| I wasn't sure I'd like this one. We just get so many decent looking music anime that follow a very similar, at this point fairly generic plot... and the synopsis gave all those same signals. I like that it's much more focused on the comedic side. Also really enjoy that it's more energetic than K-On (which was pretty boring by comparison). Jury is still out on this one for me, but so far I'm enjoying it way more than your standard fare for music anime. |

| This is actually so good. Read the manga a bit few years ago so was really looking forward to thisc but this is beyond my expectations. Animation and comedy are spot on. Opening is also lit! |

| I think this series is going to be one hidden gem of this season. It has the mix of K-ON! (My all-time favourite anime series) and Hitoribocchi (Very cute series) with bits of Watamote all mixed in together. The combination of a simple artstyle and smooth animation really makes this series shine. Same goes for the characters as well. Hitori herself is someone that I think most of the users in this discussion thread, myself included, can relate to in certain stages of our lives, due to her issues with social anxiety. It was a good thing that she got scouted out by Nijika and took Hitori to the underground stage as it did a good job in helping Hitori to taking the first steps of breaking out of her shell. All in all, this was a great first episode. I look forward to seeing how Hitori will grow as a character as this series goes on. =) |
| This was nice. The comedy is decent. The premise is interesting. Bocchi is a great guitarist but she ends up not able to play to her whole potential in public. It's just Bocchi chan wa Comyushou desu but with guitarist part added. It was surprising to learn that she's got 30K subs, that's fucking lot. Even her school mates know about her and that's saying something. We didn't get to hear her play properly so we can't really know how good she is but I'm looking forward to see her playing and her making progress in overcoming her social anxiety. The introvertness was portrayed realistically to some extent I think but sometimes it felt it was overdone. The false credits though haha. Those two knowing about her channel has given a huge cofidence boost for sure. This can be nice. I legit thought that was her older brother or something. |

| Love it so far. Show looks really great, just as I was hoping after seeing the PV. I was thinking I'd have to sit through 10 minutes of another boring loner character intro, but there's a lot of great jokes and I instantly liked her character. I wasn't much a fan of the other Bocchi from a few years ago. The main thing I'm hoping for is good chemistry between the 4 members, I think that's what's going to be the difference between this being good vs. amazing. Even her posture is just like me! |
| This is so cute, the art and character design is great, the comedy is actually funny and just getting the beautiful Hitoribocchi vibes... What's there NOT to love?! Opening and Ending fits and will definitely repeat it! |

| I'm not usually much for CGDCT, but this is looking great so far. Shows based on 4-koma manga tend to have a good rhythm to their comedic moments, and that was definitely the case here. The music sounds decent too and the ED visuals were adorable. |

| Pretty crazy to think 2 of the top 5 shows this season are CGDCT slice of life. We’re eating so good this season man. Clover works really might have something special here. The girls are great, the comedy hits and the art as usual is superb. Really feels like a modern K-On which is the highest praise you can put on a music show |

| Honesty I know it’s just one episode but damn much better start then I expected,MC is amazing (relatable reminds me of my past self) comedy actually good and ngl I kinda like more and more stuff by CloverWorks they go hard this last few seasons Did we finally got something as or nearly good as the goat(K-on!)? I’m so hyped for this might be my favorite anime of this season I rewatched it already…it’s so good I’m so happy |

| One of my most anticipated shows of the seasons. First episode was a blast, I really have a soft spot on CGDCT animes. First episode was hillarious, the fake ending on the middle got me off gouard. For a spilt second it made me think that the episode ended. |

| Undoubtedly my favourite premiere I've seen so far this season. The comedic timing is great, but more than that Hitori is great and aspects of her introversion are incredibly relatable: I've definitely had moments where I've tried to indirectly encourage social interaction rather than taking the lead myself (as she did with the CDs on her desk, taking her guitar to school etc.) and I've also had moments where I've wanted something to happen but almost backed out of it in panic when it was actually going to happen. This made it very easy for me to empathise with Hitori and her struggles, particularly her moments of near self-sabotage due to her introversion: it's a different portrayal of introversion to what I've usually seen in anime, and perhaps the most realistic so far. And seeing her new bandmates support or at least undertand it was very heartwarming and much better than the usual dynamic of "we must help the introvert become an extrovert" that so many shows like this go for. I've got a real good feeling about this one, that's for sure. |
| I've been waiting for this anime ever since the first teaser dropped and I'm happy to say it's really fucking good. It seems like CloverWorks is putting a lot of effort in this one with fluid animation, unique camera angles, and the usual dull tone I'm used to seeing from them. Jokes are funny and I got a good laugh out of them. This really feels like Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu meets K-On, but with slightly more cheerful setting and I love it. Great first episode, definitely going to keep on watching. |

| Not saying anything everyone else hasn't all ready, but I love all the characters and reaction faces. This is the most pleasant surprise since Kongming. Maybe music and comedy is just a great mix. |
| I'm a bit disappointed. It's pretty mediocre and the jokes are not funny (and I don't think I will ever find it funny). Now I won't drop it but I just hope it will get better Also I don't like Hitori, I think she is too awkward to be funny or interesting |
