The new voices sound cool. Aw man, this is the remake I'm looking forward to in 2024. Thoughts? | Both main VA are the same. Great, because I can't imagine anyone else voicing Holo but Ami. Passione is getting a lot projects lately. I'm a bit weary about this studio, because their anime tend to give that unsettling vibes. |

| I fail to see why they need a remake. I read the novels and the anime was pretty close to it. They skip a few parts but that's a given since you can't adapt every single monologue in the novel. I wish they continued the story, I mean the romance. Like let them travel closer to Holo's homeland. |

No need to Start over from scratch. |

Probably because it’s been like 15 years and for some reason can’t use the old art style so they just decided to start over I may sound like this but I'll still watch this because Spice&Wolf is on my top 5 fav anime. I have great expectations getting to re-live this in a new perspective. I also bought some of the novels to show my support. |

| passione's last "reboot" was higurashi gou/sotsu, which wasn't great, but the visuals weren't bad or janky or cheap looking. hopefully all the blame for that show goes to ryukishi and the studio gets this one right free of his meddling. |

| Not sure about the studio involved and how the anime will turn out, but Kevin Penkin is great here and overall, it's cool to see this get a modern day remake adaptation. Especially if they adapt as much as possible and try to get to the end somewhat. I liked season 1, more mixed on season 2 but I'll see how this remake turns out to be next year. Maybe if it's good enough, I'll finally be tempted to read that collector edition that I got a couple years back. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

| I really like that Holo still retains her charm even with the design changes. That being said, I’m still mixed on the overall new looks of this remake, especially with Passione of all studios being in charge of this. Still gonna be a worthwhile watch, hopefully, as I’m someone who did really love s1 of the OG series from Brain’s Base, though quite mixed with s2. |
