I also enjoy stories that discuss real life issues, but tackle those in fantastic ways (Darling in the Franxx, Artiswitch, Planetarian, Tatami Galaxy). On another note, I also really enjoy creative and fun character designs that range from kakkoii to kawaii to ecchi (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Fate series, Queen's Blade). What I don't like are pointlessly nihilistic and overly grimdark depression-fests and uninspired isekais. |
