| Really entertaining and polished episode, however it lacked something. I'm not a fan of CSM manga, but I remember moments that got adapted in episode 2 and they felt to have more hmm... more soul, perhaps? Meh, Power is way too loud and annoying. I like Makima more. |
| Lots of different character dynamic and expression in 2 eps alone which i love. Unique character's in the form of personality is probably one of the my favourite things a show can offer, just makes them so much more rememberable and makes the show better. Hayakawa's serious character was shown well, he takes his job seriously and has definitely seen some rough shit on the job. His reasoning for being on the job can be seen as simple but i felt like his talk to Denji about the different types of people he's seen on the job and their reasons for the job are much deeper. His past with devils explains his monotone feelings towards them as well as Makima saving him. Overall holds a lot of polar opposite traits to Denji. Thats why seeing the two together i can already tell is gonna be funny af with Hayakawa being the serious character and Denji being the clown. Denji with nut shots was brutal though, but i won't lie when i say, between Hayakawa trying to get Denji off the job due to his "shallow reasons" and seeing first hand Denji's life, i rooted for Denji, but could change if Hayakawa's character gets shown more. Did pity Hayakawa tho after seeing Denji crash his place. Denji actually being a work of art. His character is becoming more likeable and unique, man has a goal, a mission and some of the best motivation a guy could ask for. Power with a crazy introduction, i feel like Denji and power could be on the same wave length at times, but power crazy af and i like it and want to see more of them. Bruh the absolute confidence and literal power u could hear in her voice as she announced to the heavens "THE KILL IS MINE HAHAHH" echoes levels of crazy i like. Also a bit wild to consider that Hayakawa might of paired Denji and Power together cus Denji speech that he wouldn't mind friends "even if they were devils" ontop of the fact Denji said he didn't go to school, made Hayakawa realise that Denji does have a pretty sad past himself and felt a tad bit sympathetic to him, or Hayakawa literally just saw it as an excuse to put crazy and crazy together. Makima, besides being a motivating/caretaking/idol for Denji and myself, is still the character with the most mystery. They've done a good job at making her so far incredibly hard to actually deduct her true intentions and feelings |

| Aki and Power!!! Two of my fav's in the series!!! Also lol, two popular manga panels were adapted in this episode. They were hilarious!!! Anyways, life is not gonna get any easier for Denji now. He must prove his worth to the higher up's. This episode was pretty good. Can't wait to see the next one!!! |
