| Gotta love how Brad got nerfed to a goofy dork upon becoming an ally, haha. So far this feels very textbook shōnen but not necessarily in a bad way. It reminds me of quite a few of my favorites, so I'm expecting to take a liking to it in no time. |

| Mash is such a good boy. That Lucci dude was a classist dick and Irvine already appeared as a love interest. Only 3% of the candidates make it in? Hah, I find that hard to believe. In any case, the gags have the usual bubblegum style of animation and I really dig the rapping in the soundtrack. Solid start so far. |

| Humor is not really working for me, but being like a parody of Harry Potter mixed up with One Punch Man makes it kinda fun to watch, it's okay overall. |

| Is that girl Aqua's long lost sister or was her clumsiness also part of her acting? Mash brute forced everything. Was another episode of typical shounen stuff. So far haven't seen anything impressive. |

| Dumbledore strikes in anime form calmly. Well the humor can be subjective but for me it's not funny but at least a bit funny which i still don't mind at all cause i'm just in love with mash's character like his stoicism XD So far Lemon and Finn are good characters with Lemon being cute living in her own delusion and all lmao and Finn being weirded out by Mash. |

| I liked the first episode well enough and was really looking forward to watching this episode since I usually love entrance exam episodes/arcs in stories, but wow this was really disappointing. Comedy was pretty bad, I did not laugh a single time aside from the random "god is dead" comment. A 3% exam pass rate and Mashle passed it just like that, somehow without anyone discovering that he can't use magic? I mean, I know that's literally the point of the story, the joke being he's so OP it seems he has magic, but the nature of the tests seemed incredibly basic. Nothing unique about it, besides the headmaster's test...I guess. And don't even get me started on that yellow-haired girl, she's annoying as hell. Hope she doesn't continue to be such a useless and annoying character, especially with her being the only female main character in this show (from what I could tell). |

| There's like straight up rip offs of Harry Potter in this anime lmao. From the Draco/McGonagall/Dumbledore to the whole maze setting and the interior shots of the key test scene, and even the banquet hall with the floating candles. This manga author reaaallly freaking loved HP it seems lol |

| Mash smashed his way into Easton Magic Academy. There was nothing that faced Mash or slowed him down during this entrance exam episode. The humor is hit or miss, but I am enjoying it. The stoic nature of Mash is what, oddly, keeps me entertained, and watching him crush everything magic related is satisfying. |
