| A really good episode and anime overall I remember reading the manga of it when it first started but I stopped as I wanted to experience it as an anime and I'm glad I waited cant wait for s2 |

Thankfully I saw the announcement for season 2 before I even started the final ep, haha! Otherwise, I would’ve been so confused with the cliff-hanger at the end, lol 😂

| @Romeo Yeah I feel this way too. I thought the show was amazing until jiji was introduced. He reminds me a lot of Dorito guy from Demon Slayer with his over exagerated faces. Kinda funny, I was neutral about Dorito guy despite him getting a lot of flak from the whole commmunity, but I find Jiji just too obnoxious. Hope his personality shifts for the better on season 2. |

@ZER0PT What do you mean episodic and no real story? Bro you call it basic shounen and then don't even know what that is? Did Bleach have a real story 12 episodes in or was it slice of life and monster of the day? Did Naruto have one (reminder that Zabuza was episode 15/16 and no main enemy or story was shown yet)? It has already enough hints were the story is going. Just give it time to develop if you personally don't see it yet.
Most people can tell already that this will be great, but it is still in the character introduction and world building phase. Bleach had a very similar and lenghty approach but DanDaDan is doing it even better.

| Uhhh that's it? Are they really ending this season that abruptly? That was weird. In any case, I'm liking the series, it's got a good mix of snappy action and cool hip tracks that make the battles feel much more visually packed and interesting. The alien and spirit part is a good excuse for the author to go in full creative mode and make not only the monsters have weird quirks and powers but also transformations and that add to the stupidness of it all. I'm not keen on the romance aspect just yet and I feel like some characters like Aira and Ken suffer because of it. Momo is the one with the most expressions and that makes the plot move forward and Jiji provides a good balance by being both energetic, funny and positive. From the cover of season 2 I'm guessing this spa isn't gonna be just a mini arc and will actually be quite relevant, right? We'll see. |

| The Okarun and Jiji singing and dancing scene was funny. The fact that everyone begged Seiko to let the female anatomy model live in their house was hilarious. I wonder why turbo granny and Jiji were wrestling with each other. Jiji is so cute. I love him. Jiji and Okarun getting to know each other was really wholesome. Why did Okarun not mention the rustling bushes? Everyone in the town seems sus af. The hot spring part made me extremely uncomfortable. I would dare say that scene is so much worse than the one in episode 1. I wish Aira would've gone with them so Silky could've helped out. Or have Okarun and Jiji come with her. Or at least Jiji because he probably knew it was coed. The manager should've mentioned it was coed. Damn everyone is complaining about the fact that it ended on a cliffhanger. Those same people are the ones who bitch about the drop in production. Also from what I gathered the next arc is 20 chapters long so they had to end it here. If you're so pressed, go read the manga. I'm tired of the constant complaining. For right now this is 10/10 for me. I loved watching this anime, it was a real treat and quite refreshing to be honest. Momo and Okarun made a great pair, the story was both hilarious and emotional at times. I can't really say I hated anything about this season. The animation was phenomenal and I loved all the purposefully done silly faces. This anime truly lived up to its hype (unlike CSM and JJK lol) |

| Never liked Jiji in the manga and feel even more dislike having to hear him so I find his presence grating. Other than that I have loved this show, will even accept the abrupt end to the season. This might even end up being my fav anime of the year, still need to start Re:Zero, only possible that has chance of dethroning Dandadan for me I think. |

| the whole thing started with a grape attempt and ended at that.Such a cliffhanger.Iam impressed the two boys befriended each other .I would have prefered they talked more about their past than bicker about love interest.Honestly we don't have much data about their familial past except a bit of Momo.Imo Jiji's jolly attitude might be an induced compensation due to the turn of events in his family and his insomnia.Would be interesting how they proceed in s2.Eagerly waiting for it |

| Finished Dandadan season 1. Excellent adaptation. They nailed all the characters moments and the animation was phenomenal. My only complaint is that they had to end in the middle of an arc. It’s a shame this couldn’t be 24 episodes, but at least the animators have a good schedule with this show. I just love the characters so much in Dandadan and it’s been great to see all their personalities flourish on screen. 9/10 for me. |

| When one of my best friends linked me a moment from this final episode that he told me was amazing, i correctly decided to not spoil myself and wait for my first day off job to finish the series. Oh, yeah, the boys randomly singing Slam Dunk ED and OP was in fact the highlight of the highlights. Especially since... the episode and show altogether had a way too sudden conclusion. Okarun with all his flaws and insecurity still >> Jiji for now, even with a justification for a very different amount of screentime so far. In hindsight, i realized i wouldn't have enjoyed the show as much as most people, even if i didn't dislike it at all too, it's no less than a 7/10 and will return for season 2 even if not with the same anticipation of this one. Momo is undeniably my favorite character, a relatable badass main lead that always stayed likable. |
