| I'm so glad the best Love Live group, Aqours, is back! Still, I don't really know how to feel, this is nice, beautiful even, but I was expecting more comedy? Like, when the episode started and we saw Yohane literally cry to her mom in a silly way I thought "will this really be a goofy Konosuba-like parody anime but with Aqours? 10000/10!", but then the episode changed drastically and became really emotional, I still liked it a lot don't get me wrong, but I hope they introduce more comedy, this doesn't have to be a sad plot, it was born from an April's fools joke after all. I love the visuals, the songs, Yohane ain't my #1 Aqours member but she quickly showed us she can take the protagonist role with no problems, I wanna see more! I Can't way to see Chika, Mari, and my favorite-girl-ever Ruby! 😍 |

| I'm glad to see Yohane as the main focus of the story. The more dialogue they give to her, the more times I can listen to her adorable-cool voice... or I'll just say: the more I see one of my favourite characters as a focus of the story, the better! and what's more, the dog (or something) is talking... | It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| I never watched love live, but this episode was pretty intriguing, guess I'll stick around for now. also, that ED omggg amazing! |
| It's great to see Yohane as the protagonist this time. We also got to see Hanamaru. Lalilaps and Yohane make an interesting duo. With upcoming episodes, it will be interesting to see what the rest of the Aqours members new roles will be like. |

| bruh why does the music go so hard on their actual April fools joke turned into a real anime lol feel like post sunshine movie the series has been dropping bangers after bangers for the solo performances at first i thought it was a another world idol anime which would still be a first but the modern looking city and world is kinda just mixed together with fantasy and i have no clue what they plan to do with this wolf was giving off some ominous vibes super curious to what the other girls roles are gonna be lol i haven't listen to yohane in a hot min she sounded very different almost thought it was a different VA from what i remembered Zura...sounds and acts about the same |

| Rather underwhelmed. Not too sure if I even was whelmed, to tell the truth. It doesn't seem to want to lean seriously into either the fantasy or Idol aspect yet, leading to it just feeling rather hollow. I'm not fond of the world design either, it appears less like a different world and more like a reskin of our own. If you just read the subtitles, apart from the mention of magic towards the end you might not even be able to tell there's a new style. I'll carry on, but the next episode preview seems like it's going to frontload the reintroductions of a good half of the cast, which I can't see working well. |

| This is quite a damning statement I'm about to make, given that the isekai genre is full of incredibly braindead world building, but here goes: this premiere showcases the most braindead, half-assed world building I've ever seen in a fantasy anime. The setting is, for all intents and purposes, just modern Japan with some small fantasy elements as window dressing rather than an actual fantasy world: they have modern urban metropolises, cars, trains, an idol industry and all sorts else, so even with the talking wolf and pig this doesn't feel like a fantasy anime at all. And at that point, why even bother with the fantasy elements if you can't be bothered to actually commit to it? On top of that, there's another glaring problem: Yohane is still incredibly obnoxious as she was in the main show, but because she's now the main character it's even more overt and unavoidable. I was hoping they would somehow tone it down in a setting that wouldn't just be "It's Yohane, not Yoshiko!" repeated ad infinitum, but clearly not. It's very clear from this first episode that this anime was not made because they have an actual story to tell, but because they felt like milking Aqours a little bit more to kill some time between seasons of Superstar. Suppose I shouldn't have expected much more than that from an April Fool's joke turned anime. At least the musical performance was good, I guess? |

| That pet talks too much. It's fucking annoying,,, And the rest was boring. I want more Yuri Where is my Riko!! My little lesbian princess will gay things up, and she is a girl magnet so everyone is going to go for her,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES It was an ok first episode,,,, But I'm waiting for my Riko to make this anime as gay as it can be Hehehehehehe  |
