| The fight animation is quite a letdown, but the fight itself is great with them just smiling and be like "literally me fr fr" lmao. THE HOT SPRING THO, that shit's just beautiful man. This is the kind of fanservices that I enjoy. |

| EXCALIBER I intended to drop this for good last week after episode 10, but today I was kind of itching to see what the next episode was like. So I opened up episode 11, and in the first minute we get Cid's ass.... and I remembered how legendary this show was. So needless to say, I've picked it back up again and will no doubt finish it through to the end of the season. |

| Thanks to Rose signing Cid up for that competition, he once more got forced into some make believe but actually true PLOT. But thankfully he went as shadow since he is committed to the mob act. Aurora the witch of calamity vs shadow made for a pretty cool fight. Too bad she was chained down and couldn't use her full power. Overall, Cid and his love of hot springs might be the solution shadow garden needs to get him to pay attention to them. |

| Bro, that intro scene killed me lmao, especially Alexia copying Cid. I am gonna need more Alexia, Beta and Rose interacting. Violet looks hell of a lot like Gamma, in fact that was my first thought when I saw her. But Cid immediately making his exit after defeating her was hilarious, gotta get his eminence-in-shadowy things out man. Girls be thicc, but Cid be the thiccest. Tf going on at the end there though, what did Cid summon. Also, they really like not completing their sentences lmao, Shadow Garden has truly mastered theatrics. Really looking forwared to the next episode. |

| Really well directed action scene, it's impressive how well they were able to show the movement and momentum of the fight without extremely detailed animation. |

| Damn, this episode made it seem like Cid is the main character. The hot springs scene was pure content. We also got to see Cid go into Shadow form while he stood up against a formidable opponent, for which I got hyped up, but in the end, the Witch met its master. |

| The goddess trial is starting up and it did not disappoint. Every contestant fights against a summoned warrior from the past who responds to their power. It lowkey gave me fate vibes with masters summoning servants/heroic spirit. Cid versus Aurora, the witch of Calamity was an intense and epic battle. Her bloody spears are no joke. The way Cid dodges them is so effortless. Also, I love the little rivalry that Beta and Alexia are having. They're both very beautiful and attractive women trying to get Cid to fall for them. Alexia should not be insecure about her breasts. They're just as nice and voluptuous as Beta's breasts.  Long live princess Alexia! The most sexist tsundere of the Midgar Kingdom. |
