| Be cool as heck is the motto of the village. I have say I was surprised that they laughed at Megumin wanting to learn explosion magic. For some reason I remember the entire town being crazy explosion magic lovers, guess I remembered wrong. This show honestly looks really fun. I really laughed hard in a couple of places. It looks Megumin is interesting enough to carry her own story. I already like a lot of the side characters too. They're chalked up with big personalities. |

| It's nice to watch something from the konosuba world again, I'm pretty interested to see how Megumin came to be lol. Crimson demon combat really embraces the chunni style huh lmao. That was a nice "eku-splosion!" at the end from Megumin, sure is nostalgic lol. |

| i mean it's nice it looks the same or more or less better visually with the same art style so that's nice can't say i noticed a change of studio it was alright first episode had some laughs i dunno im just not that big on Meg i like the whole cast of konosoba and not one character more and i had my fill with the cute chunnui girls from the movie so a whole series around that has me feeling like i would rather S3 just be here already and this as a OVA i will happily watch it regardless but i totally felt like i was trying to force myself to like this more than i did |

| Megumin's explosion mentor got me acting up |
| I think it was really interesting to find out how Megumin ended up wanting to get explosion magic basically cause wolbach revealed explosion magic to her. And I wont lie, the explosion animation was just beautiful. And it was even more interesting to see all the other people that developed around megumin including yunyun as well. It's a pretty great 1st episode so far I wont lie. I had a couple laughs but not as much overwhelming laughs as when dark, megumin, aqua and kazuma all together but it was still very enjoyable. Solid 8/10 for the 1st episode in my book. |

Megumin is a fun character when she's interacting with the main cast, but on her own there's not much going for her (even less so when you take explosion magic from her). The best parts of her backstory are the ones that focus on the funny people she meets, instead of on herself.If anyone in Konosuba deserves a spinoff Megumin most defo does. Vanir's spinoff, on the other hand, is funny throughout because Vanir himself is funny, regardless of what he does and who he interacts with. His spinoff is also more episodic instead of trying to tell a coherent story like Megumin's, so it naturally lends itself better to comedy. |

| So happy to see at least a part of Konosuba back, this time with our girl Megumin! This will be interesting to see her grow, and someday be as powerful as that mysterious mage. The art is amazing, just like in the original series and the comedy is very 'unexpected' in some scenes, which makes it better. Can't wait for more episodes! |

I've been waiting for this!! Megumin is too cute!!! It's great to finally see the animation version of this. I'm so glad they didn't make her oddly shaped like some scenes in Konosuba. Looking forward to Season 2, we know there will be another after they milk this one dry. |

| easily my most anticipated show this season, and the first episode did not disappoint (but seems like others would disagree) regardless I’m excited to see the rest of the episodes since Megumin is my favorite character from this series |

| I caught up on the original Konosuba to watch this day 1 over the last two weeks, I’m just missing the movie but I think I’m caught up enough now lol, especially since this is an origin story. And this was pretty good, it’s a new studio this time and they did a good job so far imo, art is pretty nice as well as the animations, and having a show based on Megumin who has a lot of the best moments in the original show is definitely awesome. Based on this first episode it’s hard to tell if this will be more plot focused or comedy focused, or a good mix of both, but I’m looking forward to more either way because Konosuba does have an interesting world outside of the usual hilarity. And it was really nice seeing Megumin’s family and life before meeting Kazuma and the others, the Crimson Demons were always kinda shrouded in mystery during the main show besides the fact they have silly sounding names so actually seeing more of them and what they’re about is really interesting, their weirdness doesn’t stop with their names that’s for sure lol. And looks like there’s plenty of new characters too, the mage at the beginning and the hooded character that bough her dad’s product, and of course all these new crimson demons, definitely a lot to enjoy along with the classic characters. And the OP at the end was very good too, I need to hear it a few more times to truly appreciate it tho. Definitely happy to finally see this come out despite the fact I didn’t have the 6 year wait lol. |

| They're back and in true form. YunYun is one of my favorites, and I think we're going to be seeing a whole lot of her in this series. Looks like the whiners, crybabies and other sour folk are out in force. Pay them no heed for they are scum! |

| It's not to hate Megumin but honestly she is the one that interests me the least in her story, the truth is that her "Explosion" seems like a joke to me. I would have even preferred Darkness in my opinion. Even so, what matters to me are Yunyun and Arue, I like those 2 like crimson demons. |

| Not one for this episode mainly since the humor did not click with me. I think what I like about Konosuba centers around Kazuma. This series seems to be more for moe slice of life fans. I respect the effort put into it though. |

| Well, it was a very good start I think! As a novel reader, I was hoping it would be a good adaptation and so far... I'd say it is a very good adaptation, I have no complaints, only good things to say : the pace is great, the VAs are great, the style of humor of the anime compliment/complement the book really well, the stuff they've added/modified are very much in the style of the original work, the few lines they've cut/shortened do not matter much, so... I have very high hope for the the future :)! I laughed the most at the "practice your poses/style" bit, but also really liked the megumin line asking yunyun who she is and then calling her her stalker haha. The episode also did a decent job at reminding us of how poor Megumin's family is and that she cares about Yunyun deep down. Very very good start! |
