| This was definitely a nice episode for both Akari fans (I guess I’ll switch to her first name too lol) and Shiori fans alike. We got an excellent scene with Shiori in the nurse’s office, she finally made a big move on Jiro by getting a big on top of each other kiss, even if she was initially gonna go back on it I’m gonna give her points anyway lol, I hope she can keep the momentum because she’s gonna need to keep the hard hitters coming with the amount of progress Akari is constantly making. Also rip the fact they got walked in on but I’m glad it didn’t ruin the moment as it usually does in these types of situations. And of course with any Shiori progress comes great moments with Akari, Jiro realizing the reason behind Akari calling him by his last name and then hitting her with her first name a dozen times was great lol. I also enjoyed her bit at the Starbucks where the baristas noticed she was feeling down and gave her extra whipped cream, just a little wholesome moment outside the usual Jiro stuff. And that final bit could have possibly soured my opinion of Akari a bit if she kept the lie that they smashed going but thankfully she reeled it back once she found out he didn’t do the deed with Shiori, that was a really good moment tho, and some nice fanservice too lol. And Mei being revealed to be popular with girls is interesting, I saw someone mention before that she seemed to like Shiori and I didn’t think that myself but now I think it could be possible, but I don’t think that means Jiro should just go for Akari tho. Also lord I did not mean to type this much lol. |

| this show is such a guilty pleasure i almost can't handle it some times it's the perfect kind of teetee cringe overdose + 1 for turning the classic kiss interrupt to a EX version of it normally don't have a hard time picking but either Akari and Shiori are perfectly fine but Akari 99% being the winner with all the W she takes the childhood friend never had a chance unless this somehow goes away from the norm |

| best episode till now. i'm really starting to like this anime and akari too. not gonna lie in the first 3-4 episodes i didn't like akari a lot but from the past few episodes since her personality and feelings are shown more i'm liking her a lot. today's episode just made me like her even more. she can suddenly become really cute lol like when she wanted to be called by first name in this episode. we got some developments with shiori as well, it was about time. it feels so refreshing to see the girl falling for the guy first. she's so hopelessly in love with him, she herself doesn't realise how much. just the thought that jiro did it with shiroi is enough to make her meccha depressed. i'm not gonna lie i was in disbelief and my first thought was wtf am i watching when akari started stripping. when i overcame my disbelief i understood that she loves and trusts him enough to do that. it could just be for the sake of fan-service but i think they really wanted to show us more than that. pretty heartwarming to see that though. do they realise how much it's gonna hurt us viewers too if they show scenes like that and thoughts, feelings of akari like that and in the end if she doesn't win? i'm gonna be devastated. akari's lie though lmao, that really was a good one. she got jiro good and even confirmed that he indeed didn't do it with shiori in the nurse office. a little surprise is still in store for her though, she's stil unaware that they both kissed, "accidentally" yes but they did. man they should just get together already. 6/5 episodes. i thought this would be a cringe romcom but boy was i wrong. this is even better than shikimori. gonna rate this 8/10 for now. if this continues and we get a somewhat satisfying and/or happy ending then it's an easy 10. |

| We got a spicy episode as this one covered 3 1/2 chapters which is a concern for me in terms of pacing. I just hope they don't rush the story now that we are six episodes in. Shiori steals an accidental kiss from Jiro and Akari feels jealous after a misunderstanding with them in the nurses office. Akari's feelings for Jiro is getting stronger while her infatuation with her crush slowly fades. That accidental kiss might have put some more separation between Jiro and Shiori, so it did more harm than good. |

| The classic falling onto someone then kissing them, not long followed by the talking right in front of someone and them somehow not being able to hear you. Even with these I still somewhat liked the episode with its cute reactions from both Akari and Shiori. |

| Even though it's accidental that's a massive step for Shiori compared to last episode, it seems we'll see a seesaw of progress here between Akari and Shiori. Next week is probably a summer festival of some sort because it mentioned fireworks. |

| Akari really needs to confess to him if she really wants him. And Jiro's too thickheaded to realize both the girls like him lol, so all it'll take either one of them to confess. He seems to really like both but thinks he's unworthy of them especially Akari, although he does seem to be liking Akari much more now. |
