| Extremely tired of all this Yhwach bs. Couldn't care less. Saw someone make a comparison post between him and Aizen. This guy has nothing on Aizen lol. Ichigo trained and awakened whatnot and the result is, nah I'd win. |

| Another overhyped episode. Yhwach not using the Almighty feels like it only exists to set up the moment where Ichigo pulls out his sword. While that’s fine in concept, dedicating an entire filler fight to this and having Ichigo hold his own against Yhwach to such an extent just screams lazy writing to me. Yes, there were some good moments in the fight from an animation perspective, but for the most part, it felt like a DBZ-style battle with two streaks of light clashing over and over. It lacked substance and creativity, leaving it feeling hollow despite the visual polish. The human world scene was even worse. It seemed to exist solely to give Ichigo’s friends some screen time, trying to milk a cheap emotional reaction from fans. But it didn’t work. It didn’t hit. The earth-shaking without any real stakes behind it made the entire sequence fall completely flat. Changing the order of scenes from the manga to the anime doesn’t help either. Some of the scenes feel awkward and out of place compared to what’s happening in the Soul King’s palace, disrupting the overall flow and pacing. And seriously, why are Ichigo’s human friends even here? They contribute nothing to the story and have no bearing on the actual plot. Their presence feels like pure fanservice, designed to elicit a reaction rather than serve any meaningful purpose. |

| That was such a good episode. In total Bleach fashion, the dialogue between Ichigo and Ywhach sucked ass but animation more than made up for it. I'm still not a fan of Ichigo being the godchild of 15 different races with all the blessings and abilities of a literal god but I guess if his opponents are gonna be this haxed then it's something to let by. 5/5 |
