| I'm going to give this a 10 because I feel it is good for what it is in terms of just straight up adapting the story and also because of the animation, but I didn't totally love the execution. I fucking hate the two-part movie length format they went with for this third part of the final season. It's too much crammed in together. I loved the manga's ending, but sitting through an hour and a half episode of that ending drained me. It felt rushed. It didn't grip me the way those final chapters did during the last few months of the manga's serialization. I know it was mostly a fight scene, but it felt more impactful in the manga because those moments were given time to develop. I feel like maybe they shouldn't have split the final season into three separate parts. |

| Way too many "final seasons". Way too many slow moments. Way too many cringe people, like Mikasa, Armin and many others. Way too many "depressed people who looks like they want to die but continue to push, just drop dead already". Way too few MC or SC deaths. Way too long time between so many seasons that you forget what even happened. Too cringe to re-watch. Way too few civilians dead by crushing or eaten. Which is the only reason I continued to watch this since the first season. Kind of a "meh" series. Glad it's over though. Overall, likely a 6/10 for all seasons combined. I think the only good seasons were the first few. Now we can move on to better series. |

The same for 5s and still there are. So the side of 5 is worse than 1s because it’s saying something is not right.
Let me add that look at the rating, it fell hard in just one day. So don’t look at this thread as proof.

| never a fan of ending, it was bad, but compared to GOT ending it's still good. Production wise it was 5/5, good animation and action sequences, at last Eren conversation makes it 4/5. idk why manga readers are so butthurt regarding this ending, i mean it's not an amazing closure to the series, but an acceptable ending from the show like AOT. not sure if I'll be remembered this after the ending, because it was 10/10 for me before the rumbling, but i started to lose interest with each successive sequel, the quality of writting also dropped after s4p1, so I can't give it a 10/10 now, but still solid 8/10 for overall series. Final Goodbye to the AOT, the ANIME that made me an anime fan. Truly one of the kind ever made.  |

| Just completed finale special and feels like huge part of life has came to conclusion. The series that will forever be my #1, not the series I got into anime with but the one that took love for my anime medium to whole new level. Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Reiner, Jean, Connie, Pieck, Annie, Gabi, Falco and all others Sayonara. Thank you Isayama for this amazing creation.<3 "To the series I'll always love, Farewell." |
