| I am loving this season. I'll admit the animation is a step down but not bad. I also do wish the artstyle didn't make it look like every other anime it's fine but you missed that uniqueness. Now this was a well pace episode that does a good job of catching you up. This is a show I look forward to every week because it really captures that desire to climb and do whatever you want to get it. We are also learning why many don't like Rachel but she is very effective in her role. This is the perfect snake character. You know she is a snake when Khun is telling everyone else not to get close to her. Please give me more. |

KHUN MY GOAT IS BACK. Ok they actually cooked finally. This felt like season 1 and the Khun and Rachel twist was so well done I was over mad as hell thinking Khun was being manipulated by her, whole time he’s pulling all the strings.
First of all, man the visualisation of Edin Dan’s speed abilities is so cool it’s clearly heavily influenced by the flash tapping into the speed force and lowkey looks better than the flash movie lmao. Thought Khun was completely going off the deep end when we found out about forcibly recruiting people to climb the tower, but his heart is in the right place. The Penkin OST during the team meeting when he was telling them all to not get attached to Rachel was so fucking fire too. This episode is his best work on this season for sure.
On Viole side, team building seems to be going well, but Yihwa still understandably hesitant to trust Viole. We FINALLY getting to see the red hair eye patch chick that I’ve seen on anitwt for so long. Supposed to be a fan favourite so can’t wait to see what she can do

He is probably leaving it all to Bam to pass judgement, and if Bam will not kill her, Khun will most likely do. But boy, Khun really is resisting the urge to put that knife into Rachel instead of that apple.
I should probably continue reading the manhwa - it already grew to a few hundreds more chapters since I last stopped so there might some good things to see.

The hate she gets is astounding and to this day I think she may have the most dedicated haters or be the most hated character ever. Simply check official site of Tower of god manhwa. It's free. I've been reading it years ago and top comments per chapter were always something hateful about Rachel, with 40,000+ likes. I bet the numbers have grown even more by now. Even in chapters where there's no Rachel, there's a 50/50 chance for the top comment to be about Rachel being a bitch etc. There must be like a cult out there hating Rachel lol. But sure, the Author doesn't hate her and likely has plans for her. I don't know if that opinion has changed throughout the years though. I'm afraid if he paints her in good light one day, people will riot and turn against the author lol. The pressure is real. For instance, I have a lil doubt that Rachel is misunderstood. God forbid if that's the case lol. Tons of people won't forgive the author I can bet. |

| Lmfao... I just love how the trailer tricked us into thinking this season was going to be adapted perfectly. Turns out it's just getting worse and worse. I can't believe how garbage the direction is and how everything feels so out of place. The storyboarding as a result just feels awkward to watch. I'm glad atleast that I could hear Hwaryun again. The studio change was a bad choice and it's probably going to result into TOG losing it standing. People did not shit on S1 for it's animation or art style; it was pretty unique and there were some critics about it. But, the overall direction was atleast fucking watchable. This is a joke. |

| With the flashback of Bam's old team the differences between the character designs are more obvious and I like the ones in S1 more. That aside I was relieved when Khun said that he knows Rachel killed Bam but I don't think he knows (yet) that Bam is alive but he may at least be thinking there's a chance he is. Regarding Rachel, I wonder why she is faking being crippled, maybe it's because it garners more sympathy for her and has people like Khun helping her out. Nonetheless, she's being watched so her days putting on that facade should be numbered. On a side note the new guy Ran looks a lot like Khun, guessing they're related. |

| Strong episode, even if it's mostly static and sometimes feel like visual novelization of the manwha... (and characters like to change drip, clothes, haircut, did they think we don't recognize Khun Aguero Agnes? And I feel like Ehwa also looked better but... long time not seeing her) really good episode, i don't mind this so far but but when acton scenes happen... oh boy, that hurt, those 10 second long moving static pictures hurt, espesially if you rewatched season 1 before season 2. |
