it’s cool preordering megamix as your first one that must’ve been super exciting. i’ve definitely stayed up all night trying to unlock stuff too so i get it. and honestly i’m kinda surprised you liked playing with joycons. they get a lot of hate but sometimes they actually work.

your game idea sounds really cool. i like how you’re pulling from stuff like mothy and evillious and building your own world around it. also i looked up elnea kingdom today and damn everything’s super detailed like even the babies which surprised me lol. it’s clear you’re putting a lot into making something deep and real not just surface-level stuff. it’s got a lot of character and feels like something you’ve been thinking about for a long time.

getting deep into something you care about can be awkward but it’s also where real growth happens. looking back on your old videos might feel weird now but it just shows how much you cared. every rough edit or janky frame was still a step forward. and now you’ve got this big vision with characters and stories and it all ties together. that’s awesome. did you enjoy making those videos back then?

i got into kikuo kairiki bear and maretu all around the same time so i’ve always had a soft spot for their stuff. masarada’s music always feels worth the wait. and yeah i liked what you said about teto’s synthv tuning. you can really tell how much care went into it.

same~ getting into all kinds of producers both big and small is one of my favorite things about the community. there’s just so much creativity everywhere. it’s cool seeing how different producers express themselves through their sound and the synths they use. like their personality just kind of leaks into the music and that connection really sticks.

omg i love how you’re collecting them not just to collect but also for your hobby game?? that’s so cool. physicals definitely feel more special too. i get why you’re hunting for lumi, vy1, and vy2 even if they’re pricey, it’s like a little treasure hunt lol. also the fact that teto was your first ever drawing?? that’s adorable, she really feels like she’ll always have a soft spot for you even if your favs keep changing.

i remember my very first make song was ievan polkka. at first i didn’t get it, but then i kept seeing it and it really grew on me. eventually i decided to listen to more and got hooked. i knew project diva games existed but didn’t play immediately because of school stuff, so i started with the psp version since it was easy to play back then. i even had a ps vita, and after experiencing the project diva games on psp, i decided to get all the games on vita too.

one of my fave songs to play back then on project diva was sadistic.music∞factory. whenever i play it, my head be like “fight me miku” pls don’t laugh at me 😭

nowadays i still play but mostly megamix on switch. also love hunting for new songs whenever i get free time. there was even a time i made another twitter/x account just to support producers whose songs i enjoyed but had low views, so i wanted to cheer them on lol. and they always reply back.

whenever you feel like it i’d love to hear about your concept game. also, who are your favorite producers?

yis! it’s kinda like how kaai yuki’s voice had that haunting feel, but rei adds this sharp, techy edge that makes her feel so modern.

you definitely need to put miku and teto in your collection! seriously, we need way more songs of them and especially if they are together XD but yea honestly, you seem very knowledgeable. i can’t really think of any vsynths im into that you don’t know. nana, galaco, yamine renri, iroha, satou sasara, meika, xin hua, sukone, hakaine, chifuyu, and moreeee but i’m like 100% sure you know all of these.

haha my friend did the same thing back then when the hole got released. i like her duet too with defoko in dependancer~ hmm, queen of venus, i wanna type so much about it but let’s just say rei singing those lyrics feels like she’s pouring out all her longing and trying to figure out who she is.

speaking of her duet with defoko, i was just listening to this earlier. it’s one of my faves too.


i’ve always found rei’s vocal hauntingly beautiful~ it’s already hard to find someone outside mal who appreciates these kinds of vocals, so meeting one here is a real surprise for me.

me too! i used rei as my pfp on different sites too. oh and it’s nice knowing you also know kiro and denka! i actually kept listing songs i got into and ended up with 25, so i had to randomly cut it down to 15 haha.

Same, I am a brokie rn, so I can't get anything lol. If I could I would, so I can support the franchise and studio. It'll be Rena Andou merch, my favorite character.

So true, the studio did a great job in that aspect, especially in the scene where Chihatan retreated after nearly being trapped in the mud pit, then they regrouped and fired the flare to setup their next attack, with Miho looking for the enemy. Silence for those few seconds were so eerie and yet so cool indeed. In a sense it reflected what the Japanese were like in WW2. Quiet and observant of the enemy, and when they attacked it was quick, in small groups and incisive. Before they all retreated again to silently stalk the enemy. Made the show even more great.

I wish I had friends who watch GuP, I tried getting them into it but they think it's silly. :(

Fr, those 2 battles had my jaw dropping the whole time lol. Even the build up to them too. The Highschool teams coming to Ooarai's aid, and Chihatan changing their ways to different variants of retreating lol. Even nearly beating Ooarai. So satisfying!

I loved The White Death reference with Jouko too, she seems really cool. One of the reasons why I love GuP. As a bit of a WW2 geek before, I am able to pick up alot of the references in the show.

Pain, yeah sadly not many people know about GuP where I live. So definitely no screening here either lol. I am looking forward to it! Sadly, I'm sure Ooarai would win, but I love how the studio made the story in such a way that you also support the other teams, with the all battles
very entertaining . From BBC Freedom, to Chihatan and now Jatkosota.

Agreed, that's why I'm glad when I find other GuP enjoyers. Such a unique anime, and its's actually good. I especially enjoy the OST. Absolute bangers all of them, especially Yuki no Shigun and Sakkijarven Polka.
