is about the same as Albedo, which is slightly higher than Demiurge?
Why Pandora's Actor is kneeling down to Demiurge and even call him "-sama"?

| The movie was able to make me love Neia more so they succeeded in that aspect. AINZ-SAMA!! But I feel like they didn't quite get the intensity of fanaticism in the novel. I think it's a good movie nonetheless. Just read the novel people. 8.5/10 movie |
| A video guide on how to start a religious cult. Despite even being a canon arc, it was a rather unimpressive movie. I hope I'm still alive by the time they decide to adapt enough volumes to see anything come to fruition because it just felt like watching filler. I can see why skipping it between seasons didn't make much of a difference. |

| Were those CR subs AI-generated? They weren't so bad that you couldn't understand what's going on anymore, but a lot of times they were just plain wrong. And the names of places or people were sometimes wrongly written, in different wrong ways as well lol Aside from that, this movie suffered from the same problems as the last two seasons. Too much CGI and too much screentime wasted on boring side characters. Most of the Nazarick crew didn't even appear at all and the others barely had any screentime aside from Ainz, Demiurge and Shizu. A far cry from the masterpiece that was season 1. |
| I loved this, that's basically all I can say. Having read the light novels, and it's the favorite arc of mine, I obviously wished it would be scene after scene animated but that would never happen. Either way, this was one really enjoyable movie to watch after waiting for so long. I'm extremely honored to be part of this franchise and specially the arc, which is honestly the best there is. I now need to go back and re-read the Sacred Kingdom arc in the light novels. Bloody hell it's been a blast, and will continue to be so far into the future. |

| No way they brought Hayami Saori to voice a character who had like ten lines in total and got brutally killed before the 15-minute mark xD Solid movie overall. Very entertaining despite the notorious pacing issues and the not-so-remarkable production values. Ainz was cool, story was easy to follow and Neia as protagonist was really interesting. Not to mention her interactions with Shizu/CZ2128 Delta during the last third of the movie were simple adorable. As for Remedios, her character really was a pain but I kinda understood where she was coming from. Also not gonna lie, I did feel bad for her when she realized Evil Lord Wrath was still using her queen's corpse as a meat mace. That sure was a mental breakdown to remember. 6,5/10 -> 7/10 |

| what is a bit boring about this anime is that there are too many dramas, drama fights, drama enemies, etc. There are no opponents who are really...really strong and serious against the ains and his troops |

| The plot was masterful and fun to watch, but it would have been better if it had been connected to the main story to clarify when it took place. Till the end, I still didn’t like Remedios for her half-hearted sense of justice and rotten attitude. On the other hand, Neia was the best girl in the whole movie, though by the end, I’d say her faith in Momonga might be nothing more than blind devotion. The ending was unexpected—I was wondering why the prince of the Holy Kingdom, Caspond, was working under Demiurge and what his motives were, but it makes much more sense if he was actually Pandora’s Actor all along, which would mean the royal family is no more. After watching this movie, I seriously can’t wait for the next season or whatever comes next, as I really want to see how the story progresses. |

| Since it's very obvious where things are going as soon as Ainz enters the picture, couldn't really find any interesting or entertaining moments. After 2 hours it went exactly as expected with nothing new for the overarching plot. |

| @Mattuzmk Ainz has been trying to make "rune weapons" a thing since S3 iirc. He is trying so hard to sell them and become a merchant that has exclusive access to create them. Iirc, he fought in the coloseum where the cunt prince of re-estize was because he was there trying to promote those same weapons. |

| Watching this in 2025, it is amazing how Overlord continues to resonate even years after its debut, and once again reminded me of the intricate world-building and morally ambiguous characters. Loved it. |

The Paladin of the Holy Kingdom arc is where I dropped the light novel. I couldn't stand the double gaslighting from the author and Ainz. Maruyama is clearly a sociopath and doesn't understand when to stop with his sadistic fantasies, and what is the acceptable threshold for a normal person. He managed to achieve good balance with the Nazarick cast being evil and manipulative yet still likable in the Lizard Man Heroes arc, but then he crossed the line in the Invaders of the Large Tomb arc and made me flat out hate them. With The Paladin of the Holy Kingdom he completely lost the plot. Who thinks following a cast of evil, cruel, sadistic psychopaths as they gleefully torture and genocide a whole kingdom of innocent people is any fun?
