| Truly one the most grotesque episodes I have seen, especially from bleach. Props to the animators for this. Mayuri truly is a psycho. Also I can’t believe twitter haters went ballistic on the CGI that was only few seconds, they made it seem like it was the whole episode. It didn’t bother me |

| Mayuri is still the biggest weirdo of Soul Society, that's for sure. I love the new renditions of the old, OG ost's. Feels so nostalgic. The new ones are also great, Shiro Sagisu never disappoints. The CGI was fine, and the rest of the animation has been pretty damn good. |

| Not a huge fan of the CGI. Komamura's Bankai CGI was handled much better. I wonder why they have to use CGI in the first place. Is it really difficult to anime a giant hand? Otherwise, great episode as always. Mayuri is such an awesome character. |

| Not a bad episode in an of itself, but definitely the weakest of the cour so far. Mayuri's VA is always on point though, what a performance. At least the second half of the fight should be more interesting. Plus, Kyoraku reading the poem for this week means that next week we're getting at least the start of one of the best fights in the series. |

| honestly as someone who is going to school for animation, i get why theyre choosing to use the cgi. i've noticed its been a subject of debate with the new cours, and for good reason. sometimes it looks pretty bad, but other times they manage to pull it off. especially for the hand, its way easier to animate that thing in 3d than trying to keep the forms consistent with hand drawn. but hey, it doesn't look too bad. good episode as always, it was cool to see the big baby. the nerves being on the outside of the baby grossed me out in the best way possible. hoping we see nemu kick some ass soon too. |

Idk if you saw the poem at the end or not?? but it's following the manga directly and we will begin with the other big fight of this cour.. I reckon they are doing it side by side with mayuri fight probably ending the episode after this one?.

| From the very beginning Mayuri is an absolute menace, the weirder the opponent is, the more he's engaged with the fight, IF you can even call it a fight when it's just a very combative experimentation much to the joys of Mayuri himself ofcourse. Not even the left hand of the Soul King would not deter him from his lunacy, his drive to make everything that excites him is terrifying. THEY should be scared. Would've loved to see the Brain and Brawn combo in this fight though, but Mayuri himself outplayed both Kenpachi and Pernidas so welp. |

| This episode 8 was just ok, I liked a lot the fight in the manga but something in the anime was not at the same pace. Also I found a bit lame how they depicted the nerves powers of Pernida, was expecting some super cool design or cg adaptation for the anime, while it looked just a bit cheap. They did better with this TYBSHDKBLCH arc. I hope the fight will 'grow' with episode 9 coming very soon. |

| Ok Kurotsuchi was really cool in this episode. In my opinion he is one of the most interesting captains. You never know what move he is going to pull out next because he’s always coming up with new techniques. He really bodied this fight and I love seeing his Bankai. He is super funny because he never shows that he is scared but rather excited to fight new enemies and learn more about their techniques. |

| WTF Kenpachi got destroyed there... but this Soul King's hand is OP as well to be able to manipulate the nerves, but against Mayuri this is something else, what can I say after witness a baby giving birth to a nerves baby who absorbed the soul king's hand lmao, this is absolutely crazy |

| Mayuri fights are always a pleasure. The way he fights is always much more interesting than your average Bleach battle and it always has the feel of an acid trip lol. Honestly a stand out episode in what is otherwise an okay season. |
| Mayuri always has some the freakiest fights as his enemies always suffer gruesome deaths. Captain Mayuri is the definition of Mad Scientist unleashed. The three great geniuses of Bleach are Mayuri, Urahara, and Aizen. |

| Episode 8 was easily the worst one so far. The animation took a serious dive in quality—everything about the hands and the giant baby looked awful. It felt like the team just gave up on making these designs even remotely visually appealing. We didn’t need to see Uryu defeating Renji again to start the episode. It added nothing and felt like an unnecessary recap, wasting valuable time. Speaking of wasted time, the two seconds of Bazz B talking with the two Quincy girls was completely pointless. It did nothing to add tension or move the plot forward in any way. Kurotsuchi repeating himself three times in the first five minutes was unbearable. It was such a waste of time and added nothing to the episode. The fight between him and the Left Hand of the Soul King wasn’t any better—uninspired and downright boring. But the most frustrating part? Kurotsuchi’s explanation about using Quincy abilities to skywalk. We’ve already seen plenty of characters flying around the Soul King’s palace without any justification, so this attempt to “explain” it only made the inconsistencies more obvious. It felt like the writers were trying to patch up a plot hole but ended up drawing even more attention to it. For an episode based on something that happened in the manga, it somehow felt like filler. Between the terrible animation, repetitive dialogue, and poorly handled fights, it’s hard to believe this is supposed to be part of one of Bleach’s most important arcs. |

| Another crazy episode. I never thought I would like Kurotsuchi as much as I do now, but now I have realized that he is my favorite character. You never know what twisted thing he is about to do next, and that keeps things interesting. (9/10) |
