| Wow, I hate Aqua as a character. Also I see what some people meant by "reading Wikipedia out loud" levels of exposition. That was a great gif at the end of the episode but also what a Youtuber tier way to just end the episode mid conversation. Says a lot about the pacing |
| Fine episode with a decent development regarding the revenge plot, basically Aqua protecting his sister from the bad industry but she ended up joining her mother's agency which is back in the business from now, while they're attending school now |

| Man, the movie length first episode absolutely spoiled me lol, this one went by so fast but that could also be because it’s a good show. And I’m happy that I really liked this episode after the sky high bar the first episode set, this plot is super interesting after all. The methods Aqua used to keep Ruby from being an idol were wild, and now Strawberry Productions is back to producing idols, if it becomes a reality I’m excited to see what the group ends up looking like, I’m also just glad to see Ruby happy lol. And I especially liked the bit with Gotanda, the fact he lives with his mom is funny and the moments where she kept interrupting the serious talk was great tension relief lol, but besides that I also liked their talk. And it was nice to see a teen Kana Arima at the end, looks like she thinks highly of Aqua and that’s no surprise lol. And those were some damn nice OP and ED visuals, as well as the song for the ED, I really liked it. I’m looking forward to seeing how interesting the plot gets from here giving how intrigued I am already lol. |

| As a long time manga reader, I'm so so so so SO happy to see Oshi no Ko receive the adaptation it deserves. There is so much to comment on how perfect this anime has been, but I don't have the energy to type a whole essay. HAD CHILLS THE ENTIRE ENDING SONG! QUEEN BEE IS PERFECT FOR THIS SHOW! SO MUCH EMOTION AND LOVE IS PACKED INTO THIS ADAPTATION |

| Well we have Aqua and Ruby introducing their personalities. I'm really happy that Ruby is trying to follow in her mother's footsteps but also worried that this path isn't easy at all. Aqua is "working" with the director as requested, but is really focused on her revenge (oh my god I've seen too many characters getting hurt because of it). |

| Pretty solid episode that matches the pacing and energy of the chapter. Feel like it felt obnoxiously short/empty in comparison to the first episode, but to be fair... can't really top the masterpiece of the first episode.Otherwise, really enjoyed the episode as the production was pretty great. And Kana is still super cute! You can tell she's toned down and matured quite a bit. It's pretty iconic.Speaking of theme songs...those are very catchy, probably the most catchiest ones we've seen all season IMO. |
| A really good opening sequence sets up where we left off with what happened to Ai, years later. Ruby is really trying to get into the idol role but along the way she'll most probably encounter a lot of hardships depressingly common to the industry. As a result, Aquamarine is not having any of it and his perspective is gloom and leaned towards protecting Ruby. Now the baby actor is back so... |

| Aqua crushing his sister's dreams like that is cold, but it makes sense considering what happened to Ai. It's more surprising that Ruby is still so enthusiastic about being an idol. |
