| So, Tempest became too influential and someone decided to collapse their economy using the collective financial power of the union? And all this thanks to a monopoly foreign currency? Diablo directly criticizing the power struggle between different alliances of states? If this episode weren't an adaptation of a fairly old LN chapter, I would have thought that this arc, like the last MHA episode, hit too hard on current politics. @ly444999 Japan? Militarization? Slime has always promoted globalization and worldwide cooperation. And I am more than sure that this arc criticizes the struggle for influence and markets that hinders progress. |

I don't know what everyone has with the "tournament arc". The tournament is just part of the festival and not a separate arc. I think the name "tournament arc" sparks false expectations, which is why I mention this. I doubt it will last more than one or two episodes.

Right. I think the conversations the old man was having were about keeping Tempest from becoming a financial powerhouse, so makes sense she'd be involved with the money issues.

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

| I guess the kids didn't know Uncle Rimuru's job. No wonder they and their teacher would be shocked. But Hinata as the kids' chaperone? That's cute. Oh wow. Wasn't expecting that music concert. Tbh I was more impressed with the looks of Shion and Shuna than the actual music. It's kind of impressive that Shion's music isn't as terrible as her cooking. Lady Luminous visited Tempest in a maid outfit. That's badass. But I don't think I'll ever fully understand Japan's obsession with it. The rest of the episode was good too. Tempest's money problem is interesting. I wonder how they'll solve it. I also wonder how Rimuru will deal with Yuuki and the blonde loli. The show seemed to depict Yuuki in a shady way whenever he was not with Rimuru. So, it always bugged me when Rimuru acted all chummy with him. Like, either of you do something already. Finally, the tournament will happen in the next episode. |
| Man, Shion and Shuna's musical duet was so good. And they looked absolutely gorgeous in those dresses! So refined~ So a skill that allows Rimuru's subordinates to borrow power from him, huh? Now that sounds dope. Wonder if Luminous has other ulterior motives to grant such valuable skill. Martial Arts Tournament next episode. Looking forward to it! |

| What a good episode. It not only portrayed orchestral music, more worldbuilding regarding the magicules research and Honata babysitting the kids but a problem at hand to be dealt with as well as some mean actors working behind the scenes. This is the kind of stuff I was expecting in this part of the season. |

| Tempest has excellent music, excellent breakthroughs on Hipokute Herbs, the strongest chaperones you could ever ask for, and a vampire demon lord giving a slime some power. They can think of something to get them out of this "lack of liquid assets" bind! |

| Damn when I thought things couldn´t get better, we get Shion and Shuna performing in the Orchestra. Kinda felt Rimuru fell for them all over again, I mean with those looks they were pulling who wouldn't fall for them? Not gonna lie having Shion come up with good ideas is great but kinda out of place from her usual self, but Diablo prasing her and acknowledging her as No1 secretary made the moment even funnier. |

| The concert had Valentine initiating cultural exchange, and I think the research presentation itself just gave them a new perspective on the nature of magic itself. I was wondering who the two under the watch list are, I think the Rossz girl is one of them, and so who's the other one, Yuuki? XD Ah yes a little economic warfare now and then while you're at it. LOL |
